  • It’s now time to bring in term limits for all politicians. There is no way to keep politicians honest when they serve for decades in tenured post. They forget that they work for the people. They represent the people not big tech and big pharmaceutical companies and it’s time to remind the politicians that point.

    • 1) One Term In, One Term Out for President, VP, Senators, Representatives. Serve while in, Run while Out. Run as many times as desired.
Can't run if one has served any part of the present term. Gets us 435 non-incumbent representatives every odd January. In a few years, representatives will be comparing records with their peers. Harder work for Lobbyists. 2) Federal Employees end their Federal employment when their accumulated Public retirement quarters exceeds their accumulated Private retirement quarters. Keep unelected Bureaucrats from controlling or manipulating the USA.
Avoid lobbyists manipulating the bureaucrats. 3) Change Federal Funding source to a Federal Sales Tax from the Federal Income Tax. Tax deductions no longer make sense. Loophole value disappears. Less need for Lobbyists. Encourage work. Purchase a big ticket item, pay a big tax. 4) Set the new Federal Sales Tax rate in odd Januarys to cover the actual spend of the last 24 months. Add 3% of the rate to the rate to pay off the national debt principle in 30ish years. Attribute the new rate to those who are out and running. 5) Understand the newly created environment and adjust the plan's workings. Just sayin'. Yes. Yes. Sales taxes are regressive.

BUT let's assume they do go and create a commission, it won't be bipartisan... the GOP are not about compromise and working with others, they are authoritarian terrorists that stomp their foot, throw a few hissy fits, snivel and whine, torture a few migrant children for self-gratification, and demand that they get their way or else. The fascist GOP are an existential threat to the continued existence of America itself and are openly at war with the US Constitution and the civil rights of the American people.

The 'State' media, as an appendage of the Democrats, never asked anything but softball questions of their colleagues on the Left, and as such, to the public, they come off as relaxed cordial centrists, who do nothing but wait in the center aisle, waiting for conservatives to join them. It's gaslighting at it's best, which is what the Left has been doing to this country, as they push their Marxist policies on the country.

    • On July 2nd, 1915, Leftist anti-capitalist academic, Erich Muenter, bombed the US Capitol as a protest against the war. On March 1st, 1954, a group of four Puerto Rican socio-Democrat nationalists entered a Capitol observation gallery, and opened fire on the legislative floor below, wounding five Representatives. On March 1st, 1971, a Left-wing extremist group called The Weathermen bombed the US Capitol. On May 19th, 1972, The Weathermen bombed the Pentagon. On November 7th, 1983, the far Left communist group, M19, bombed the Capitol. On July 24th, 1998, Russell Weston walked into the Capitol, and shot & killed two Capitol policemen, allegedly while attempting to assassinate Representative Thomas Delay and Speaker Newt Gingrich, both Republicans. On September 11th, 2001, radical Islamists bombed the Pentagon, killing themselves and 184 others. On January 6th, 2021, a group of Conservative demonstrators were ushered through barricades by Capitol police, and guided into the Capitol. The unarmed protesters fired no shots, planted no bombs, set no fires. Contrary to initial hysterical media reports, no legislators were harmed or killed, and no police were killed, however two unarmed demonstrators were killed. Democrats immediately labeled the incident a failed insurrection attempt... literally an attempt to overthrow the US government... by a group of untrained, unarmed, mixed gender, mixed race civilians, young and old, with no communications infrastructure, no organization, no battle plan, no chain of command, no logistic support, no small arms, no heavy weaponry, no explosives, no infantry support, no artillery, no armored support, no air support, and no plan to install an interim government. Hundreds of arrests were made, most of which were almost immediately released, but some are still being held prisoner by the radical Left, with no bail and no trial... for fifty seven months now. Then, on January 8th, 2021, Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, in an obscene display of divisive political grandstanding, called the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley, and discussed options to initiate a military coup to take control of the government away from President Trump and his administration for the next twelve days until President-elect Biden could be installed. General Milley declined to participate. In the passion of contemporary political discourse, inconvenient truths of history tend to be ignored.

(Must not care that much for the life of his wife if he'd be ok with her life in danger over a pregnancy gone wrong or a car accident, perhaps. With his marriage aggreement, it's probably the only way he could get rid of her if he wanted to.) Miscarriages are also the body's way of aborting, so that's already on the line since the doctors that are trained in abortions are the exact doctors trained for the SAME PROCEDURES related to a miscarriage--and some states won't train them. 'Holier than thou' hubris. It's not acceptable in government proceedings. The founding fathers intentionally indicated separation of church and state for reasons such as this. Even they had knowledge of abortions during that time and occasion to seek them out. We are a nation determined to be FREE TO CHOOSE/NOT CHOOSE our own religion. It is not meant to be in government, not meant to suggest a ruling caste based on which religion/denomination one identifies with. How about concentrating on preserving life after it's born, nurturing with food, childcare so mothers have potential to earn for their family, real education (not with the ulterior motive of propagandising to pretend things didn't happen that did--other nations' children know more honestly what our history is than you would have ours know of themselves, for heaven sake!), learning a trade or many trades. Money should be spent on all educational facilities alike, not pushed only to wealthier and/or private schools. When the option is there to choose how/when and if to start a family, households are healthier and happier, have more potential to thrive. Why are republicans so against the nation thriving? Why do they want people living dishonest lives that they don't identify with? Creating phobias where they don't have to be. Creating 'culture wars' where there was nothing of the sort going on to begin with but it got them on tv or posting on a social media site so they will keep pretending. I thought they are supposed to be pro-LIFE? Why constantly attacking others that have different thoughts on the subject and constantly pushing to diminish and take away others' control over their own lives? You have yours, why be a busy-body in other people's lives? It isn't something that rubs off, except in a good way when you actually DO care about others--and not just pretend that's why you are attacking... Diversity brings invention and entrepreurial endeavors and accomplishments, the economy grows, the neighborhoods thrive. Why be so hard-nosed, closed-minded and small? That's why I find this particular speaker and his background track record an appalling choice for Majority Speaker position: someone who says he will work 'together' but told the minority leader that even as he suggested that deep in Mr. Jeffries' heart he 'knew' what needed to be done--ie. whatever the version the republicans present. I found that offensive because he was telling him to be subservient and do what he says--southern bigotry on display. He's a slippery one. Jim Jordan with smarm. Hopefully, they won't get anything harmful done and their games will cause them to give the House back to Democratic hands. The democrats have a broad tent of diverse voices, but guess what? They can actually work together and are willing to INCLUDE republican voices. Unlike the other side of the aisle who doesn't include anybody else.

    • The election had already been contested. 60 judges said it was legitimate. Johnson sought to contest it in a state where he had no jurisdiction per the Supreme Court. He most likely already knew that and did it for show. That's why I say pay attention to his actions. But I was wrong about his words. Pay attention to those, too. His statement about blaming the human heart rather than guns for the shooting in Maine is completely heartless! He has shown who he is. Because of circumstances, we have no choice but to give him a chance to be better than that. Unfortunately, we are stuck with him for now.@@andrewphilpott3220
