2021. get on my level.
2022. Get on MY level
Its a masterpiece isn't it?
To practice fly around the test range using the little bird with 25mm cannons and pretend the trees are little groups of enemy soldiers as they are A LOT like trying to take out an enemy soldier because you have to be very accurate (more so than you would think) and there's so many on the range that it REALLY is a lot like a combat scenario. Use them as such, pretend they have rocket launchers and dart to cover to reload to protect yourself and use the building to hide and pull fake out moves as if you're trying to fake them out so they don't know which side you'll pop out - and from time to time do 2-3 low altitude laps around the road circling the island flying as close to the road as possible - to the extent that it nearly looks like you're a car driving on the road.
Thanks for the tips
Brandon Jordan never use 25mm on that helicopter. way too slow to kill inf. 7.62 is best :)
Good idea and it worked! Thank you sir!
+SINister Gaming (SINxWARLORD) PLEASE CHECK OUT MY GAMING KZhead CHANNEL LIKE AND SHARE AND ALSO SUBSCRIBE
TB topguN I only say to use it on test range because it forces you to be accurate because you can only get a few bursts off before having to reload which thereby forces you (if you use your imagination properly and you're in the right mind set) into feeling like "i HAVE to get this shot off; not only do i HAVE to get it off i HAVE to do it as accurately as possible whilst keeping the engagement as short and sweet as possible to minimize being exposed and vaunerable to nearbye enemies with launchers" sort of feeling that you get in an actual game scenario because you can't just fly around spraying a constant stream of bullets - you get give or take 33 and you have to make each of them count. I hope that makes sense i don't know any other way to explain it. I'm not saying using anything else on Test Range isn't helpful i'm simply stating why i choose to use these 9 out of 10 times.
I have been watching the full video, 5 minutes later i was in the test range of Bf4 on Ps3 and try to Remember everything you have said, after at least 3 hours spending time in the test range to figure everything out i decided to put the things i have learned from your video into real battle, It actually helped me so much that i can now fly a chopper properly and take out targets while strafing or with missiles, Thanks so much for this video and i have shared it for a buddy of mine who also has troubles flying choppers,
Glad it helped you out. That was the goal.

lol, an empty helicopter killed a teammate at 2:50
Haha i saw that 😂
It’s funny cause it didn’t even explode it landed perfectly 😂😂
haha he flew into a teamate
this dude is a crazy pilot. i need someone like him, i always get idiots as pilots
you can't blame them tho. at least they'll learn from their mistakes
Cesar Avina yeah but if they're level 70+ and can't fly for shit thats on them. i can fly ok I guess, but if I'm trying to get in an attack heli I just wait for someone else to fly because I know i'm not that great of a pilot.
Dan// You got a point
Well if idiots don't try they won't get better
true
I think one more tactics is worth mentioning, when you have your friend with u in a scout chopper, u have 25mm cannons and laser guided(vehicle setup) and he has 7.62mm and heatseekers(air setup). when the heli comes up, u just simply change seats, your friend has better chance against him with his loadout, when the tank rolls up, he can't even do damage to him, u change seats next time and u can take down whatever vehicle appears(u even have chance against attack boat). this combo can be used on every map as u are prepared for all types of combat u can run into.
