    • That's how society works, it's the nature of the beast sometimes!!!!!!!!!, all it takes is 1 person to do the opposite to what everyone else is doing and be different, then the second guy joins him either mockingly or supportingly, and it usually takes off from there, depending on the mood of the people of the time

    • I got laughed at in soton for wearing kickers in late 88, a year later everyone was wearing them. So I painted mine lilac, pink, silver and everyone's jaw dropped. Weirdly about a year after that kickers then introduced multi coloured ones.

    • @ Probably the fear of looking stupid or awkward. Which makes no sense considering this WOULD be the place to dance and groove but since not enough people were doing so, nobody partook until the man, the myth, and the legend showed up. I guess a lot of people don't like standing out.

Whole club was lit for 4 house after that. Easily the greatest man I ever knew. After that at another party he was the first to get on the roof and starting a concert with tupac in the background. then he jumps into the pool with everyones cell phone out. whole county saw that man do wut he does best, rule his people he is forever the king to my group of friends.

  • I was at a NYE folk festival in Australia. About 11:30 a downpour started and flooded the area. The band started playing again about 11:45. My drunk stoned mate tackled me and we had a bit of a wrestle in the mud. Within 5 minutes about 200 people were mud wrestling. about 12:30 nearly everyone stripped off and went swimming in the creek. A weird and wonderful New Years.

    • @@liamgross7217 That's so cool. I went to carb day in Indianapolis, which is a huge concert/hangout before the Indy 500. I went for Papa Roach and Staind.. There is long hill that I was on top. I was walking toward my friends. At one point the crowd was thick, so I had to walk on the side of the hill. It was a setup. Somebody baby oiled all the way down the hill. I started sliding on my feet with my cooler rolling behind me and a beer in the other hand. I knew I was going to fall down and be covered in oil. I was getting more and more pissed off by the second. I knew my night was ruined. It must've been quite the scene. I could hear the people at the top ooooOOO, oooOOOO each time I nearly lost my balance. I was so pissed off, I knew I was going to chug a few beers and go(try to) kick somebody's ass covered in baby oil. There must've been 300 people watching. When I made it to the bottom, still, somehow, on my feet, I turned around pissed off, and the people started hooting, and hollering, cheering, and clapping. I chugged the beer in my hand, opened my cooler, then smashed another one. Round 2 of cheering started, except way more intensely. I was no longer pissed off, I felt amazing. . . . This felt like the right place to share that story.

Now some women I have dated hated it, cause I would make friends every place I went. But I think we have to stop hindering that inner happiness 😊
