Yep I'm down $9k. $11 average. But I'm still here and I'll continue to slowly expand. I still believe in lucid. They are superior products even though their software needs so many bug fixes lol. But it's the best range and packaging. I believe Lucid CAN succeed.

was just out in Phoenix a little over a week ago, and first thing I did after getting off the plane at Sky Harbor was drive south to Casa Grande and check out the location and size of the upgraded AMP-1 Factory, IT'S HUUUGE...!!! 👌

lucid, im thinkin of buying the suv, but the make it or break it deal is the UI, make it equal or better than tesla's, or im not buying, also use google maps at least, not amazon maps or what ever was in the air line-up

As Former Tesla model 3 owner now owning Lucid air believe me lucid is much much better than Tesla in every aspect, owned my Air for just over 7 months now in love with it, and the attention I get from this car is unbelievable

You need to make a smaller, more affordable model to be competitive. For example something like the honda e but sportier and cooler.
What you need to work on is a car that appeals to the masses, something like the Tesla model 3. Something that most people can afford. Enough with 80k + cars…. This market is too limited. Just look at your demand. It’s isn’t there !
I agree, I believe a mid-size version for $60k would be a helluva lot more reasonable!
Interesting -- a CEO with stellar automotive engineering credentials who is putting all his effort into engineering and building great vehicles . . . not on building cars and developing robots and flying to Mars and running a boring company and running a satellite service and running a social media platform. I own a 2021 Model S Plaid (replaced our 2015 Model S P90D) and a 2022 Lucid Air Dream Edition, and the difference between these two men shows in everything about the two cars. I'm going to get as close as I can to the head of the line when Lucid Gravity orders open up to replace our Honda Odyssey. I won't be buying another Tesla.
Great car …. but they have no idea how to market starting from the top of the team and software is still behind Tesla overall
@@mr.boombah6511 I agree with you on Lucid marketing. Regarding software, I judge the ease and safety of operating a car based on its overall control suite of which software is just a part. I have driven Teslas for nine years now and a Lucid for almost two and a half. After an infuriating first year with Lucid's software, the situation changed with its introduction of UX 2.0 and the steady stream of updates and new features. At this point, I find the total control suite of the Lucid to be better than Tesla's do-everything-through-screen-menus approach. Things such as engaging turn signals, adjusting A/C and air vents, selecting gears, passenger adjustment of audio are much easier to do in the Lucid, especially with the car moving. Also, the Lucid has some software features that our Plaid does not: birds-eye-view displays, playing USB music sticks, Apple CarPlay (with Android on the way), dual satellite map displays that allow simultaneous zoom-in and zoom-out as well as simultaneous direction-of-travel and compass orientation. Important things such as parking in a tight spot are far easier in the Lucid. The only software feature the Tesla has that I wish the Lucid had is sentry mode -- and that is probably on the way.

EV boom is almost over. Most large manufacturer's are now moving back to hybrid or PHEV type models or exploring different energy alternatives altogether. Ford is losing $132,000 on every EV they sell. Meanwhile Lucid with their $2 stock is "investing" in more infrastructure for cars that only about 2% of the population can afford anyway. How's this gonna end well?
It is not over, early adopter phase is over. We need 20-30K USD vehicles, before rebates, for the masses. We nee retrofit kits to give old vehicles a new life for 10K USD and 100 miles range. and pervasive charging infrastructure. In cities, a plug in every lamp post with slow charge seems the most cost effective. Then, even if we stopped producing new ICE vehicles overnight, if will get 20 years to replace the ones on the road.
EVs are ideal for customers that own a house with a garage. I don't know the percentage of house owners, but I have seen alot of Tesla and Mercedes evs in my area as the years go by. Not only that, but if Lucid enters the Chinese and South Korean markets, they will sell even more EVs as China has their EV mandates.
