  • What a ridiculous thing to say. She's incredibly attractive, makes her living on the way she looks (her own admission) and has the nerve to say she doesn't care about her body. It's like when a wealthy person tells you money doesn't matter. The reality is that your brain and your body are one in the same. You can not have a healthy mind without a healthy body. Mental wellness is inherently tied to physical wellness. It's ok to say being obese IS NOT HEALTHY. I'm not advocating for insulting people or shaming them but the reason life expectancy for the first time in human history has gone down, is because we are fat, static and eating junk.

  • Interesting perspective, I can respect that. I think a certain amount of that is healthy. I do think we care bit too much about what other people think or even what we think when it comes to physical appearance. But I do try to think positively about everything I've been blessed with, including my physical vessel. I try to think of it like a work of art, we decorate it, embellish, show it (appropriately hopefully) or not use it to say something or don't, use it to protect others and our selves, to love, to explore and achieve great feats of athleticism ect... Art can express and be interpreted in many ways, or those who view it can choose to opt out altogether, and that's their decision. But I hope my vessel is a blessing in some way. So I guess I agree in some ways and also disagree in other ways.

That’s because when you’re young, good looking is something that’s more or less for granted so you don’t really worry much about it. When you get older and those wrinkles/ grey sets in, it will start to affect your confidence.

When women don't work it's considered brave and societally acceptable. When a man does it he is told he is worthless, deemed unfit to have a family or a good quality of life. I have been looking to work for over two months now. I have an excellent resume and I apply everyday to many different jobs and just potentially found a new job next week. Maybe if people stop judging without actually having been through whatever they are criticizing society will become more understanding, peaceful and empathetic. @@sophiepires792

Is that a comment on quality of life? Your body is not a vessel for your brain. Your body is part of you. You take the best care of it that you can. A healthy body allows your brain to function more efficiently.
