The amount of guns that you guys are able to fish out of that river is starting to be suspicious 😂😂
We we have found them in three different rivers but, I'm sure something shady has happened with a couple of them. thanks for watching
It's free
@@argiewithagun1286 i agree.
this one seems like somebody had accidentally dropped it in there and it was probably just one of those guns that most gun owners have that they used to test new ammo in in case it breaks a gun they don't want broken due to the duct tape the poor condition of it and the fact that they didn't care enough to fish it out
Suspicious. Sounds like you have found somebody's dumping ground. They steal it; use it in a crime and dump it in a river where they think nobody will find it. Keep up the good work guys.
Amazing job, guys! I really appreciate the fact that you are so thorough and your eye for detail. Looking forward to your next video 👍🏻
thank you Christian for being so nice with your comment!
Cool wall hanger.
Yeah it’s a very cool wall hanger and for it to be that old is just really cool to me thank you for watching

Thanks buddy! Ya it was a process, thanks for watching and commenting!
Congrats on the cool gun guys. Glad you got to keep it. Then restore it to that wow it’s awesome.
thank you hannah it was a fun process!
Nicely done. I'm working on a few restoration videos of some of my own magnet fishing finds as well!

Great restoration guys. I really like it. Cannot wait to see the next one.

Great restoration, must feel good to restore a magnet fishing treasure. Super eye for assembly details and ya don't have to "fight the law" cause ya asked the Sheriff - get the pun? 😁😁
thanks for watching very much!
I need to go magnet fishing right now
Yes you do it is a blast
Hi guys....great restoration, I enjoyed watching that....looking forward to more videos...Take care...stay safe...

Looks really good nice job restoring it.
Thank you! Cheers!
Holy cow this was a great video I enjoyed it. Thanks bro’s n
yea it was a cool video but not many views its weird i guess.
Oh wow this looks amazing very nice work guys. 🔫
we appreciate you commenting and watching
Great job!! Looks fantastic!!! 😃
Thank you!! 😊
Looks great. Love that you restore history.
we love doing stuff like this we have one more gun to restore!
I'll look forward to watching that one as well. My husband and me restore metal lathes ans stationary gas engines. Most people just sell ruted up stuff for scrap. I bought a 1200 lb single sided Brute magnet for myself for Christmas. Waiting for water to unfreeze so we can begin a new hobby. Keep up the good work.
Restoration 7/10
Thank You Seba me
Another great vid! Although it was pretty beat up, it breathes again! Great job on this one!
Thank you very much I appreciate it!
WONDERFUL WOW!
thanks Robin
Awesome job guys!...and I hope you patriots are prepped as well!
yes of course we are thanks for watching Mark
Good job gentleman.
thanks Don the next restoration is the Ruger!
You guys need to invest in some evaporust. Awesome stuff.
I have actually used of apple rust numerous times I actually just got done trying to use it on a handgun that I found but it’s not cutting it so I am going to be doing electrolysis on this one
Great work guys, I hope it comes more from you
Yes we have another restorations going on right now. A 100 year old shotgun we found
Next time try soaking all rusty metal parts in Brake Fluid. Let it soak for 10days to 2 weeks and all rust will be gone. Works great.
sounds like a good idea thank you
Greetings from Arlington Texas. GUYS that was impressive. Wow didn't know you could do that to that gun. Great job. Great video too. Can't wait to see more of your work.
Wow thanks so much for the flattering comment, also thanks for watching. I do no know if you have commented before but on this channel everyone that comments gets a response back. That is our philosophy
@@TheKinzlerBros I watch everything. I always start with greetings from Arlington Texas. You'll know me now. Thanks for the great videos.
Super!!! 👍👍👍
Thank you! Thanks for watching
Yay! You know these are my favorite!!! 😁😁😁😁
We are happy to hear it, thanks for watching Debbie!
Beautiful work great piece of gun history in my opinion because if that gun could tell a story who knows what it would say and yeah that is a legal way of keeping the gun is taking the firing pin out or cutting it great work it's going to look awesome in display if I ever find something like that I would definitely do stuff similar to what y'all did keep up the good work
thank you very much Tristan
@@TheKinzlerBros no problem and I love the new foregrip I think it makes it look even more badass you should really make some dummy shells to fit into it to see if it still ejects
Nice job guys!😊
thanks Hubert we enjoyed cleaning it up!
Nice job. Looks great.
well thanks for watching Steven.
You did an amazing job!
Thanks Dawn, cant wait to do the next one
Nice job with the clean up.
well thanks so much Kathy we have one more restoration to do still coming up and that is the really nice gun!
Nice. I'd weld over the firing pin hole on the breech face too, just so a new firing pin couldn't be installed.
Yes exactly great idea and I welded the barrel to the receiver but still could do that well not really because I can’t get in there
Pretty cool! First time of the two times we ever went magnet fishing my son pulled a sawed off gun out of the river. It was in pretty bad shape.
oh really did you just throw it away?
