Well said Luke, as a 992 GT3 Touring owner I completely agree. This car excites me already just by the looks. The engine is a masterpiece and you don't need to drive it at 10/10 to enjoy. Nowadays very few cars give you a comparable experience.
Very few supercar owner Can drive their car 10 of 10...

I couldn’t agree more on this point. I have always had a thing for the way the AMG twin turbo V8 engine sounds and now that I own one as a daily driver it just excites me every single time: I hop on my car, fire it up and start smiling! Watching Luke’s videos, as well as others, I have to say the way Porsche’s engines sound, especially the aspirated ones, may take this feeling to the next level as all you really want to do is throw a few gears up and down, without even having to adjust your driving style to be too uncomfortable. Excellent, quality built cars, no doubt! Who knows maybe one day…
Congrats for your AMG! hold on for the Porsche and it will happen 😉
He just bought it with the wrong transmission. #savethemanuals
Can hardly believe it's been 9 months already. Love that clean look.
Yep, time seems to go faster and faster!
Luke is the Master

Good shout out on how important it is for a car to feel exciting when driven slowly. Interesting that Porsche have gone back to normal door handles on the ST - you'll have to get one now!
it's because it has the doors of the RS which has the old analog handle.
@@rfracing964 I'm guessing a weight saving in doing that??
@@corgi_leonberger7233 👍 no electric motor needed like for the 'new' handle.

Lets be honest, there are many guys and girls out there whom are really clever and knows cars inside out, technicalities and modifications. What makes Luke sitting at the top beside all that mentioned is his personality, taste (in everything) and humor. Locations and filming taste are top tuned ☺️ Luke I just want you to know that I still enjoy watching and listening to every vid you make. Thanks mate, for being as you are. Cheers from your fan in Copenhagen. Ciao ✌🏽
Makes me very happy to read how much someone can enjoy what I do but also understand the deeper meaning to it.
Love all things Porsche. So is the roll cage mostly for safety or does is also add significant stiffness to the chassis?@@carswithluke
Crazy that its been 9 months a member of this community, and that was at the time I came across your first review of your own Porsche 992. Love the content so much Luke. LSO
Huge smile maker for Luke! Drove a 4S once and loved it so I can only image how this car makes you feel man!
Love myself an early upload and waking up late so I don't have to postpone the watch on such a beautiful Sunday. Your GT3 videos are always fantastic and fun to watch. For me, the GT3 just feels perfect/accomplished in multiple ways, depending on how I feel like I see it's perfection in a different aspect. Some days it's perfect driver's car, other times it looks to me like a piece of art, on the other days I lose my mind over how beautiful does that 6 cyl sounds, on some occasions I admire it's refinement and build quality to the fullest (I will act like I didn't hear you talk about door handles 😅). There are hundreds of fantastic sports cars out there but I can't think of many that tick so many boxes. I definitely like these wheels more than the black ones (colour wise at least, maybe it was the red details that ruined the previous ones for me) although I can't think of a better fitting colour for yours other than indigo blue or simply silver. Looks neat nonetheless. :)
Love your channel luke. When you emphasized the importance of enjoying low speeds you nailed it. I’ve got the bgts 4.0 and it also makes me smile in low speeds when i hear that 4.0 na 👌🏼
Excitement/engagement at low speeds is the reason even the most amazing EV's will always fall short in driving experience.
Man I love this content! Please continue sharing your journey with your porsche 992 gt3! This really is inspiring
I have to say: Thank you! Thanks for your inspiration. I visited switzerland last weekend (again, iam about 2 times a year in switzerland) and drove the grimsel / furkapass with my RS4 - it was breathtaking!
Absolute music to my ears GT3 🔥! Thank you for having great commentary as well 🙏👍
Always amazing to see your GT3 videos, Luke! ✨
Beautiful cinematography as always ❤
You are so right to point out that one is able to enjoy a sports car at relatively low speeds, if you are lucky to have a worthy engine (5-cylinder, flat-6, inline 6, V6, V8, or supercar territory), listening to the changes in engine note through gear changes or simply pottering along at city speeds at rumbling revs. Especially in a country such as Switzerland, as you well know ! Speed can be exhilarating, but it’s just one of the many factors of driving enjoyment.
