There are different kinds of music for different prayer sequences. ummm...i think this was a peaceful sequence because of the gya-lings in the background...but i'm not sure. Anyhow, its not a performance per-say, its to help practitioners enter certain states of meditation (as i understand it...but i haven't had full teachings or anything). It certainly is amazing though, it's cool that you are so affected. You should check out Tibetan Buddhism:)

No you are wrong tibetan monks can eat meat,drink alcohol,monk can marry, monk can live luxury this is the freedom for they.their all kings were also monk in the luxury palace with wives.this kind of buddhism is bad buddhism from tibet.this kind of rules made by their king suitable for himself and other monks.buddha said if you have choices to eat food then you can't eat meat.real monk should be a pure veg is best.only big tibetan books reading and playing music is not real buddhism."i'm from the land of buddha lumbini nepal "

I don't like tibetan cultural buddhism.reading tibetan books and playing music is not good buddhism.most monks are nonveg,alcoholic,married and living luxury.this kind of bad buddhism was born in tibet china.their kings were also rebirth monk in the luxury potala palace with wives.this culture of buddhist rules are made by their kings for suitable for himself.plz nepali nuns and monks shouldn't follow tibetan bad buddhism.be pureveg simple living monks are best in buddhism.
