Two Latino Polyglots Went To Chinatown… THIS Happened…
My friend Brian (Argentinian Food Vlogger in China) came to visit DC! I guess we both qualify as polyglots and speak 4 of the same languages, so we decided to go out in Rockville, i.e. the largest “Chinatown” in Washington, D.C. to make some friends. I’m not really sure what we qualify as? Latinos speaking Chinese? White guys speaking Chinese? Anyway, I had to run some errands and we had a great a chat where we surprised the people working there and they had some funny reactions!
I love learning foreign languages because you get to meet and have conversations with people in a way that you probably never would otherwise. So if you’re looking to learn Chinese or any other language, definitely do it!
Also, Brian and I went to try Chinese cupping! If this video gets 15,000 likes, we’ll through it up here and you’ll get to see a sexy Brian without his shirt on!

Everybody surprised about Brian's Chinese, yet nobody compliments how great he speaks English and he didn't grow up in the U.S!
Pokarface7 Chinese is harder than English that’s why
@@evelyn_hdez3695 Yep. Argentinians speak english tambien. Chinese will proabbly take a spanish speaker 3x the time to learn than english
@Albert Mora The only Latin Americans that might be able to speak english are those who have the means to have private english classes. The rest of the people are given public english classes, and well, we know how "good" those classes are. So, you are correct. I would even venture to say, as an Argentinian, that most of us speak more portuguese rather than english. Of course, that last sentence is my opinion and personal experience; I don't have any facts for that.
that's very common because other countries are saturated with american film and television.
@@pianosonata5029 Not necessarily. I reached C1 in English a few years ago, mostly by watching series, YT and reading a bunch of literature and articles. You don't need private lessons to become fluent in any language, if you have an internet connection it's just a matter of motivation.
Crazy how Brian has such a natural American accent when it's his first time in the U.S
Yeah, Brian speaks really bomb English for having only lived in Australia for some time. The rest has been spent in non-English speaking countries. (also he's never actually taken English classes!)
Yeah he sounds like he's from Cali, pretty spot on
NEON KUE his Mandarin pronunciation is pretty good as well.

as soon as they spoke chinese everyone became friendly like catching up with old friends

"In America, the rich aren't fat. The poor people are fat."
the poor are fat because they cannot afford better foods, so they eat cheap foods like pastas and high carb foods
Much the same in other western countries , crap food is cheap .
Wouldn’t necessarily agree with this at all. I know rich Americans that are equally fat and skinny. As for poor, I’d say the same. I can’t think of a single obese homeless person that I’ve seen..
It's not that they can't afford better food. It's because they have too much time on their hands and they eat out of boredom. Many of them do not work and some are too big and fat to work. So, they eat all day
John Doe Yep. Costs less to feed your family with fast food and prepared/processed stuff full of sugar and crap than to buy decent fresh things.

Yep, I confirm. We basically have the same linguistic roots, so to us italians learning spanish is actually among the easiest ones, mainly because we share same grammar structures and many words too.
The European emigration to Argentina was in 19th century, the most were italian and spanish
If you speak Spanish, without studying Portuguese at all, you can understand more Brazilian Portuguese than italian. It can take you less than 6 months to learn Portuguese, I did it. I haven't tried learning Italian
Im argentinian with an italian passport, AND even though i have never studied italian or portuguese ( i only studied english) i can read those two languages and understand at least a 80% of the content.