The sight of that wheel with the red Porsche brake calipers.....Just gold!!
🙏
I love what you did with the stock wheels! Personally prefer this look over the previous black ones...not that those weren't nice as well. And just wanna say, I was smiling the whole time you were driving...completely enjoying the symphony from your car!
That's what I love with my modest manual Cayman 981 too, drive at slow speed is a joy too. And if I want to attack, it's also a joy. It's my daily and I have now 150'000km in it, without ANY issue (that's crazy compare to other car that I own in the past). I'm happy to ear that the GT3 keep that quality
Filming again on point!
You captured the symphony of that flat 6 perfectly, great video and was great to experience it with you!
Happy to hear 🤘🏻
As good as the car itself, your cinematography, Just top notch. Beautiful to watch. Also think the original gt3 wheels better looking than the ones you ordered. Even more in that bronze color. Perfect.
Beautiful car, awesome spec!
your videos are such a huge inspiration for me! Love your filming style and mix between driving and talking! Its always 10/10 Hope to met you one day up in the swiss alps to hit some pass roads and take some shots together 😎
Thanks man, see you in the alps 🤘🏻
Totally transported from a somewhat wet Bristol (UK) to a sunny mountain pass in a GT3 - as ever throughly enjoyable vlog Luke! Cheers, Kevin.
Ha happy to hear! 🤘🏻
Awesome Luke...keep them rolling man!
Thanks mate
Really dig that intro & music that went with it 👌
Looks so good with those wheels and without the tyre writing, perfect spec
Quality of Luke's videos man 🔥
Thanks 🤌
Wheels look amazing.
Lovely car!!! Can’t think of any other vehicle I’d buy if I could go for that price point. Great video too! It is the right duration and no BS fillers. It made me get up the bed to drive my Manual GR Supra on the country-side. It will bring me some joy, but in a different way 😄
Sounds incredible 👌
I so agree with your sentiments, Luke. A sports car needs to bring joy at 1/10th - not just 9/10ths. You’ve also got me thinking about Weiss Gold wheels for my 981. I wonder how it’s Carrera Classic 20s would look in that colour…
Another great video, Luke! I Came across your channel the other day and have been burning through your content. Really glad to see you went w the weiß gold wheels, they look great. Would love to hear your thoughts on a good starter Porsche model as I’m considering investing in one. Thanks!
Incredible car, unbelievable sounding engine and some of the best roads on earth. No wonder you cant stop smiling 🎉
Your spec is perfect.I wouldn’t change a thing. Congrats man 👍🏻
Cheers 🤘🏻
Your car is looking really good and sounds great! Well done.🤪
This Porsche is sensational the sound of the exhaust is show. Perfect winding road for a Porsche! Santa Maria - RS - Brazil
You are living the dream Luke! This is my bucket list car. Maybe someday! Also, I love where you live. The mountain roads must be awesome in Switzerland? I’d love to go there someday. I lived in northern Japan for the last years of my career in the USAF. Which also has great mountain roads The car culture in Japan is one of the best in the world, but outside of Tokyo you don’t see many 911’s! I had a few fast cars there mostly different Subaru Sti models which are very fun fast and sound great with the burble of the flat 4. Anyway, love your channel and cars you’ve been graced with!
0:00 GTA vibes👊
Love the sound of the low end rumble while going slow 🔥
Yep!
To eliminate 50% of your shortcomings of the GT3 I can reveal, that there is a cup-holder insert which goes into that little cubby hole in the middle console.
Sunday highlight: „another video on your Channel!“ thx for it! 😃
🙏
Your smiles say it all…🔥🔥
🙏
"You don't need to go fast" . Thank you Luke! I agree 100% with this philosophy. Let's respect others on the road. A 992 GT3 or my Exige V6 360 Cup for example, give a lot of pleasure. I love your spirit.
