I Travelled to Czech Republic as we watched the Prague derby between Slavia Prague and Sparta Prague. It was complete chaos & one of the best football matches iv'e attended!

  • You need to come again on Sunday for the league derby to see a proper game and emotions on the pitch. These clubs don't care about the Czech cup as much as league title

    • Atmosphere and choreo is much better at Slavia, but as you say, league derby is more heated.

  • One of the calmest derbys in last few years. 😃 Czech cup is getting spicy in the final only. League derby is complete different level, more passion, fans getting crazy etc.

  • Visited Slavia on Sunday (just missed you, left on Tuesday lol). Great club. Trdelnik isn't actually traditional Czech food though (tourist scam) haha

  • I was in Prague in November and got to see both Prague teams play in their home stadiums, i encourage any football fan to attend slavia and sparta games 🙌 2 amazing teams, clubs, people, fans and atmosphere

  • Liverpool and AC Milan will have the chance to feel the atmosphere themselves next week. Liverpool at Sparta, Milan at Slavia.

  • Great visit for you. It was only cup. League derby is most spicy. It will be this week on Sunday. But you see 4 goals overtime. So you must be happy.

  • Superb video. When I visited Prague pre-pandemic I stayed in the Castle District, just at the bottom of the steps at 2:25. Surprised you didn't try the absinthe as there was an absinthe museum in this area. They even sold absinthe ice cream. Although the pyros looked good, for me they were a little too orchestrated/choreographed. But that is European football for you. Just take Germany as an example. They have blokes at the front of the stand with loudhailers leading the chants.
