Can't be ANY closer of an ending than that. As a Dawg fan, massive props to OSU for a thrilling game. Stroud did ALL the things the pundits said he'd have to do to have the chance to win.

@@TheRealPurpleHand I really like Young but my goodness he’s too small to take beating likes he’s going to take going to a bad team. Maybe he’ll get lucky. Stroud would look great in a Falcons uniform but I can’t wait to see where Bennett ends up. He has a lovely habit of exceeding expectations.

Never in the history of the game did a two point conversion mean so much! Couple that with a critical timeout from Georgia and a botched field goal from Ohio, and it’s game over!

Stets throw to Brock on that last drive still boggles my mind. He side armed it to get it past the line of scrimmage it went by the linebackers finger by maybe an inch and it landed perfectly in Brock’s arm. The standard angle doesn’t do it justice
Georgia is about the luckiest team in sports. They had trouble enough with Marvin until cheap shotting him. What were their chances if they don't knock him out? Plus, Ohio State's other all-world WR Jaxon Smith-n-Jigba opted out. Had he played, Ohio State would easily have put up 60+ points and blown Georgia out of their own stadium.

This game was the ultimate stress test for me as a Georgia fan at the game. It was so awesome to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat and send an annoying AF OSU fan beside me home crying.

Been a dawg fan from the minute I exited the womb 40 yrs ago. This was the single best moment for me as a dawg fan in all of those years! look at the hiking penalty at 4:07 on jalen carter, they literally tackled him. i’m all about not throwing flags and letting the boys play but that was just unreal
Couldn't believe they didn't throw a flag. They saw it. Clear as day. Jalen even looking back at him with his hands up.
Don't forget they got away with 12 men on the field when they tried the fake punt. It cost us a timeout to keep them from getting a penalty. The refs sucked

#93 was being held as well. The refs let them holds go all night long. Amazing that Georgia was still able to manage 4 sacks.
Screen pass in the first half Hickman #15 get held blatantly. They weren’t calling it all night on either team.

As a Michigan fan, this was very interesting, to say the least. For most of the game, I thought Georgia was going to lose, but when the OSU kicker missed a potential game-winning field goal, I cheered so loud my head was hurting for a long time.
Glad to see that YOU, a Michigan fan, were rooting for Georgia in this game.

Misery loves company and a Michigan fan can take a bit of comfort knowing Ohio State also lost. Even Georgia beating down TCU doesn't sour michigan fans because Ohio State lost. Everyone knows Michigan's loss to TCU was a fluke. Michigan wouldn't have beat the dawgs but they would have at LEAST scored more than once. I mean come on man!

I wasn't sold on the holding claim until I watched the game again. Their OL was very handsy
So did Georgia, lol. Also got away with a targeting and a late timeout, don’t bring the refs into this.
I go back and watch this game more than TCU. Very thrilling. tOSU put up the best fight we’ve seen since the natty last season.
I wish you would have included the two series prior at the beginning of the vid when bowers BARELY converted the 4th down to give Dawgs a a chance to continue the drive which led to a FG to give them 27 and then the ensuing Oh St drive that ended in a punt prior to the Arian Smith TD. EDIT: Having said all that, still a tremendous vid!

@@guber7464 Nah, actually if they would have called holding on OSU's Oline for even half the times they did it, I doubt Stroud would have put up half the numbers he did and the score would have been lopsided in UGA's favor.

Georgia was missing Nolan Smith and Darnell Washington. Jalen Carter, Brock Bowers, and 13 others had the flu. Ladd Mcconkey was playing injured..as was Carter. Georgia missed 2 field goals. The Dawgs had just played LSU in the SEC title game while Ohio State was sitting at home on the couch eating Cheetos! Despite this, the Dawgs still won!! There's a little perspective for everyone!

I can't hate on Ohio State as a Georgia fan, but their team is very comparable to George's roste.r. Ohio State was very deep at running back very very deep at wide receiver and luckily for us your best receiver didn't play. Every team has injuries around that time of year so I don't think either team can make any excuses you still have to play the game. Nonetheless, what a hell of a game

@@npierce14 I've spent a lot of time in the north, in California, born in South Florida, lived in North Carolina (RTP) and Georgia. You are correct that northerners "think" they are smarter and superior to southerners. Truth is they are not. My experience is that northerners are not any smarter at all. From an "intelligence" perspective, I'd put Georgia's flagship "academic" university (Georgia Tech) up against Ohio's (OSU) any day of the week. The other glaring truth is that the south is far more diverse than much of the north. When I travel to areas like PA, NJ, NY, OH, WI, IL, IN, MA, CT, NH and VT, I see a lot of areas outside of major cities where there is not a single person of color, all lily white. In the south, there is diversity even out into rural areas. So for northerners that pride themselves on being so "liberal" and "cool", you're the real racists who don't want people of color in your white suburbs. RTP, Atlanta, etc. - all of their suburbs are very much integrated and they all get along just fine.
The skill level in Ohio State's kicker: Kicking into a whole new year! Respect 👏

To me, the moment ohio state lost was at about 1:36. A touchdown pretty much puts the game away and they were moving the ball well on that drive. Then on 2nd and 5 they call a play that takes a long time to develop? Tried to get cute and it probably cost them the game
Georgia adjusted fairly well to what Ohio St. was doing offensively during halftime. If you remember, they didn’t move the ball near as well in the 2nd half, as they did in the 1st half. It was a combination of a few things that cost them the game. Allowing Georgia to go on a 17-3 scoring run in the 4th quarter, was a lot more harmful than the play you’re referring to was.
That time out in the fake punt really for me. So good of a game. Ga played the best 4th qtr that could be played against an OSU QB that was unstoppable

@@rtanner7335the adjustment you’re talking about was just Harrison getting a concussion. Multiple time before he was hurt Georgia rushed two dropped nine (9!) on some pass plays, and after they could actually blitz without having someone get open

Mark Fennell. Georgia had one of the best defenses in the country and tOSU was able to put 41 points on them. Good offenses find a way to beat good defenses and vice versa. That’s just how it works sometimes.

Dont forget almost 50 to maryland. OSU defense was the worst I have ever seen this year. The only reason this game was even close was because Georgia tried to be cute the whole game with their fake ass QB. If Georgia never throws a pass in this game its 48 to 13. We did exactly the only thing we could do to allow OSU to stay in this game. Use a 5'10 2 star quarterback like he is a Stroud caliber player. We knew yall couldnt stop a run and we are the best running team in football..............yet we did not run. Dumb dumb dumb. At least it was exciting when it shouldnt have been.

Going back I was so out of my mind I never really paid attention that it was a 50 yard field goal. Not an easy feat either way, those are made like 43% of the time so it wasn't a guarantee if he kicked it straight anyway.
Bennett came through in the clutch for the Bulldogs and won the game with precision passing. Stroud had his chances, but failed to deliver. Great win for UGA and the SEC.

Great game, the secondary for Ohio state is bad. They need a secondary coach desperately. I also think the last two drives for Ohio state, questionable play calling. Stroud played his tail off.

I think OSU deserves a lot credit for coming to play, but I also think the layoff effected Georgia more. Not playing for almost a full month is hard to pickup where you left off. It took time for Georgia to shake off the rust but I don’t think this would have been as close a game without the layoff.
It wouldn't have been close at all if PAC 12 refs knew what offensive holding looked like.
I mean this argument doesn't really make any sense because Georgia played more recently than Ohio State had. If anything rust would have affected OSU.
