Sean Sherk and Jon Jones are the only ones that come to mind and both had immediate title shots(Jon first had an interim shot only because DC was injured). TJ shouldn’t, but I won’t be surprised if he does get one. I’d personally love TJ to fight Sandhagen for the winner of Yan/Aljo. TJ/Aldo would be fine too. I feel Aldo is the fight that will happen if they don’t just give him the title shot.

    • That’s not true at all. He’s been an established pro long before his first loss to Conor. He dropped at couple at 145. Due to weight issues. You can’t say he’s a constant huge underdog. Khabib he was. Conor he was and lost. Won the rematch and he will be the favorite in this. Lost fights he was favored won fights he was a dog. Just like every fighter ever but a handful.

  • Mixedmollywhoppery is fine art my friend. One of the greatest aspects of the art of fighting is watching the evolution of the fighters thru the ranks......how many times has a fighter won me over as an artist as a preformer with the depth of his character. It is why I am a fan of this art. ..mixedmolly....tells their stories....their fights in such a way you fall in love with them....there’s nothing better than art. Thank you for sharing your art mixedmollywhoppery! It’s the best!!!

  • Man, I LOVE your videos from every angle. You do your homework, fantastic editing, REAL, deep, objective analysis, with plenty of context instead of shallow hot takes, never condescending nor insulting your viewers’ intelligence, and of course your accent that makes you sound like the most inside sports handicapper ever, like Jimmy the Greek crossed with DeNiro in Casino. (I un-ironically love your accent and wish it was mine!) for what it’s worth, I didn’t even find MMA that interesting until I came across your videos so Thank you man!

    @michaelsize@michaelsize3 жыл бұрын
  • Okay that was an amazing edit. You focused on all the parts and importance that NO other outlet has. You've just got yourself a new subscriber. I loved how you touched on the importance of how someone handles losing. Self growth, perseverance, the nonsense of the media headlines, and most of all just the belief in both of these two individuals future. I can't tell you how many stupid things i've seen where they say they believe that Conor can't ever bounce back from this or get better unless he becomes a maniac again and its like no. No, someone can evolve and mature from that phase in their life and still transfer that talent they had but just approach it and express things in a new way. I hope that both these guys stay active, i wanna see a bunch of fights from conor and dustin deserves a title fight very soon. It's crazy how Khabib retirement messed up the division so much because of how Dana white has chosen to go about fights since Khabib left. Its like he's not set another title fight up since then because he's hoping he will come back but i personally think he should get a title fight for the other guys right away and if at any point khabib wants to say hey, i wanna jump back in for a belt fight, then just let him jump in. I can't believe the belt has been in limbo for this long, it just seems like it should of transferred to a active fighter by now through a title fight. IDK hopefully they figure that out soon. Last thing: I wanna see Conor's Karate come full circle. Bring in a Karate coach to add and Let go of the heavy flat footed boxing style thats not hyper illusive and not working, clearly, get back to karate where you started from and create this awesome full circle story in his career. Remember when he would do those quick side stance straight kicks to the body or thighs of people to keep them at distance, he would kick in so many ways and angles and was just so active and hyper in the ring that you couldn't even blink because he would be on the other side of the ring if you did blink. Honestly even if Conor ever wanted his career to transfer over to boxing years from now. I feel like he would be way way way more successful as a boxer if he completely threw out the window the style he used against floyd or dustin and then boxed with a total unorthodox style. jumping all around, in and out, hands low sometimes, getting crazy angles, doing alot of distraction movements, shooting with corkscrew uppercuts, putting your lead hand out in front of you to measure and throw off the opponent. That is where i believe Conor could make a amazing boxer. I was shocked to see him EVER let go of his original fighting style.... It was so unorthodox and it worked SO WELL. Why would you ever change that...... He needs new coaches around or his current coaches to strictly focus on that and getting back to his roots of karate that worked so well. He was like a stylebender in a way and idk why anyone would ever come in and change that. That form of conor fighting could beat almost anyone and he would of destroyed floyd if he fought like that but it was too late because people around him were ingraining so much change into him and becoming so much more fundamental and orthodox and by the book type of fighter and it is so obvious that it doesnt and hasn't worked. But i believe conor will take this loss and use it as a tool to learn from that he had to break these bad habits and get back to his true talent.