Luke, you're absolutely spot on regarding the need for an expensive super car to excite at any speed. And this is the reason that even the most outrageous EV falls short for me. I have a 992T and drive it every day, and enjoy the experience at any speed.
Love your channel Luke
Appreciate it
Great car, great cinematography, great video 👍 ☕️
Been driving my Elise around Zug this summer. Enjoying a car at low speeds and cornering is so fun.
Exactly! Perfect car for that
Fantastico Luke i definitely need a coffee ride in your Porsche 🤙🤙
Beautiful wheels. I myself love the satin neodyme wheels. Great content as always, gorgeous car
Cheers and yep super happy with them!
Yeah I love the neodyme wheels also
@@carswithluke your wheels look Neodyme but you said Weiss gold?
Thanks for the intel on living with the gt3. I'd love to own one someday. Maybe you can make a video on how much it costs for you to own a gt3 and a yaris? Speaking about leasing, traffic taxes, fuel, insurance, and so on. Sattelegg is such a nice quick and easy road to go for a quick drive if you live near :)
Excellent wheel color choice.
Can’t wait next video!
Such a nice road and view, where did you film this? Would love to drive it in the next Switzerland trip 🙌🏼
He filmed on "Sattelegg" in Canton Schwyz, i personally do not like this road much, to narrow, to much traffic, would suggest (if you didn't drove already) "Klausenpass", more fun, longer and with an amazing view!
bloody brilliant Luke .....OMG that 4.0
Thanks 🙏
Every time I click on one of your videos my jaw drops at the quality
😌🙏
Sunday, coffee and a new upload from Luke. Life can be great
Makes me happy to read 😌
Congrats Luke! You deserve it!. Not a fan of the stock rims with that almost yellow color. Black looked much better imo, but its your car, and I love you are setting it up the way you want it.
One more blessed day driving your beautiful GT3 for that pleasant step. What is your opinion about the brand of titanium exhausts (ipe)? You have considered lowering the mass of weight by mounting the original Porsche magnesium wheels; together with the titanium exhaust that you have mounted, you would already have a few kilos less. Thank you very much for this new video and it would be great if you could get the new Porsche 992 S/T with manual transmission, an experiment between a gt3 rs and a gt3 touring. Greetings and enjoy health.
These wheels look 1000% better, your car looks like a proper piece of kit, it's stunning. Also not having the mud guards in black looks much cleaner imo
Just for reference… You can get an adapter for the middle console to hold a cup :)
🙏
Love the 992 gt3
The 992 gt3 is one off my dream cars with that amazing sounding 4.0 f6 na I love it my dream spec would be in purple with neodyme color wheels or in some kind off Porsche grey with neodyme wheels but this spec is also just beautiful i love it amazing content luke!
Sounds lovely! I wouldn’t say no to purple!
The best car from your channel ❤
Looks much better!
Aw, just fine. Thank you for taking us all along. Serene entertainment!
You are so exactly right, its the most fun you can get within the speed limits!
🫡
My 991.2 is perfect in my opinion ❤ , your car looks special enjoy
Happy you went back to the original wheel set. Nothing can beet that wheel on a gt3 imo.
Awesome looking GT3!
so true about when you talk about the car has to excite at slow speeds! Some super cars feel and sound absolutely mean even at slow speeds
Those wheels man. Wow, very nice & slick car.
which exhaust do you have bro? it sounds beautiful
Oh...that sound....symphony...🥰👌👍
Very nice car 🚗 and the neighborhood scenery its owsome. 😊
Achingly gorgeous spec.
Thats looks sensational with the gold wheels Luke.
Cheers, happy to see the wheels again!
