    • @@Cooldude_987 He very well could have, but I do believe he told the truth as to why he left the Warriors, especially as Draymond Green made a fool of himself and had the Jordan Poole assault that the Warriors covered his ass for and gave Jordan Poole a hush contract last year. They really proved KD's point when he said the organization will just sweep shit under the rug, in reference to Draymond running KD out of town and being a bad teammate to the guy he wanted to come to GS in the first place. I think that aspect really should get talked about more often.

For 2-3 years, players should be ALLOWED to ( if they’ve already dedicated HIGHLY EFFECTIVE YEARS to an organization ) move around and have fun with the game of basketball. Nor did you mention how he singlehandedly almost beat that team (prevented only by his foot being on the line). It would've maintained and improved your argument near the conclusion and brought home how though he almost did win a chip (almost defeating the to-be champions), putting up a great effort and almost redeeming himself, people will forget this years from now due to his move--being another point to how he seemingly can have great moments/feats but they will always be overlooked and not given credit because of his past actions; an asterisk next to his name, despite his greatness. • Never put Lebron and KD in the same conversation again casual, the HEAT were a 47 wins team in 2010, Wade wasn’t a 2x reigning MVP like Curry, and the Warriors already had a Big 3 with Curry, the best shooter and off ball player ever, Draymond, the best Defender of this generation and Klay, the 2nd best shooter ever, so they already had a system, a system built around Curry, and they already had an amazing chemistry they were a 73 wins team ! Lebron FORMED a Big 3, KD JOINED a Big 3 and so he formed a big 4, he didn’t have to do anything to fit with this team while Lebron, Wade and Bosh only played together with the USA team, they had to build that team, and Wade was a very bad 3 pts shooter, so he wasn’t the best fit for Lebron, they literally had to put Lebron at the 4 and Bosh at the 5 for better spacing, that’s why Bron was so big in Miami. So it’s completely different, the Warriors without KD could beat the CAVS, and probably any team in the history of the NBA, the HEAT without Lebron would be a 55 wins and ECF team at best, especially after 2012 when Wade and even Bosh on a lesser extend were out of their prime and injury prone. What KD did in 2017 when he was the 2nd or 3rd best player in the world would be like if Shaq joined the BULLS in 96 after their 72 wins season, at the time Shaq was the 2nd or 3rd best player in the world after MJ and Karl Malone maybe. Or it would be like if Lebron joined the Spurs in 2007 or 2014, or the Celtics in 2008 after losing to them, and this wouldn’t even be as bad as what KD did because the 2016 Warriors were in another level than these teams even if they lost in the Finals. But just imagine Lebron with a prime Duncan, Parker, Ginobili and Coach Pop, or with a prime Kawhi, Parker and an old but still Top 10 player in the league Duncan, and an old but still great player Ginobili.. Or imagine Lebron with a prime KG, Paul Pierce, Ray Allen and Rondo … This would be similar to what KD did, but Lebron joining Wade and Bosh is similar to KD joining Harden and Kyrie, or KD joining Booker and Beal/Ayton, and i still think that these teams are more talented and that their players fit together better than the Lebron HEAT. And don’t even talk about the Lebron, Kyrie and Love CAVS, because they don’t fit any description of a superteam, Kyrie and Love weren’t Top 10 players and they never had a dominant regular season or post season run, it was similar to Jokic, Murray and MPJ or Aaron Gordon+ other great role players or Kawhi, Siakam, Kyle Lowry and great role players like Marc Gasol, Danny Green, FVV or Ibaka. This season Jamal Murray was the 1st player ever to average 30+pts on 50/40/90 split in the WCF, imagine having a 2nd option averaging 33ppg like prime Steph Curry, this was Murray in the ECF, and then Jamal was the only player ever to average 20+ppg and 10+ assists in the Finals with Lebron, MJ and Magic, but for some reason he is underated, but the numbers don’t lie Murray is just as good if not better than Kyrie, this same Murray dropped 2 50pts game in the same playoffs serie against Utah in 2020, only player ever to do that too, Murray is better than Kyrie, and MPJ or Aaron Gordon were just as good as K.Love, Aaron Gordon averaged 13.3 ppg on 58% Ts while playing elite defense on KAT, Ant, KD, Booker, Lebron and AD, and MPJ averaged 13.4ppg and 8.1 rebounds on 54% Ts while playing great defense with his 6’10 frame … And K.Love averaged 14.7ppg and 8.8 rebounds on 53% Ts in 2016 playoffs run, so very similar numbers and impact as AG and MPJ, but just because he was the 1st option on a bad team and had better stats when he was younger people think he was a superstar lol, that’s like saying Wiggins was a superstar on the Wolves because he averaged 23ppg and played elite defense .. K.Love was never that guy, reason why in his 16 years career, he only made the playoffs 5 times lol, 4 with Lebron and once with Jimmy this year 🤷🏾‍♂️

