  • The fact that he has 10+ minutes of highlights in 32 games is absolutely crazy. Especially when he isn't currently getting touches on every trip down the floor yet.

  • See, this guy is great. Hes a generational talent. Hes constantly improving. Its hist first year in the big leagues, and hes slamming dunks on the veteran centers, blocking their shots, can dribble the ball when needed, blocking 3s from people who are KNOWN to knock em down, AND to top it off, hes always stretching before the game with albeit weird motions, but improving his general muscle density and elasticity to avoid easy injuries. If he can manage that, find a health balance of weight to muscle ratio, hes gonna probably be in the top 10 C/PF talks. But at the same time, we gotta acknowledge that his team isnt focusing directly on him. And I think it might be due to fatigue issues. They dont want the young star they have to get tired doing extra flashy moves or alleys too often, but like Ive been seeing in games, and in the comments, theyre constantly missing him on wide open attempts in the paint. Sochan is a decent PG, but he has a better chemistry with their other players at the PG spot. If they can improve on that, this team is a few pieces away from championship.

  • Victor is indeed a unicorn, a generational talent and should he keep going the way he is, it will be a player to fear. People was throwing hate at him after a few summer league games ... but what about now? Have you seen the learning curve he's put on, the level he displays after 32 games (and still what is to come)? People keep saying "he should put on muscles like Giannis ..." - Come on dude, what's this obsession? He's already shown he doesn't need all that, he's pretty mobile considering his size and that is in my opinion due to the fact he's not overloading his already huge body with tons of muscles, let him be Wembanyama and not a Giannis ripoff. People saying Chet is better, and proves it with OKC ... No disrespect to Chet, but he's got a team that help him shine, Wemby doesn't unfortunately, and he can't carry it alone, however, do you see what he's already doing after 32 games? People hating on Wemby after 2-3 ankle "soreness" ... man he's 19, already playing at the highest of levels and having back to back games; what would you expect? He's huge, and giving it his all during every match ... let him be, let him grow, let him experience the ups and downs, its all part of the learning process. In conclusion: like it or not, for whatever reason, Wemby IS a one of a kind player, lots of talent, lots of skills, just needs time to adjust, mature and have the experience to reach his full potential; should you ask me, he looks scary enough already, imagine that in 2-3 years when he knows the plays, the fakes, the players playstyle ... it's gonna be madness.

    • Giannis was pretty skinny too, when he first joined the league. Wemby is only 19, and he will bulk up some as he matures. Hell, he could still have some growth left, too. He will need to get stronger to deal with the physicality and longer season, and I'm sure that he and the Spurs have the best trainers available to make sure he adds muscles in the best way possible. Barring injury, he will only get better.

  • It certainly does bring back memories of "Ralph Samson". The game was different back then in the early 1980's. This young man no doubt has even more dexterity. Let's hope his career lasts longer than Ralph's did. We have seen this all before though. The bigger they are, the easier it is too get hurt and never return.

Just cause you never seen it, don't mean it cant be done. VW gonna have 8-10 Championships, 10 if he shops his self to other teams like some players do to get a ring. You are looking at the future league all time shot blocker, all time rebound leader, all time dunk boss, most career points, and maybe just maybe the Leagues most MVP's if he stays healthy. Some folks don't even realize what they are witnessing right in front of there eyes. He's only 19 frail, naive, slow. So wait 2 more years he will be so dominate at this game we all love.
