I have to say. I don’t know any of ya personally… lol but I have to share this. My husband and I moved to a new state (Florida) from NY big change. Got a new job, new house… and our first year in our relationship was terrible!!!! But we made it through and we found each others love again. Trust the process. Gods plan never fails! ❤

I'm so glad you guys are staying in Texas. You just really need to let the new places settle in and get to know the area. Building memories makes a place a home! Getting involved in the community allows you to get to know people and then have playdates! There are a ton of beautiful campgrounds in Texas that look like a lot of fun!
We moved from CA to Texas, right before the pandemic. It was ROUGH. We said we were moving back so many times! There is nothing like CA weather. But, we made it through. And now, Texas is home. You are not alone. Relocating can be hard. If y’all get a pool, don’t do black tile with this Texas heat. It’ll feel like hot bath water if the pool isn’t covered😩. Best wishes & keep us posted!!❤
Des is just one of the most beautiful woman inside and out. Her heart shines through so brightly! I am glad you guys are staying in Texas, though Arizona will always welcome you! Awww so glad y’all are giving Texas a chance just think this is your first HOME, your baby and you guys too will have these memories of this home. And the fact that you all are getting your pool,planting things,have your court, take lottttsss of pictures go old school too they have neat Polaroid cameras now, keep a “family album” to capture your memories as you all get older. Especially summer,Ju or Des on the grill,Koa playing with dad. Whooo I hope your mom does decide to move there and finds something she loves, it’s really a great family city and it would be so nice for holidays. Des the dark hair looks so good btw and it looks thicker and longer!

I moved to Dallas with my husband after living in CA our whole lives. We lived there for 6 years and moved back once i got pregnant bc we had no family there but i can say i regret the move back so much. Texas will always have my heart. Im glad you guys decided to stay definitely more peaceful!

Yes ! We moved to Texas about a year ago and wanting to move back every day! Lol but then you start finding new things and meeting new people and realize what a blessing it is to do something others won’t! ❤
My husband and I purchased our house the same exact time that you guys both purchased yours as well. We’re going through the same motions as you. It was excitement then buyers remorse then we got super lonely and then overwhelmed and now we’re learning to appreciate the blessings and go with the flow. You both made a big adjustment so give yourself some grace, it takes time❤️…it may even take years to fully feel at peace in your new spot and that’s okay! 🫶🏻 My family and I love you all and we pray that God protects your home, marriage and family. My fiancé and I are from Tx but spent our whole 20s in LA. I loved Cali and spent all my adulthood up to now out there. We just moved back Tx and it’s also been an adjustment for us but one thing I love about here vs LA is the PEACE, our home and not constantly feeling like we need to go go go. It takes time to get adjusted but exploring and trying new things helps so much. Wishing yall all the happiness and luck with making your house a home!

It’s all about the journey to the best family on You-Tube. I love seeing you guys growing so well. Staying where you guys are currently makes alot of sense in the long run. We moved to a smaller state in 2021 from California & we really struggled with the decision we had made once we got a home & our kids were enrolled in school. But getting out & exploring really helped us!! We put our oldest in after school activities & that helped us get to know other parents with little kids too. If you decide in the end that you do want to move back that’s okay!! At least you gave it a try ❤

Me and my husband moved from cali to corpus back to cali and now we’re back for good we decided we’ll be in San Antonio 🙌🏼 Texas is the best place to raise a family. One thing that we’ve learned is that Texans don’t play around when it comes to the safety of our children. I’ve never had so many amber alerts in my life. They make it known that it’s better to be safe than sorry. Plus you don’t want all that California recycled waste water.

Aww sooo cool!! My brother and his family moved to TX last year and they were homesick for the first couple of months and questioned themselves if that was the move they wanted.. They got out and got to go to different cities and they are in love with Texas now!!! I’m happy for you guys enjoy it

I know our opinions really don’t matter, but it’s such a relief you guys aren’t moving back to CA! Seeing you guys out in Texas is such a breathe of fresh air & I’m here for it. Moving is hard and takes time to adjust. It took me 5 yrs to be okay & now I can’t imagine leaving where I live. I completely understand 🙏..I'm originally from AZ with my Mom's family living in AZ Cali the west coast ...my Dad's family in Tx. We moved several times between both states until we moved to Tx when I was a teenager it was definitely difficult for me and Az will always be home to me .. I stayed in Tx due to I had my children here and I chose to raise them here... Happy to hear you all are staying... ❤
