In this video you will learn the ultrasound features of acute appendicitis and pitfalls.
You will learn how to identify conditions that cause enlarged appendix and could be mistaken for acute appendicitis, these conditions include:
lymphoid hyperplasia of the appendix.
Fecal distention of the appendix.
Mucocele of the appendix.
Enlarged appendix in patients with cystic fibrosis.

  • this video was very helpful, I really appreciate, when I saw your others video that was also great but the one thing that i wanted to see is disease place in patients body while doing ultrasound and with the screen of ultrasound and buttons on the ultrasound machine at the same time, so we can understand how to do ultrasound in write manner, please consider my request, or you can watch (radiology nation) channel for demonstration that what I was saying, your videos of gynaecology is excellent please if you show us how to use prob on patients body I would be really helpful too ,thanks