Then there's the Clippers. CP3, Blake Griffin in his prime, DeAndre Jordan. Who else was it? The Knicks? Wtf was going to that trash can fire of a franchise back then? OKC? Shit he played with Russ for 7 years up to that point and couldn't get it done. I guess going home to play for the Wizards would've sufficed. Prime John Wall and Bradley Beal (now his teammate). Lebron and Chris Bosh who were both signed from other teams and the Heat were not dominant the year prior at all so its not that much of a comparison. The Heat Super Team was formed to compete with the Celtics and the Spurs of that Era so again Lebron did not start the super team era. I am not a Lebron fan BTW although he is the greatest player the NBA has ever seen when he came back to Cleveland and won a championship against a 73 win Warrior squad with a non Super Team down 3-1 in the finals.

It’s LeBron and KD - THEY are telling you they are insecure about their legacies. Also I like them both. This is what LeBron fans do - they try to gaslight that Jordan isn’t as good or say “you don’t like LeBron so he isn’t the goat”. It’s not just me saying it ruined their legacies - it’s NBA legends saying it - they indirectly tell you because it’s why they have to cry “I should be higher ranked”. No one who is the goat has to tell people they are. There is no way you can cut up and repackage LeBron and KD’s career to make it better than Jordan or Kobe or Kareem. People try but their arguments crumble the second they have to defend them and it becomes “Jordan was a bad owner” - and? LeBron thought Westbrook would fit with him…and couldn’t make it work. Jordan didn’t lose 3 games in a row from 1990-1998. Just stop. I do like LeBron and KD. They are both great players. I don’t like that they took massive short cuts and accomplished much less while doing it and now are trying to gaslight people they should be ranked ahead of guys who accomplished more with less help and not constantly running from challenges. Also all these guys made lots of money. Are you a fan or a groupie? @IVslam@IVslam9 ай бұрын
    • @@seph8529 ill break down a few points and provide my own opinion, The Superteam Era: It's important to remember that while LeBron did join forces with other stars in Miami, the concept of consolidating talent isn't new. Legends like Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and even Michael Jordan played alongside multiple Hall of Famers. LeBron's move to Miami can be seen as a modern player's answer to front office decisions; instead of executives forming teams, players took that power into their own hands. Championships & Legacies: LeBron's legacy isn't solely defined by his rings. His all-around game, leadership, longevity, and consistency make him one of the all-time greats. Not winning a title every year doesn't diminish his impact or accomplishments. Dynasty Argument: Every team LeBron has joined became an instant contender. His influence on the game, both on and off the court, is undeniable. The Miami Heat weren't a dynasty before LeBron, and his return to Cleveland turned the Cavaliers from a lottery team to NBA champions. Media & Respect: Michael Jordan's era had a different media landscape. While it's true that Jordan didn't publicly demand respect, he was known for creating imagined slights to fuel his competitive fire. LeBron's interactions with the media reflect today's digital age, where every statement can be amplified on social media platforms. Comparing Legacies: Pitting LeBron against Jordan or any other legend overlooks the unique challenges each faced. Every era has its hurdles, and LeBron's dominance in an age of player empowerment, advanced sports science, and high-level competition across teams speaks volumes about his greatness. Challenges: It's a misconception that LeBron avoids challenges. He faced super teams in the Spurs and the Warriors, led a Cavaliers team to a championship against a 73-win Warriors squad, and continues to compete at an elite level despite being in the league for nearly two decades. Monetary Arguments: Athletes today, LeBron included, have more avenues for income due to the rise of personal branding and digital platforms. LeBron's off-the-court ventures should be celebrated, not used to diminish his basketball legacy. The idea that he pays the media for positive coverage remains a speculative claim without substantial evidence. GOAT Debate: The 'Greatest of All Time' debate is inherently subjective. Arguments can be made for several players, based on varying criteria. LeBron's continuous comparison to past legends is a testament to his influence and skill in the game.