@@TheKinzlerBros No. He took it home with him.
Good job boys!😊
thanks Mar-bee
Great job,looks good
Well we appreciate you watching Frankie!
Looks awesome!! Awesome restoration 😎 You need a bench grinder with a wire wheel 💪🏼
yes we are working on building a work table in our garage, we just moved into this house and need to build one so we can do this outside. Thanks for watching!
Great job really interesting
thank you Julie very much!
Dismantling the gun like a gunsmith, there is more to you guys than you let on! Amazing job, look forward to the next one. Stay safe boys.
yea well we try but we are not gunsmiths by a longshot. But thank you for saying that.
thats one of the simplest gun types to take apart and stuff like that its just a break action shotgun
I've made firing pins identical to that one, to fit various other shotguns. It's a cinch. Give me a couple of files, hacksaw, and an electric drill for a lathe, vice, and an old bolt. Also, a propane torch for heat treating. Takes maybe 45 minutes, if that.
I know I agree with you but if I have it welded closed it makes it a little harder to swap out the pins.
Sounds like you would need quite a few things and significant time with it alone to get it working again. thanks for watching
looking at the before pic's, who knew there was a diamond under all that muck, great vid .
Thank you for watching and bonus points for commenting!
Awesome video great job guy's Amazing restoration process very fun to watch! Thanks for sharing 👍 🧲🧲
well thank Brockton for watching i hope you did enjoy it!
@@TheKinzlerBros I absolutely did! Awesome job!
The restoration picture looks amazing! I imagine the barrel lining is shot though. Good job bros~!~
well you will have to wait and see, thanks for commenting already!
@@TheKinzlerBros I would strongly suggest you read ATF Rule 2011-4. Note, "Held,a firearm, as defined by the National Firearms Act (NFA), 26 U.S.C. 5845(a)(3), is made when unassembled parts are placed in close proximity in such a way that they: (a)Serve no useful purpose other than to make a rifle having a barrel or barrels of less than 16 inches in length(e.g., a receiver, an attachable shoulder stock, and barrel of less than 16 inches in length);" Just having the unassembled parts in close proximity is defined as a firearm. Cutting the firing pin off does not make this exempt from this rule, because it can be replaced in a mere 2 minutes. Why on earth would you risk a felony for a stupid KZhead video? Throw that piece of crap back into the river like the idiot who made it.
@@chkohl1919 the ATF is a joke. they shoots dogs and sell weapons to drug cartels
@@chkohl1919 you can have a shotgun with a barrel under 18 inches as long as its "not intended to be fired from the shoulder" as is the case with the Mossberg 590 shockwave. it came from the factory without a butt stock and with a 14 inch barrel making it not a shot gun or rifle. legally its a non NFA item and unregulated.
@@lev_iothon The shockwave is manufactured that way and the overall length is over 26". There's also a number of pistols that shoot 410 rounds. The difference with this firearm is that it was clearly modified. There's a big difference between a large manufacturer producing barely legal guns that push the letter of the law, and a gun that literally had a hacksaw taken to it. It's a dumb law, but it's still a felony.
I am just now completing a restoration on an old H&R 20 ga. single shot. Mine wasn't as rusty as yours but it did have some serious rust scabs on it along with some sort of glue that once held some plastic front and rear sights. The stock and forearm had several dents and scratches as it was used for hunting for many years. People usually don't take care of a single shot, they use and abuse them. I used a orbital sander on the barrel to remove the rust, then a buffing wheel and a polishing wheel. I blued the barrel which turned out very nice. and I sanded the stock and forearm until they were baby butt smooth. Re-stained (red mahogany) them and finished them with a satin finish. I must say, it turned out very nice and I'm going to keep it. I love single shot shotguns. The simplicity of them make them a cheap gun to purchase and usually there is never any thing wrong with the works of the gun, just have to make them look like new.
That is awesome and it sounds like you did a great job restoring it the right way,, we appreciate the comment and feedback. thanks for watching Gene
THAT shotgun looks like from team fortess 2 omg
I do not know if that’s a game or or what but thank you for watching much appreciated Mikail yeah
Great job guys!!! Pretty amazing to see it basically transformed back to what it looked like before thrown into river. Thanks for sharing. Looking forward to the next video. Stay safe!!!
Thanks so much Diana, yea it looks pretty good, would have been better if it was blued but i did not want to learn how to do that on this gun. the next one we will re blue!
Отличная работа. Удачи!
Thank you for watching we appreciate it
Saw a video where the restorer made a diy sand blaster with 20 0unce soda bottle and air compressor. It would save u tons of time. Great videos. Td
“Today, on another Discarded Murder Weapon Restoration…”
Thanks for watching
Very ice job 👌 👏 👍
Thank you very much
Great job!!
well thank you very much Marilyn we spent a lot of time on this one!
Awesome job
Thanks!
Can't really call it a restoration when you have permanently decommissioned it when y'all chopped the firing pin....
