As a revert, I was watching videos about Islam, podcast of Aussies women, Spanish women, wenster women in general, the Ummah is so beautiful about it, the gathering about iftar, go to pray to the masjid,etc...but Idk why Arabs movies, this Turkish serie show the Islam in the bad way, like Muslims we do our best to show the Islam in different ways, but you (writers fo series and movies) don't help at all. Fi amani allah this Ramadan and don't believe what this series or Arabs movies show about the Ummah in general, obviously exceptions will be exist but it's not the rule. Take care

I was just thinking that as well!! It gives Islam a bad look and portrays it in a way that isn’t true. I’m fine with the story lines but keep Islam out of them. I think it’s because the creators don’t care and want to use religion to gain popularity and make an interesting show just for money. But it’s us Muslim’s job to not watch them and give them the attention. We should be focussing on the beautiful parts of our religion and there are so many. but unfortunately people don’t care

I dont think this serie captures the beauty of Islam, don't be taking it as a reference to the religion, not to ignore the fact that some of the issues and conflicts demonstrated are indeed present in our world.

Guys I’m not going to lie the translations here are not good. I’m guessing the editor is Turkish. I’m Australian with a Turkish background and I have yet to find a single platform that is accurately translating the dialogue here. Cüneyt is speaking in extremely complex Turkish which is why people are struggling with translating what he’s saying. I myself go through much difficulty trying to work my way around his metaphors. I hope we get an official English translation soon cause I feel like he is spitting bars over here (islamically) like it’s giving scholar. But yeah I’m loving the drama soo far can’t wait for you guys to be able to watch it with accurate subs soon!

well I watch it with Arabic subtitles which I think are more accurate than the English ones
I'm afraid this series will end badly, that Cüneyd will die in the end 😔, and Zeyneb will finally be free to finish her studies... The ideal ending for me is for Cüneyd and Zeyneb to both fight to change the condition of women in their village so that young girls can continue their education💪.

Guys, this Turkish drama is a strange and sad story where people living different lifestyles in our society are intertwined. Headliners Zeynep and Cüneyd. Cüneyd is in his twenties, had a difficult childhood and has OCD. Zeynep, on the other hand, is a 16-year-old very intelligent child who wants to get an education. But their families decided that the two should get married.. And the story intersects with different stories in which this marriage is at the center. It's a good drama

Hi there, as someone who lives in Turkey, it's not legal at all. While most of these kinda situations are no longer a problem in my country some families sadly may still go against the law and marry off their underage children. The legal age of being an adult is 18,everyone younger than 18 is considered minor/child and protected by the law. But like I said sadly some families do these kinda things secretly,they get charged with abuse if they get caught. Btw if you are talking about clothing and social interactions,this is not the case in my country. While religious people can wear modest clothes,others still can wear modern clothes if you have any misconception about that. In this series these people are like some kinda of a religious cult,not a dangerous one probs but still do things that are not accepted by the law and that is not suitable with modern lifestyle of my country. As someone who live in east Türkiye most of the time people who is underage or still very young 18,19 want to get married it's not forced İf they wanna get education their parents do what they can.but of course we have case like forced marriage. For clothes it's because has meaning of cultural or religious symbols and have nothing to do with modern world it's my thoughts of course The thing is religious cult can be very dangerous yeah.

If someone can summarise their story that would be great as i didn't get what is going on here.
He's 27 ( he was around 7 when his mother died)and mentally ill, she's 14 ( 28.10.2009, her ID was shown in ep2) . The positive thing is he can't touch her because of childhood trauma. The series isn't about the two of them. More about Cuneyd's psychiatrist and his secular family,on one side, and religious sect of Cuneyd and their customs and behaviour.
Someone else said he in his early 20s and she's 16 y/o. Which one guys? 🤔
His mother died in 2004, he was around 7. Zeynep's id was shown in ep2 ( 28.10.2009).
