It's going to be expensive to work with professionals who know how to get it done right, so I'm reviewing my options for how to fund the project.

I submitted my interest! Your videos have gotten me through my whole first year of having a baby. Even when she slept in the same room with me, the littlest move she made would wake me up, so being able to have your brown noise on in the background to help me sleep (and still hear if she wakes up) has been a life saver. I also put it in her stroller on the go if she’s trying to nap while we’re out and about. I’m extremely grateful for the reliability of your channel and your livestreams. I would definitely say the headphones would be cool for me, but I’ve been wanting to try heated and weighted blankets as well. Not sure if I know enough about the task tracker idea to say whether or not I find it interesting.
Light sleeper, huh? I'm glad the brown noise has been helping you out - I know the first year in particular is friggin' exhausting. It's still so crazy to me that these things I've been uploading have helped so many people in such awesome and unexpected ways. Thank you for sharing that with me. 😁 It's frustrating I can only start with one product idea, right? I just don't have the capital to blast a whole things out all at once. 😂 Maybe someday! That would be so cool... Anyway, the task tracker idea is pretty straightforward: you're able to put together a to-do list, but to make it more fun, marking something off the list might give some kind of stim (like a fun click), and we'd sell little icon/emoji tokens you could use to represent the tasks and go next to whatever you write in. I love labeling stuff like that, so I thought it would be a nice touch. Maybe that will appeal to other people, maybe not - guess we'll find out!
The headbands are a good idea i keep breaking my headphones from sleeping on them 💀
Yeah, a number of things can go wrong with regular headphones in bed. Definitely worth consideration! 🤔
love your stuff! you have the perfect voice for book readings. "bedtime stories" could be a nice addition to your channel.

Oh sooo excited I’m a big fan a blankets especially throws, I collect them. A big comfy throw that says,”black blanket, 12 hours, no ads” I can see it now!!!😅😅
Chances are that if we go the blanket route, they won't have that design on them... hope that's not a big disappointment. 😂 This is different from a traditional merch kind of thing (which, speaking of, I really need to come up with new merch).

@@Brandonrouthsniece94 I probably won't straight up retire it, but you'll probably only ever see it on merch (you know - T-shirts, mugs, that kind of thing) and not on a product that I'm going to invest thousands of dollars in for development and manufacturing. But hey, if there's demand, who knows? 🤷♂
My husband swears by his headband speakers and when walking around the house, he keeps them around his head like a bandana. Lol.

I like the opportunity to be a subscriber investor, and the task tracker idea best. Maybe portable and multi-level (day/week/month; tasks/health goals; and grocery list all together). There’s a huge glut of blankets on the market. I’ve seen the Bluetooth headband on Amazon… How exciting!
It is a cool opportunity! I haven't seen anything quite like this before, which is what caught my interest. Would be very cool if we're able to move forward with it. 🙂 The first iteration of the tracker probably wouldn't be that sophisticated (every neat feature I want is going to cost that much more to design and manufacture), but I'm definitely open to hearing more from everyone before we get down to business. Plenty of time before then. Great ideas! 💡

I just almost wasted money on a so-called great mask to sleep, which has sounds to help you sleep. it wasn't cheap, but also not the 300-400 dollar level. anyways, i already returned it to amazon without even trying it out for a night, because it was disappointing! It didnt mask anything. The volume was awful and basically customer service was a voicemail saying they'll you call back later. SAD. I mainly wanted it to drown out the garbage trucks in early morning, 2 days a week. also to help me drift off other times. there's a lot to think about with sleep devices. one review of a different sleep mask (cheaper one) was, the thing has poor battery life, then beeps loudly with a "battery low" alert while you have finally drifted off.. so gotta see.
Hmm. I wonder if maybe they would have been better off not saying it would mask everything, but that it simply WAS a mask. They didn't manage expectations very well. You're right - there are a lot of considerations with a product like that.
Awesome that you're branching out. You're plan is a good one. I'm just not that interested in the products you're planning.
That's fair! My audience is an interesting and quite varied group, so it's difficult to come up with the "perfect" starting product. These are what made the most sense when all factors were considered.
