I just found this song and I am in love! I started crying ... can’t understand what he’s singing but I FEEL it. Somewhere depths of my soul my spirit needed this. I can’t help but think about all of the African’s that were a part of the Trans-Atlantic slave trade. These feelings run through our DNA and I don’t know what part of myself this touched but again I needed it. ❤️

The daughter he speaks of in the song is assumed to be Angola it self. Even though I don't understand a word this song is one of the most powerful protest songs I've ever heard.

@@dimif5216 Bonga fled Angola due to civil unrest and corrupt government. He recorded this album in a studio in the Netherlands to protest everything going on in his homeland. The daughter he speaks of in the song is assumed to be Angola it self. Even though I don't understand a word this song is one of the most powerful protest songs I've ever heard.
@@Sam-gp1nm we still strugling against the same corrupt government ever our beautiful Angola has a lot to tell, we got talented people and 80% of them still young the country is very rich in many aspects. Bonga still keeps is tradicional way of doing Angola music witch inspire us all.

Mona Ki Ngi Xica es una pieza grabada en 1972 por la que sufrió arresto domiciliario, habla de los hijos de los africanos que son perseguidos y es una de las piezas más significativas del artista