Excellent tactic Martin
Wow I'm an amazing player and realized that is a genius idea! WOW
We can try it if you want, im quite good pilot too :) add me on battlelog, tinokrno, looking forward to see you :D
I didn't even think avout that d 😂 bravo
That display across the top that you referred to as the tilt/pitch is actually for the axis of movement know in the aviation world as 'roll'. Just thought you'd like to know for future videos. Knowledge is power. Great video by the way. I'm a seasoned Battlefield pilot and I found some of the information in here extremely helpful. Pitch, Roll, Yaw are the three that make up axial movements in an aircraft. Pitch is used to the describe the up and down movement of the aircraft on a horizontal plain. Don't thing of it in altitude, but more of the angle of the airframe in relation to that same horizontal plain. A good way to visualize this concept is to take your hand and imagine a piece of string is going from the first knuckle on your thumb through the hand and to the first knuckle on your pinkie, limiting your vertical movement, instead your hand can change angle in relation to that piece of string. This is pitch. Roll is used to describe the angle of the aircraft in relation to a vertical plain. As above, take that same piece of imaginary string and move it to the top of your middle finger and through your hand to your wrist, again limiting your vertical axis of movement, AS WELL AS your pitch now. Now, you are free to tilt the edges of your hand down and up in relation to that vertical plain created by that imaginary piece of string. This is roll. Yaw is used to describe to side to side motion of the nose of the aircraft. Again, same piece of imaginary string, but this time put it directly down through the top of your hand. While you are now free to move vertically, it will cut off the pitch and roll. Now you can move the tips of your fingers from side to side without 'pitching' or 'rolling'. This is Yaw. Source: I've been working on Huey and Cobra helicopters for a couple years as an avionics tech. We deal with this shit weekly in some way or another and it's fucking annoying. I hope that someone finds this useful, as I realize that I can be really horrible at explaining things sometime. If it's hard to understand then I'm sure there's a video somewhere about it. Yes I'm aware that string is easy to manipulate, but humor me alright?
2:40 that parking though xD
Another great tutorial. Seriously, your presentation, delivery, and content are not only helpful but clear and understandable even for horrible pilots like myself. You do really good work, and it is certainly appreciated!
One of the best tutorials that Ive ever seen. Havent played Battlefield 4 for over 5 years and Im back to it in 2021. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.
From start to finish this is one of the best teaching videos, long time battlefield player here and haven't played bf4 since the year it came out, just bought it again and this will take my skills back to where they were
i watched the whole video at once and i actually enjoy longer vids like this because i know i missed or will forget some key points so i have reason to re-watch it later. i appreciate all the effort you put into this, and i'm putting in my own to ensure i will glean as much of the information as possible from your awesome vid.
I watched it all the way through, thank you for the advice. I just bought battlefield 4 for PS3 and it's the first time ever playing. I thought this tutorial was thoughtful and informative. Great job and I hope to see more from you.
Ayyy watched it all the way through! This was actually very informational, and somewhat motivational! Thank you for everything!
This is a great and really comprehensive video! Probably one of the best on KZhead and I've watched quite a few. Alternating between this video and the Test Range has buffed my heli skills considerably - thanks for taking the time to put this out there!
Phil Maus Glad it helped
After playing a few rounds watch this video again . The tips make a lot more sense & become clearer . Thanks PICK_SIX .
Watched the whole thing. Very well done. I knew most of the info because I have watched just about every tutorial on KZhead, but still picked up a couple things. XB360 player here. I have the flying mechanics down, but still having trouble aiming the guns, so have trouble finishing off other choppers and getting kills on infantry. I'm switching back to the small guns, and I think my main problem is not leading the targets. Going to try as you suggested. Thanks for sharing. Keep 'em coming!
2:50, Dat TK.
lol
7 years later... And this still very helpful, thanks dude, I will try Choppers now for sure. Since the game was released on Steam, I havent tryed Helis yet. Now it's time to learn something new, thx a lot for the infos.
ive been playing bf4 for a while, and being in the scout helicopter is by far my favorite thing to do. The advanced tips are working out great so far. thank you for the video, and keep up the good work :D -99ma
Hey mate excellent tutorial vid, i watched the full duration in one hit and will no doubt refer back to it again to recap. Alot of good info for practicing my techniques....your onto it. Big ups man...cheers!
Great tutorial!! I'm a longtime BF player but it was good to go over everything as I dive back in
Love the tutorial, I've played bf4 on and off recently and my air based combat in general is horrendous. Thanks so much for the guide!
