  • To practice fly around the test range using the little bird with 25mm cannons and pretend the trees are little groups of enemy soldiers as they are A LOT like trying to take out an enemy soldier because you have to be very accurate (more so than you would think) and there's so many on the range that it REALLY is a lot like a combat scenario. Use them as such, pretend they have rocket launchers and dart to cover to reload to protect yourself and use the building to hide and pull fake out moves as if you're trying to fake them out so they don't know which side you'll pop out - and from time to time do 2-3 low altitude laps around the road circling the island flying as close to the road as possible - to the extent that it nearly looks like you're a car driving on the road.

    • TB topguN I only say to use it on test range because it forces you to be accurate because you can only get a few bursts off before having to reload which thereby forces you (if you use your imagination properly and you're in the right mind set) into feeling like "i HAVE to get this shot off; not only do i HAVE to get it off i HAVE to do it as accurately as possible whilst keeping the engagement as short and sweet as possible to minimize being exposed and vaunerable to nearbye enemies with launchers" sort of feeling that you get in an actual game scenario because you can't just fly around spraying a constant stream of bullets - you get give or take 33 and you have to make each of them count. I hope that makes sense i don't know any other way to explain it. I'm not saying using anything else on Test Range isn't helpful i'm simply stating why i choose to use these 9 out of 10 times.

  • I have been watching the full video, 5 minutes later i was in the test range of Bf4 on Ps3 and try to Remember everything you have said, after at least 3 hours spending time in the test range to figure everything out i decided to put the things i have learned from your video into real battle, It actually helped me so much that i can now fly a chopper properly and take out targets while strafing or with missiles, Thanks so much for this video and i have shared it for a buddy of mine who also has troubles flying choppers,

  • I think one more tactics is worth mentioning, when you have your friend with u in a scout chopper, u have 25mm cannons and laser guided(vehicle setup) and he has 7.62mm and heatseekers(air setup). when the heli comes up, u just simply change seats, your friend has better chance against him with his loadout, when the tank rolls up, he can't even do damage to him, u change seats next time and u can take down whatever vehicle appears(u even have chance against attack boat). this combo can be used on every map as u are prepared for all types of combat u can run into.

  • That display across the top that you referred to as the tilt/pitch is actually for the axis of movement know in the aviation world as 'roll'. Just thought you'd like to know for future videos. Knowledge is power. Great video by the way. I'm a seasoned Battlefield pilot and I found some of the information in here extremely helpful. Pitch, Roll, Yaw are the three that make up axial movements in an aircraft. Pitch is used to the describe the up and down movement of the aircraft on a horizontal plain. Don't thing of it in altitude, but more of the angle of the airframe in relation to that same horizontal plain. A good way to visualize this concept is to take your hand and imagine a piece of string is going from the first knuckle on your thumb through the hand and to the first knuckle on your pinkie, limiting your vertical movement, instead your hand can change angle in relation to that piece of string. This is pitch. Roll is used to describe the angle of the aircraft in relation to a vertical plain. As above, take that same piece of imaginary string and move it to the top of your middle finger and through your hand to your wrist, again limiting your vertical axis of movement, AS WELL AS your pitch now. Now, you are free to tilt the edges of your hand down and up in relation to that vertical plain created by that imaginary piece of string. This is roll. Yaw is used to describe to side to side motion of the nose of the aircraft. Again, same piece of imaginary string, but this time put it directly down through the top of your hand. While you are now free to move vertically, it will cut off the pitch and roll. Now you can move the tips of your fingers from side to side without 'pitching' or 'rolling'. This is Yaw. Source: I've been working on Huey and Cobra helicopters for a couple years as an avionics tech. We deal with this shit weekly in some way or another and it's fucking annoying. I hope that someone finds this useful, as I realize that I can be really horrible at explaining things sometime. If it's hard to understand then I'm sure there's a video somewhere about it. Yes I'm aware that string is easy to manipulate, but humor me alright?

I have the flying mechanics down, but still having trouble aiming the guns, so have trouble finishing off other choppers and getting kills on infantry. I'm switching back to the small guns, and I think my main problem is not leading the targets. Going to try as you suggested. Thanks for sharing. Keep 'em coming!

The US gets 2 scout helis and they were both flying really low and slow. I hopped in a T90 and in the span of about 30 seconds took both down, only 1 shot each

  • I watched the whole video. I'm not that great with BF4, sometimes I'm awesome and sometimes I just suck hard. I learned a lot from this, I've actually learned a lot from your other videos too, I really appreciate it. I've been feeling like I've been doing things wrong, and yes, I have. I'm not surprised.
