It makes me so excited everytime I see you come to Cornwall (local here 🤙🏼👋🏼) but have a look into the campaign First Not Second Homes. Locals in need are really struggling to find places to live because of the second homes that are bought up by out of towners. We love the tourists, they’re what the county is sustained by, but we really need to get the word out about the housing struggle we’re dealing with. Thrilled for you to be looking at Manchester again, what an exciting next step for you all!! Best of luck with the process, can’t wait to watch and see! 🤩♥️

Cardiff is similar to Manchester in the way it also only takes 20 mins to walk to one side of the city centre to the next. I've been living in London for 5 years now though and I still love it, but sometimes I do miss Cardiff cos of how close everything is to each other.

Lovely that you are coming back home! Sure you have already got this on your radar but so many cladding issues with apartment buildings in MCR, even old mills/character properties. As a lesson learnt make sure you check that out before you buy, would hate for you to end up in a heartbreaking issue like so many of us ❤️
Be careful, a lot of councils are looking to introduce (or have already) a council tax premium on second properties, some between 100 and 200 percent. This is to discourage second home purchasing, which is causing housing issues in many areas. There’s also a 3 percent surcharge on stamp duty for second homes.
Spent years living in London and then in south west (Bournemouth and Southampton) and I just moved to Manchester (MediaCity), I absolutely love it! I agree it’s a much better version of London. It’s brilliant. Welcome back!

So pleased you are working with Kimpton (IHG)! We have been staying in Kimptons in the US for over 10 years. They are our preferred hotel and we look for them in whatever city we are visiting. Such unique properties ( in NYC they converted a print factory, in Chicago, a bank, in Philadelphia, a warehouse) Each is unique, the restaurants are great and the decor is brilliant. They are the BEST!

I don’t know why but it thrills me beyond measure that you are moving back to the North. I’m from the North and absolutely love it; we have vibrant cities and beautiful countryside and yet I feel that our city and landscapes are often dismissed or considered lesser than other areas of the UK - I’m not denigrating any other region, they are beautiful too!
You should add straighteners to the room! The amount of times I have forgotten my straighteners and the hotel doesn’t have any you can borrow! My hair is a frizzy mess the entire trip 😂
Manchester has a vibe very similar to Glasgow I was struck by how stylish people are . It must be good as a place for weekends too with the rail links.

One question … what is the round thing you were using to take off yours make up? Do you have a link? Also … the best way to get all of the cleanser out of the tube is to cut off the “closed” end and that will give you access to whatever is left inside. Congratulations on your IHG suite! Congratulations on so much... hotel guesting like Victoria is brilliant! So many great extras! How exciting! Investing in real estate is generally a fantastic idea! Having it work for you and earn a bit is certainly a bonus. My sister and brother-in-law have a lake house 5 hours away from their home that they used to have on a vacation rental plan. They visited frequently and kept two closets with locks on for their personal possessions, making their trips to stay much more convenient. Having a property in Manchester, near family and friends, seems ideal for you and Alex... and those wanting to visit Manchester! Just be prepared to have extras of things as they will get broken or lost and need replacing! A small inconvenience for getting your mortgage paid on a B&B type situation! 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Having someone manage the rental/maid service/laundry/maintenance is strongly advised, especially if not in close proximity to your home. 😉😊😁 Loved seeing everyone dressed to the nines at the V&R event! I love those times where you can get all decked out and feel so gloriously glamorous! Most of our world seems more casual and fancy occasions seem fewer and far between! Thank you for making those occasions a fairly regular occurrence! It’s such a joy to live vicariously through you and see such beauty! 😍😍😍 Helpful Hint: If you layer your fragrance with the matching cream/lotion, the fragrance may last better for you. Using an unscented cream may also be your friend in helping your scent to last better and easier to keep track of rather than a separate matching cream for every single fragrance. 🥰
