Thanks for answering my question about Handouts ! And yes, you're right, being able to also present NPCs to all players at the same time would be a great addition !
I look forward to these updates every week. More than anything else they create the most excitement about Alchemy for me. The system builder is the main reason I backed Alchemy. I'm happy to see the character sheet progress, thanks for that.
I'm so excited to see Zen mode and the character builder! Excited for the organization even if it's a small step. I'll be pumped once you guys implement folders and sub folders. It'll just make life so much more simple. Keep up the great work! 🎉

Could you explain your process for this? Very interested in using Alchemy in person but until now have been waiting for Streamer Mode
@@taco.tavern Absolutely. are you on the alchemy discord? I can be more detailed and share pictures as well there. The reply section here is a bit limited. I have been using Alchemy before zen mode in person and it worked ok but my players could see more than I wanted them to at times. Now with Zen mode I can control what they see a bit more.

I haven't checked super recently, but handouts did feel a bit slow and clunky with how to assign them to people. With some they can be done before game. But others depend on which player might pick something up. It felt slow assigning it during play
I know it is early to ask but once the character Sheet upgrade will be live what will happen to the character Sheet we already prepared ? Will we just be able to adapt the block or will we have to start again ? I can't wait... the system builder is everything I need and wait for... thanks for the good work !
Let's say I play in person and connect a laptop to a tabletop screen. What's the intended method for using Zen Mode? Do I open another instance of Alchemy on a user account and have that on the screen? I think the reason I was waiting for Streamer Mode primarily was being able to cast to a second screen. I think the handout popup feature would also be extremely useful for streamer/zen mode - so viewers can see whatever handouts without having access to controls. Super exciting! Thanks for the update! 🤔
Always love your updates, Isaac. I think I know the answer, but does everyone need to toggle zen mode on their own? Meaning, the GM can't "force" zen mode on the players, correct? I think that is how all the views work in Alchemy but wanted to confirm. Keep up the great work!
Correct! Zen mode, like all other views, is up to the user to enable/toggle 💯
