Forsberg finally decided to take charge of the team and stopped sitting back and just being a shooter. He's finally being a leader.
Not going to the Sphere I guess is a story that has been talked about a little. Coach decided it wasn’t a good idea as the team was struggling and now they aren’t.

Have to say I agree with the color guy who said he loves the white jerseys at home. As a NYR fan, I love the fact that the home whites said Rangers, and the road blues, New York. Also, at the Garden, you saw the visiting teams in their best colors, which gave a lot more visual variety you get now, with the same blue shirts (ok, two or three varieties, which is, to me, just marketing B.S.) every game.

What do you reckon the odds for Nashville taking it all this year? Its gotta be around +4000 to +6000.. I realize the Central division is gonna be an absolute grind, and the odds are tremendously low. Very, very tough match-ups in teams like COL, WIN and DAL. These 3 teams are nightmare match-ups for a team like Nashville, unfortunately. They'd have a better shot vs the likes of Boston, Carolina, and potentially even NYR. Very tough division for Nashville. After the Central, it's the Atlantic that's going to be the most difficult grind for any team attempting to reach Round 3.

One weakness is probably the powerplay they are much better 5 on 5 than with the man advantage for some reason. They went 1/3 on the powerplay tonight and yes against a good Florida team but they went 0/2 on the powerplay when they played the sharks. If they can improve their powerplay they will be killer in the playoffs.

Panthers really struggling and playing poorly weeks before playoffs when we really need them to play strong. Another shitshow AND on home ice. We are cooked for the season, and here I thought for a bit there this was finally going to be our year. Oh well, maybe next season! 🤷

This season has been absolutely insane for the Preds. Andy Brunette was my prime candidate to replace John Hynes as HC but even in a best-case scenario I could not have imagined the positive impact he would have. The team plays fast (in transition), forechecks relentlessly (especially the 4th line of Sherwood-McCarron-CoSmith who have become forecheck monsters), they've tightened up in front of their own net (in comparison to the 1st half of the season), but most important: They trust the game plan, they trust each other, and they don't have any back-seat passengers in their lineup. This ride has been so much fun. Go Preds! 🔥⚡🥅
