They combined Summertime with Light my fire just because they felt like it. Sounds good! They used to improvise like this all the time live. That’s what made them exciting to see live. You never knew for sure what you would hear. And that’s what made them so great!! RIP Jim and Ray- I wonder if they are jamming together again

The doors are the best!!! There will never be another band like them!! They need to find some of the old lost songs and remaster them. I would pay a ridiculous amount for it and I know a lot of other people would to!!

My god, I wish Jim had sung more Blues. Very clever to sing Summertime and Fever with Light My Fire, because they're exactly the same blues chords. Thats why I've slways loved The Doors since I was a kid: they're all Bluesmen at heart. I love this SO much. Thank you for this. ❤️ 🇦🇺 🔥
How I wish I could be there to see and fell it myself....live....but I wasn't even born yet....I'm a (blues) piano/organ player myself, and this baseline (Am / Bm) I still play every day :) Because I adore it, simply adore it....It's genius because it is not hard, but it has more emotion and feeling in it than any other song I have ever heard.
What did The Doors think when putting this together? Yo Dawgs, we heard you like music so we put a song and a song into a song so you can listen while you listen while you listen? This is awesome!

Am/Bm is quite basic aye ? That's exactly how the greatest songs are made. Easy simple lines with easy notes, but magically played. Just like most great (blues) songs, 2 or 3 accords are enough to give my ears and heart some good old loving....

@steelersrule79 yeah was good. I prefere the more bluesy sound of the doors. Dont get me wrong, love the earlier weirder stuff too its just doors of 70/71, morrison hotel/la woman era, when jims voice turned dead gravely and raw from whiskey and cigars. Fantastic, especially when your drunk
