Gears of War 3 is the epic conclusion to the original Gears of War trilogy. After years of fighting and years of hardships, humanity has been pushed back to the brink of extinction. The COG have completely fallen apart since Chairman Prescott abandoned them. But Prescott unexpectedly returns, and informs Marcus that his father is alive. There is hope yet to save humanity, and Marcus and crew will have to battle through hordes of Locust and Lambent to save the human race.
Sorry we took a while to finish the trilogy, but with everything that's been going on with our main channel, our schedule got thrown out of wack. There are a couple of places here where audio had to altered or muted. We apologize, but it's necessary for copyright reasons.
As always we tried to included relevant gameplay, important dialogue and all cutscenes to create one fluid cinematic experience. We hope you enjoy!

It's crazy when you watch all of 3 games back-to-back it's hard to believe how this was such a wonderful Masterpiece existed on the Xbox 360. No micro transactions no purchasing skins solid story good online gameplay. This was a time you just had to be there.

I agree. The Gears games are the only reason I ever bought a 360. Bought all 4 games and enjoyed them all. Everything else I played was PS3.
Actually there were paid dlc and a lot of skins both of weapons and characters, only obtainable with real life money.

I think the one who really suffered the most was Marcus; endured more than anyone else should and then some. It started when he lost most of his crew, his men during his early COG career, and later on when witnessing his friend, his brother, Dom, euthanizing his wife. And now during the end of this trilogy, losing Dom himself due to his heroic sacrifice and his father for saving Sera from the Lambent Pandemic. Fast forward 25 years from this game and into Gears 4, he lost his companion-now-late-wife, Anya Stroud. But what makes him strong and unflinching is his resiliency. His ability to bounce back from his loss and help his son JD from the Swarm. That man has nothing but my admiration, as a character whose development is shown much over the years.

Yeah there were even selling t-shirts and stuff for killing off Carmine or keeping him alive. I miss the early 2010s advertising stunts that game companies performed. You just don't see that stuff anymore. I remember that Bioware did one better by attaching early copies of Mass Effect 3 to weather balloons which fans could track and claim the game early and for free if they found them

hello everyone, PlayStation player here. With the release of Gears 4, I decided to finally take a check and see what all the buzz is about, and damn. I'm impressed with this series. If I owned an X1, I'd definitely buy this game (gears 4). It's like Marcus Fenix and Kratos both aged at the same time and have kids in the 4th iteration of both, God of War, and Gears of War 4. Damn, impressed guys. Damned impressed.

Xbox have quite the range of great games with epic stories, it's nice to finally see someone that appreciates their rival consoles games rather than hate on them. I have to say a lot of the PlayStation games also look incredible too. The last of us for example is a masterpiece, I love that game and I'm very sad I cant play it for myself, Until dawn looks so fun and enjoyable and also the uncharted series. I think it's safe to say that both Xbox and PlayStation have some great titles, its just a shame that we can play them all. I'm so happy somebody out there is like me and doesn't hate on consoles and actually enjoys what they release even if i cant play it for myself.

The contents of Adam Fenix”s disc relates to the SPECIFICATION OF THE IMULSION COUNTERMEASURE DEVICE. (We know the lambent organism has been continuously evolving since the early pendulum wars over 100 years ago, so Adam wanted to alter the device to destroy the lambent organism in its evolved state, but not as it existed at an earlier stage in its evolution, when the sires were created and taken to mount Kadar during the early pendulum wars. The Locust are lambent, just an ancestral version of the lambent in Sera at the time of GOW3) Unfortunately, Adam ran out of time so he wasn't able to do this.

Epic Games let the franchise go after Gears 3, but The Coalition aka the new company handling gears was able to milk the franchise, and the "harm not kill" was obviously a reason.
You know this game was amazing when the graphics still look insane till this day.

All of the locusts torture methods came from new hope facility and Niles Sampson's team. If you think about it that's what made her develop hatred for humanity; their cruelty to there own kind. So the locusts started using those methods on humans.
The Locust felt like humanity would never except them even though they had human origins, they felt humans would exploit them or enslave them which is what gave Myrah a distrust of them.

Everyone talks about Dom’s death but I think the really sad scene is Cole’s flashback
It's the ending for me as it's so bittersweet. The humans won but Marcus had lost everything in the process. It took Anya, for the second time in the game, to tell him the bigger picture and say that: "we finally got a tomorrow". It's still my favourite ever ending of a game that I've played.