I watched the whole vid. It is actually well done and organized and really appreciate you taking the time. I will be implementing your techniques in my console play. I definitely will be working on taking cover which I think my biggest error. Not confident in my controls yet and keep crashing to I just fly away lol. Once more thanks for the vid. Keep up the good work.
really nice and comprehensive vid man. Earned a sub!
you can lock on to a helicopter wait until they panic and flare out then shoot them
That's the only way i can take out a chopper lmao and also i get killed so much that way :P
Only works on maps with not much cover for air vehicles
it only works on trash pilots
Doesn't work on people who know when to use countermeasures
Lol I do this
I was always pretty decent at Battlefield 3 and 4.. good days and bad days like everyone has. Your tutorials help out alot and make me a more effective player. Thanks bro!
Excellent tutorial watched all at once and it's 4 am now..keep up the good work.
Watched it all at once :D I freaking love your tutorials, they're so incredibly informative.
Get a room
Thanks for the tutorial!! This is what I've been looking for and its easy to understand, so thanks
THANKYOU SO MUCH!!!!! I have been trying to find videos on how to survive longer as a Helo Pilot in BF4, but no one else seems to have made any. I completely knowledgeable on how to operate a Chopper, but never been able to last a good while in a game (except these last few days I have been getting lucky) Thank you on helping me improve my Gameplay as a Helo Pilot. :) :) :)
Agree with many below - great video. This is the last of a handful of yours I've seen recently, and it's the one that sealed the deal on my subscription. Thank you; I look forward to watching more.
Lovely stuff bro, thanks alot for the details! I watched it all at once :) I like your attitude and your fun to listen to. Cheers
Great video I learned allot from it and just started piloting in battlefield 4 and it's awesome
Great tips. I'm slowly learning but I'll get more practice in and put this advice in action.
Great tutorial here!! I *never played BF4 as until now I did not know there even WAS a BF4 as of 4-13-2017!!* Long time ago like 2010-11 I learned *the hard way in BF2 how to fly backwards. Stoney's Dalian Plant air 2 air combat.* Was a favorite map/game. Learned hard way *how VITAL gunner was.* Learned how to *attack from above and behind* to kill enemy. Thanks so much for all the great info!!
I already knew how to fly it just wanted to see how other pilots do it! Amazing video it was super detailed and yes I watched the whole thing ;)
Started as the worst noob flying a few weeks ago and have practiced alot after i watched this tutorial. I've become pretty decent flyer now and just made my way up to Div 1, Thank alot and keep up the good job
All I can say is that, that video is probably the best tutorial I have seen in a while. My flight skill is pretty good I'm a pretty hardened battlefeild vet due to bf3 and bf4 experience, so I have been flying for a long time and I'm happy to say that even this video helped me out.
I watched the whole vid and I used to watch your battlefield 3 bids keep up the good work
i watched this whole video in 1 sitting. tons of useful information that I'm going to try to utilize.
This was a fantastic video. I was always mediocre at flying, i had a hard time with the aiming part of it. I also lowered my sensitivity so my aim stays true. Good video man.
Omg bro thank you so much i was going to give up trying to learn to fry the heli and i kept trying now with your trips i feel alot better now ive got my wings bro thank you
I watched the whole thing. Great tips bro
Lol I was one of the no one that you referred to who tilt their nose down and then get MIA. ..but after watching your video, I've improved a lot. Thanks a lot dude.😀
Thanks to you I am at my peek of flying and am so good, thank you for making this tutorial
thanks for this video! very helpful and motivating for learning the chopper control
watched it all at once! great vid.
Hey man, im new to flying and i plan to live by this guide with variations to stay alive and whatnot. Watched all in one go and lets see if im worthy of these skills
Great vid, really helpful. I'm an ok pilot when not being shot at, great for flight sim not so much for bf4 so now to head to the test range and practice practice practice.

Bro, the best tutorial out there, tku so much my friend!
Great video, Lots of relevant points and tips.
