I really like how thorough you are and how well you explain everything, and the book is amazing as well. There's also a book I would recommend that you add to your book club called ancient wealth cipher, that book saved me financially and helped me learn things about money I never knew existed and were possible. Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. The stock market has plenty of opportunities to earn which I myself took advantage of. I made my first million from going diverse, mainly ETFs(stocks, bonds etc), bitcoin, and gold. I'm also working on an investment plan that includes NFTs with my advisor,Kelvin Maorgan. It's been a year and half of steady growth.

Successful investing is hard work because it means disciplining your mind to do the opposite of human nature. Buying during a panic, selling during euphoria, and holding on when you are bored and just craving a little action. Investing is 5% intellect and 95% temperament.
We have learnt in investing journey that you can't control the market but you have the power to control your actions in the market

psychology of money was gifted to me by my wife on my birthday. It is the best book that I have read in recent years. I truly agree with the base assumption of the book that at a personal level money is about psychology, discipline and grit and not about formulas and maths.
Paid off my students loans early putting as much as I could afford from my salary into it, and just as Ali suggests with his mortgage example, it is not the best thing to do at all, but the emotional value of having that weight off your shoulders just gives me peace. In the end, I just want peace.
In the end, you are buying freedom, and freedom is a subjective matter. Congrats
Same!! I took out student loans my first year and then worked my ass off to pay them down while still in college. It would've been much "smarter" to wait since they weren't accruing any interest at all...but graduating debt free was an amazing feeling and 100% worth it.

It’s easier to make money now, investors should make more practical moves this coming year and seek guidance where needed since the future is unknown. Stocks with solid operational performance and financial strength, should be considered .
Investors should anticipate the factors that impact portfolio performance and make decisions based on their expectations.
I think it’s best for investors to play it safe, No one can say what how the stock market will turn out this year. I bought some stocks I expected to do better but they didn’t.
@@noelstout3056 you should probably make adequate research on stocks before adding to you portfolio or seek guidance, my portfolio has grown rapidly with the guidance of my FA Dan Raziel who’s helped added dividend paying stocks with regular income despite market volatility and with Dan at the helms of my trades, there’s been increase in my annual earnings.

You gotta stay alive in the markets to make it long term. YOU MUST CONTROL RISK/DIVERSIFY! You gotta fly straight. First rule of making money is to not lose money. Remember what Frank told Tony Montana in Scarface? "Remember when I told you when you first started working for me, the guys that last in this business, are the guys who fly straight. Low-key, quiet. But the guys who want it all, chicas, champagne, flash ... they don't last. You know what a Chazzer is? It's a Yiddish word for "pig." See, the guy, he wants more than what he needs. He don't fly straight no more." Ask yourself if youre a Chazzer, or investing rationally for the long term
