The version presented to us by the Disney studio is very different from the original, you will see it. The idea of the fairy tale is taken from Giambattista Basile. Let's look at the main differences between the fairy tale known to us and the original. So, the main character's name was Talia. Talia fell asleep because of evil witchcraft. The finger pricking with a spindle appeared in the fairy tale much later. Talia's father was inconsolable. This is where the most interesting part of the story begins. Talia was not placed in a crystal coffin. Instead, her father placed her on a beautiful velvet throne in a hunting hut in the deep forest. One day, the king of another kingdom passed by this hut while hunting. The king's falcon flew into the hut, the king followed it and saw a beautiful girl. The king tried to wake her up, but he failed. So he took the sleeping beauty and put her to bed. And then you can easily imagine what happened ) It smells of necrophilia, doesn't it?) After that the king went away. Nine months later, the king came back to the hut. During the king's absence the sleeping beauty gave birth to twins - a girl Moon and a boy Sun. The children were hungry and in search of milk the boy started sucking his mother's finger. A splinter from a spindle fell out of Talia's finger and she woke up. At the same time, the king appeared in the hut, amazed that the beautiful girl was awake. The king confesses to her that they are his children. The king still loved Talia and was ready to take care of her and the children, but he was married. He could not make Talia queen, so she stayed with the children in the hut and the king visited them occasionally. The queen however guessed that the king was not faithful to her. One of the king's servants told her that the king was visiting his mistress in the forest. The queen was furious and ordered Talia and her children to be caught. She devised a plan of terrible revenge. The queen ordered to make meat pies out of the children and feed them to the king. And the queen ordered Talia to be burned. The end of the story is as follows - the king eats very tasty meat pies at lunch. The queen goes down into the dungeon and the king heard inhuman screams from there. Running there, the king saw his Talia burning. The king was furious and demanded an explanation from his wife. Then the queen told him that he had just eaten his children for lunch. However, the king's cook confessed that he had not dared to kill the children and he had put lamb meat in the pies. The king rejoiced and burned his wife on a fire prepared for Talia. Thus Talia and the children were saved and the king lived happily ever after with them!

    • Не помните потому, что наши переводчики оригинал адаптировали для советских детей, а то от такой жести у детей бы энурез развился😮. У европейцев много таких "сказок", я бы назвала их ужастики...

    • @@user-fx8oo1es3j при чем тут наши переводчики и советские дети? Изначальные версии сказок были отредактированы самими братьями в четвертом издании, поскольку первые издания не прошли критику именно как детская литература. Это было в 1825 году, за сотню лет до Союза.
