Because of the man which could have been playing everywhere but stayed with his club with less money and no chance to win CL. And Ofcourse this intensive fans and atmosphere. How can you say someone's the best player in the world when he played his whole life being carried by Barça, a huge club full of top tier players, since he was young? He wouldn't survive the english or italian leagues. Now he went to PSG with Neymar and Mbappe, lmao. Farmers league surrounded by top tier players, just so people don't realise how shitty he would be if he was solo on a real league.

    • @@atharvrao1417 Barça had excelent players whose main role was assisting Messi, of course he's gonna be the top scorer. Just like Ronaldo had them in Madrid. My point still stands. Messi isn't tested at all. You can't play your whole life in only 1 league and surrounded by the best, and consider yourself the best player in the world. That's not how it works. It is like if you play a videogame where there are different classes, and you have only played 1 class your whole life and you became the best player rank 1 at that class. You can consider yourself good playing that character, but can't consider yourself the best player in the world at said game, while there are dudes who have played all the classes and are top 5-10 in all of them. Those are the real top players. Ronaldo played in Portuguese league, Spanish league, English league, Italian league, and now in Arab league. If he decides to not end career there, he might even end his career in American league. He also had a much worse life than Messi and overcame much more adversities.