That's what was required by the sheriffs department. thanks for watching
@@TheKinzlerBros I get that, but it's not as difficult as you think to get a form 1 to register an SBS. I would have loved to see that functional. In the future, if you run into a firearm like that, before you restore it Form 1 it. Cuz that shorty is gorgeous. Seeing it permanently disabled is so sad
@@rustyshackleford8637 It has so much rust damage it's probably too weakened to be fired anyway. I know I wouldn't feel safe firing it.
Oh no... that part could never be fabricated.
@@rustyshackleford8637 it's so rusty the barrel is quite ruined,i would buy a brand new single shot shotgun and chop it up if you want a short barrel shotgun
Good job
Thanks so much Roberta!
Great Work
Thanks
I'm new to your site. I love this video. Thank you
Well that is just AWESOME thanks Melissa i hope you watch more of our videos. Welcome to our channel
The evaporust works really well I use it for everything that might be a little rusty or horrible
Ya we have used it before, thanks for watching
Lol nice shoes dude.
Thank you and thanks for watching
Shotgun found in river within throwing distance from the road… you just found evidence my friend 🤣
Possibly but no way to run ballistics sense shotguns do not have rifling also I did run the serial number through the police database came up with nothing and what else can you do unless there was first hand account of a crime being committed that has a description of the firearm to be specific enough to identify as the shotgun thanks for watching
Me encanta tu trabajo saludos desde colombia 👍en mi país lo llamamos changon buen trabajo .
I do not speak this language but thanks for watching
Nice job!
Thanks Myssi!
All good thing takes time
i know right it looked great we are working on the ruger now.
Killer job guys. It looks great! Also I'm going to try using Works on some stuff now 🤔
thanks Aaron, we use the works a lot and it usually pays off.
@@TheKinzlerBros Heck yeah I'm definitely going to try it
Cool sheriff tbh
Oh yea for sure he was really nice.
Great video!
thank you Becca for commenting!
Good job on the gun guy's
thanks Curt for watching!
Pretty cool to watch you guy's way of doing this stuff. Try Winks maybe, or of course electro-whatever.
yea Electrolysis is the way to go i hear but we have not tried it at all much!
Just subbed. incredible restoration
Thanks, we appreciate that!
I've use The Works for rust removal inside motorcycle gas tanks. It works really well.
Ya it will eat a lot of gunk off of anything, thanks for watching
Amazing. The Forearm stock could have been shaved down a bit but incredible work nonetheless
Yes it could have been but I liked putting a bigger one on as well
Good job 👍
thank you Nick hope so see your comments again.
Nicest
yea it does look pretty nice now but it cant fire!
Awesome! 😊👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🔰
Thanks
Klasse 👍 👍 👍
Thank you so much for watching man Manfred
Wire brush? I’m glad your time is spent on junk. What your doing won’t kill rust.
Thanks for the tip and for watching!
Can I just say that you've got beautifully manicured nails/hands, especially considering all the work you do!! I enjoy your videos and like it when we get to see your face and hear you explaining the process (as opposed to just a silent, text filled video). Keep up the great work!! 👍♥️
Well most of the restoration videos are just hands no talking text and that’s it I don’t like doing videos that way I like to talk some and be a little bit in front of the camera but they don’t tend to do very well for views so I’ve done some both ways and thank you for the compliment
great restore broz ;) ill watch the live ;)
are you saying to want us to do a live? anyway thanks for commenting!
@@TheKinzlerBros yes do live when you restore ;) and il lbe there ;) when you make an video as Premier, its are same as live, and you can be in chat and talk and answer if some make question ;) ;)
you really so professionals
We always comment back to everyone haha
Cool video!
thanks Pete that is nice to hear from you!
Sooner or later, you might want to get a couple of bench blocks and a bench grinder with a carding wheel for cleaning. Also some Evaporust. Great job.
Ya for sure, we are accumulating tools everyday its seems,, thanks for watching
Awesome nice content 👍👍👍
Thanks for saying thay i hope you enjoyed it as well!
As long as the length of the smooth bore barrel is at least 16" long from the edge of the chamber to the end of the muzzle, it is totally legal to not only own, but fire as well. And I have to say it looks at least that long. And if there is actual rifling inside the barrel, than any length of barrel is legal. Those are the ATF rules and laws. JMHO
Thanks for the info, much appreciated and thanks for watching
That’s not right. 18.5” barrel for smooth bore over all 26”
Nope, for shotguns according to NFA 18”. Most bright people cut them 1/2” long to prevent any borderline disputes.
Doesn't it have to be like that from the factory? (ex. Mossberg shockwave), and if you cut it yourself it turns into an sbs? I could be wrong
For a shotgun the barrel has to be 18 inches and if not it is an NFA violation and considered a short barreled shotgun and a Felony to possess.
Amazing restoration work!! Very impressed !!! Stay warm and safe. ❤
that dang kitty on your profile pic always gets me!
This would be great to take to a gun buy back
well idk it is not legal but i do not remember how those worked