Awesome video! You have good vocabulary and not a lot of verbal mistakes. I have been piloting since Battlefield Bad Company 2, but I will still take this into consideration.
thanks for the helpful tips you gave me the advantage to get more stuff on helicopter now I Maxed out
watched the whole thing at once. Great video!
Thank you so much it helped a lot.and amazing video by the way keep it up
I Learned A Lot. Very Helpful. Took Mental Notes. Time For Practice. (Subscribed)
PICK_SIX That hud thing was actually very useful. I'm a console pilot and I'm really good but wow never payed attention to the hud and like perfect. Very helpful. I sadly never noticed the countermeasures recharge indicator.. so very useful. So people would probably call me a noon till they saw me fly. And most if not all of your tips... very very useful. Wonderful tutorial. Thank you!
Man U helped me a lot I sucked at helicopters until I saw your vid now I'm on top of the leader bored with 32 kills just using helicopters. You are a life saver thanks man keep up the great work.😄👍
i have watched this 3 times lol great vids thanks for the help keep up the good work
Thanks a lot! It was interesting all the way to the end so i made it smoothly. Oce more, thanks!!
This was really helpful dude thank you and keep up the good work your vids are great man you just got a new sub
Welcome aboard.
Thank you for this. I have been playing BF4 for a couple years now and STILL struggle to fly the helo's. Any help is always appreciated. I don't expect to get as good as you show but at least I can get the damn thing in the air now lol Suscribed
I've been winging it on bf4 with the helicopters. thanks for this video it has really helped! you definitely earned a subscriber!
Thanks for this man.. It's given me inspiration to get back in the heli and master it on the test range and other maps. I get so despondent when I'm taken down so many times. I liked what you said about flying to high or too low. That's a big problem for me!
It comes with practice and continued evaluation of the threats.
Thanks, great thorough vid. See you out there!
I love the videos you make.. great tutorial, great fun even only to watch them! Thanks a lot for this great work! Your videos are motivating me/us i think!
This was a ton of help I use to be a nood at flying but now I'm really good at it
Very helpfull... I'm a complete noob at Battle Field 4 and i crash nearly every time I fly a chopper... I'm about to try this out in the training area... earned my sub
Watched it at once. Can't wait to try it out
Very Good. Very Detailed. Thank you.
Really enjoyed this, thanks for doing it. I know how much time these videos can take to make so thanks for taking the time for noobs like me trying to be a better helo pilot.
What you said about taking out chopper pilots who fly too low reminded me of one game back in BF3; it was Nosahr (or Noshar?) Canal conquest on 360. The US gets 2 scout helis and they were both flying really low and slow. I hopped in a T90 and in the span of about 30 seconds took both down, only 1 shot each
Knew this already but it's good to get reminded! :) Probably need a new vid now to cover all the updates.
Not "flown" since BF2 as never played BF3 so I watched the while video, favourite'd iti and will refer back as I found it very useful. Thanks.
rly helped now , g8 full information , was scared even to try them , now i'm flying with them more easily , i guess im a pilot now only the thing is to train on attack tactics and so , thanks so much
Excellent video and clear as day instruction. You nailed this one!
Smile Wider Good. That's the goal.
+RevertiveCube34 no

i started about less than a month ago and watched this from 00 till the end :) lots of struggle lots of practice, but ye practice makes it perfect, it goes slowly but in time u'll get satisfied :)
Amazing Great Effort i cant imagine how hard it is to make this video you are a hero thank you very much Just amazing effort
Awesome video, very detailed, and informative, thank you.

Great vid mate keep it up
I watched the whole video. I'm not that great with BF4, sometimes I'm awesome and sometimes I just suck hard. I learned a lot from this, I've actually learned a lot from your other videos too, I really appreciate it. I've been feeling like I've been doing things wrong, and yes, I have. I'm not surprised.
Great video, Liked for the time and effort of the video
i feel more comfortable watching these now, expands my knowledge and skill eventho i already am good with it but its not harmful to re check all the tips every now and then :P
