Knockouts are one of the most exciting parts of boxing. You never can tell when one is going to happen. One moment a fighter is up and the next they are down on the canvas because of a perfectly timed punch.

  • Iron Mike took twenty years off Marvis' life with those bombs... Life altering damage right there. On another note, I watched that Jimmy Thunder KO when it happened as a high school kid. Blew me away, although nowhere nearly as badly as the poor flattop fella.

  • A very good list but you have to add Juan Meza vs Jaime Garcia. Unlike any of these, it was a three minute Championship war! Also, while most of these were clean, I don't like the stoppage of Mares against Gonzalez. It was a championship fight at the END of the round. Give a Champion a chance to get up at least. It may have changed nothing but he has the right to at least have another chance.

    • Lewis jabbed at Grant only for him to duck under the shot. Lewis just kept his hand in place to get the uppercut off and keep himself balanced. Had Lewis grabbed at Grant and forced him down there, you'd have a point. But that didn't happen.

Just because Lewis' hand stayed after missing the jab, it doesn't mean he held him down. Grant got down there of his own movements.   • Not sure if the narrator actually follows boxing, some of the comments make it seem suspect. One good example is when introducing the Wilder fight, he described Wilder as a big puncher that knocked out almost all of his opponents. The problem with that statement was Wilder's record was shown as 28-0 with 28 knockouts, where does almost come in?

    • His record at the time of the match isn't relevant, the video was talking about him in general. He'd lost and drawn all his fights with Fury by the time the video was made. Several fighters also retired rather than being knocked out.

  • Boxing is definitely a more civilized form of fighting. As brutal as these KO's are the winner often holds their punches after delivering that fight ending blow. Even the unanswered punches and beat downs like the Morrison fight have a compassion not seen in MMA where it is legal and right to kick a man when he's down. Don't get me wrong. I am a MMA fan. but just saying.
