  • So when I was building the end of the map, I tried specifically to make sub 20 possible in theory, but not something that would happen in a week. After months had passed and seeing how almost everyone was convinced it wouldn't be done, I started to wonder if my math was correct - I guess now we know. Watching this run feels so surreal that I still have a hard time believing that it happened, but I'm glad it did. I don't know if the story of this map is over, but if it is - it was a wild goddamn ride.

    • Euphemism? Euphemism is a milder word for something "bad" or offensive, like defecating is a euphemism for shitting. Although euphemisms can be formed by understatement, like telling a child a dead person is just "asleep", they aren't the same.

Euphemisms are generally factually incorrect, they disguise the „bad“ thing you mean with another word that usually means something else.

The only thing I am unsure of is how much time it would shave off if you got rid of the mistakes, regardless if he was slower or faster in some places, mistakes add up time. Speedtech is much more showcased and played than before, now as much/more than tech, but same goes for dirt that is being driven much faster now (kinda "speed dirt"). Fullspeed is also still very present, but yeah I feel like "slower" types of gameplay sort of disappeared because the car is much more difficult to drive when slow, and accelerate less well than previous tm. Just look at RPG: its impossible to make RPG gameplay as good as before because of the new physics.. New car feels more like a real F1 now and less like a buggy
