thank you for not gatekeeping and being open, im starting to get into cinematic videos for my car and this video gave me GREAT knowledge to get started!
Never understood gate keeping honestly. Plenty of work out there for everyone! I hope you can use these settings and make the best of it! Tag me in your videos!
Such an informative video! Straight to the point and no nonsense!
Glad I could help!
thank you so much for your video. great value
You're very welcome! If you have any further questions don't be afraid to reach out via email or instagram!
Awesome settings. I already see a difference with my Osmo thanks to this.
Great to hear! I'll be dropping a few more videos showing when and where to use the different settings!
Very nice and very professional
Thank you very much!
Magic table …. I like it
Haha, nothing beats the old wayfair table
Nice, just subscribed. Like the no nonsense straight to the point settings, especially low light mode settings. Would be nice to see some more of your footage.👍
Thank you! I’ll be posting more content with the osmo in the coming weeks. A lot of messing around with the camera at the moment to get it all right!
@@erikduijsens I've only recently got mine so will be good to see what can be done with it.
You're going to love it honestly. I haven't gone a full day where i film strictly on the osmo pocket yet but i plan to soon!
Nice bro! The right settings will always get you great footage
You are the man who brought these settings to life!
Thank you! Some useful info!
Thank you for watching!
Great tips! Look forward to trying these out 👍🏽
Glad you like them! Let me know if you find something new out with the OP3!
Hi there great video, I have a question can I still use these settings and get results if I shoot in normal mode ? I don’t have no filters yet. I do have a black mist filter would that work in d log ?
Great question, so unfortunately unless you're shooting in a rather dark area if you use these settings you're footage will be over exposed and as we all know its almost impossible to bring back blown out highlights especially on this camera. The blast mist filter really gives you that "glow" effect and wouldn't assist in bringing down the exposures. I would shoot in auto for now. You will lose the blur effects at 24fps and it would look choppy if you slow it down at 60fps since the OP3 will try to compensate for the exposure while bumping up your shutter speed.
I watched hundreds of videos about best Pocket 3 settings but this ist the first one somebody recommend ISO 100. All other are ISO 50-1600. I tried both but I think ISO 100 ist too dark if I use an ND Filter (I need it for the bleur effect).
It all comes down to preference. I come from a Sony background so slog is at 800 iso for me. Messing around with the osmo it seemed better at 100.
question for the audio,. ive heard that when using internal recording, the audio gets blown out alot (no room for adjusting gain) how can that be compensated ? thank you.
great question, I am not 100% sure that is true. I am by no means a professional audio editor but I use the internal recording quite often since vehicles tend to be at a greater distance than the bluetooth has reach.
hi master, i wanna ask something, which do you use mid day nd256 or nd1000 ? for dop3 i cant record background bokeh, I don't have any knowledge about making d-log or color and luts, so i make it normal, can i use all settings normal with nd 256 or 1000 ?
How's it going, I wouldn't know how to answer that as the highest NDs I use are ND64. As far as d-log it gets thrown a lot on youtube but if you're not looking to colorgrade the colors from the OP3 look great in the standard grades. But to your original question ND 64 does a good enough job for me mid day
thank you much sir.@@erikduijsens
Not a problem! Any questions you have feel free to reach out!
Is that possible to change the F stops in Pocket 3?
you're only able to change shutter and iso.
