I think Steve's corner gave poor advice. He wasn't behind 3-1 and because he thought he was, he took a riskier strategy. He wins a re-match and did absolutely no harm to his reputation in losing, which you cannot say about many fighters. Much like Tim Tszyu's recent 'loss'.

He didn't make the takedowns that he shouldn't have attempted. Keeping it stood up was always his best chance. He'll be a better fighter for this, and has fought his way into some big opportunities now.