🙌 I 100% agree with you and you spoke what has been on my mind for a while. My s2000 is 20+ years old and 11+ years in my ownership, but speed limit hasn't changed in 50 years. 🤷♂ I find the power plenty enough for me to use although it is perceived as snail comparing to modern fast cars. Maybe I am biased and simply cant afford newer shinier toy so I am saying this. I do enjoy the build up of power+speed+rev with my car. It is enough for me. Even at 50km/hr, when I try to glide over a corner with a good race line, when I try to heel & toe well, enjoying that momentum shifting, feeling that weight transfers then sinks down on the outer front wheel .. etc, it is just mega fun. I haven't been to the track and I don't feel like I need to cos I chicken out beyond 140km/h. I am happy to play down here. Anyway, you spoke what has been on my mind for a while.
Nice, love the S2000! And yep you’re very on point, have to realistically have fun is some people don’t talk about for some reason and the importance of your car being fun a low speeds also.
First time viewer here. Jesus Christ the views are absolutely amazing. Would love to drive a porsche around these parts one day 😭 Sending love from the states!
Welcome to the channel then 🫡
It sounds magnificent at 30, 50 or 100 mph🇨🇭😎
Luke great video as always. Luke I must ask you, these roads are absolutely amazing, WHERE are these roads? What Country, City and/or Town are these roads in?
Luke I share your love for a car as well...mine tho is a tuned WRX that is also lowered, it's sounds great but not as great as yours. I wish I had front lift! In Switzerland, are you required to have Catalytic Converters? What octane is "super" their?..In California we have a measly 91....What a beautiful place you live!!!. One more thing, I'm so glad that bug got off your hood around the 8min. mark!...LOL..
Beautiful wheels.Need to sort out the calipers now. That red just clashes with the other colours.
Magnificent!
I just don't see how he is really enjoying that much car on those narrow roads. I had a new Porsche 997, living in rural North Carolina, I would go out in my Porsche late at night and I would have the entire road to my self. I actually learn how to drive really fast on curvy, hilly roads by doing this for years. I could never own that great GT3 where he lives. He has no idea what he's missing.
You should have an interchangeable cup holder provided which you clip in as a replacement
The bug on the motorhood is the star of the video....
Love your GT3 great sound . I also prefer the factory wheels in that gold . Do you have a favorite tire brand or tread design ?
That spec is just... oh my god
Hey Luke, That was one heck of a car. You are literally living in my dream life 🙌 The car looks superlit🔥. I’m curious to know the name of the car paint or wrap of this car…
Hi Luke. I think the little cubby hole clicks out and a cupholder clicks in for the driver? Loved the video. 👍🏼
Okay need to go try that 🧐
That bug on the hood just wasn't letting go!
And how are you getting on with PCM, data, phone integration, operation? Just been around Europe and mine crashed in navigation running Tom Tom, Waze, Google or pretty much anything off the phone even when wired in. It’s also pretty hopeless in the mountains when data is unavailable. The Porsche nav is like a magical mystery tour and had to revert to paper maps on many occasions! Great video though Luke best one I’ve seen to date.
Luke is the best 😎👌💯✅
Great video as always! Do you consider to remove the wing for some “touring” aspect?
Cheers and no I love the wing
How does this stack up to the Scud you drove practicality wise? I would be mostly interested in your commentary on ride height, front overhang, the diffuser clearance in the rear, etc, since it's a given that carplay, front lift, parking sensors, camera, etc are things that the Scud doesn't have.
There is cup holder insert for the centre console. It’s comes with the car BTW!
with this car i would shoot it everyday 😅 Even in my region in germany. I dont have so nice photospots. But would drive hours for photos xD. I´m glad for you. Keep this going. Even if i dont can purchase something cool like this, your videos give me the feeling of owning a Porsche. And also your location is so beautiful. I´m in october near Switzerland. So maybe i will take a look at some nice locations 😄
agree re the wheels mate. good call. i'd ditch that cage & make a custom fitment so you can have a cup holder. then perfection. will likely get one next year as a friend going to sell his when his ST arrives.
There should be no cup holders in a gt3, I'm not sure on this obsession with cup holders in a car like this - its range is too small to worry about it
hey Luke I am heavily impressed with the sound of you 992 GT3. I have one as well although a touring version of it. What is the type of exhaust modification you have made, where is it available and roughly how mich does it cost? Many thanks for a reply
