How to beat the conjuring:
We had a rule that if the dog could not get in the house (too many stairs, something wrong with the door) we would not buy the house. So the dog refusing point blank would be a deal breaker
This is the one movie where someone audibly yelled "come on, b---h," in the theater during the basement and music box scene, and the everyone let out a prolonged "biiiiiiiiii--h."
"I would have left the house when the dog died, because I would have chalked it up to a dangerous wild animal. I do not know how to deal with it. I would have thought it was either a mountain lion, wolf, coyote, and least possibly a bear, all that could be dangerous to the kids."
I don't care if its a ghost or something else. You hurt my dog... I'm turning into doom slayer
No killer demon is a match for my taste in music, monologing about weird things, writing fanfic that would make my grandma passed out from embarrasment, not to mention my "unique" cooking skills. By the end of the first week the demon will either leave or start paying me rent.
The fact that the dog was the only smart one not going in the house is funny
sees my mug move on its own after i just moved into a nice beautiful house
For those interested in the true story, Andrea Perron did write 3 books on the actual events that occurred in the house, and the movie writers had to tone it back because the true story was "too scary" for the greater audience
best way to beat it is just to move out or not move in at all, the chances of the owners being you are very low and if i see anything severely wrong with the house im moving the same day
So she sacrificed her child to the devil for power…then promptly ran outside and killed herself…REALLY put that power to good use!

The first Conjuring was so good. It should have stayed the only Conjuring.