They begged KD to come to GS after losing in spectacular fashion to the Cavs. They to were looking for a competitive advantage. KDs biggest problem is that he listens to the opinions of others and lets it affect him. It is clear that he's not a leader/alpha and doesn't want to be and he doesn't seem to want to be considered the greatest ever, he isnt motivated like that. Barkley always attacks KD as a bus-rider because KDs an easy target but he will not level the same critcism at Lebron or others for fear of the backlash. Alot of the hate KD got for that move was from the Lebron loving media/fanbase who knew that move ment Lebron wasn't going to win. KD should have never left GS, he was the difference maker on those teams and had he'd stayed it would increasingly be thought of as his team. But he left because he let that bs narrative get to him that he needed to play elsewhere in order to have the respect of dopes like Barkley. MJ's statement in that clip is genuine as he's the alpha of all alpha's, he wanted to dominate. KDs not that guy and has never pretended to be like Lebron fakes it.

Really, the game is about entertainment and they even stipulate that in the NBA code of conduct where they reserve the right to make alterations to the game in any way in name of “entertainment.” At the end of the day, I’m watching basketball to be entertained. As “competitive” as the teams in the NBA are now relative to 2015-2016, the game just doesn’t feel as exciting. 2014-2017 was just a time to be alive for basketball fans. • @@michaelkirschner6009 you’re a typical LeBronze fan that uses stats with no context. LEBRONZE AND KD DID THE SAME THING. Wade was a Finals MVP, a top 5 player, and both him and Bosh made multiple Olympics and all stars. And then you’re gonna add the best player in the league- in their peak prime in age. THAT is a super team, playing in that WEAK Leastern conference. Don’t say LeBronze was different. At least KD had to go through that much tougher western conference.

    • @@derrrick7759 and you're the typical casual fan who don't know shit about basketball. Bron's move isn't okay either but the difference here is Miami before Bron in 2010 is Wade and a bunch of role players that isn't even good. Bron team up with wade and bosh and build a team around them. KD joined an already established team. FYI in 2012-2014 even if Miami is in West they would still beat those teams. The Mavs at this point is nowhere near their 2011 run. Western conference teams like the Grizzlies, Clippers, Rockets, are mid, they had no chance on beating the Heat. Spurs and Thunder are the ones capable of being competitive with Miami but they can still beat them so saying they are on "WEAK" eastern conference as your point is just as stupid as you.

  • The things Lebron has done throughout his career are far weaker. When KD went to the warriors he immediately became their best player in the post season. When Lebron went to the heat it was still Wade’s team. Even Pat Riley confirmed that recently

    • Say whatever you want to about Bron, but he never went to tye dame teams that whooped his ass that he had down 3-1. Golden State made him an Unlockable character. Be real WHAT OTHER NBA SUPERSTAR JOINED TYE SAME TEAM THEY HAD DOWN. What KD did is the equivalent of Larry BIrd joing the fuckinf Lakers. Both Bron and KD have cheap rings. Got no respect for none competitive players.

  • You know I do agree with this but it's kinda hypocritical how nobody brings up LeBron going to Miami!!! In my opinion LeBron made it OK for superstars to make rhwse weak moves but KD somehow gets blamed??? Smh

  • KD did what Lebron did but he did it better. The truth is Curry and the warriors got two free chips from that move, so it’s really interesting when I hear him get brought up in top 10 discussion because of 4 rings, id personally never have him over Hakeem. Those are some of the most soft championships ever, and even still they barely got past the rockets. The era of collusion, where 1st team all nba players team up together in their primes (Lebron + Wade) (KD + Curry) You can’t shit on KD and not address the fact that Curry snuck in two rings because of KD after he choked in the 2016 finals.
