  • I was surprised when I learned Mark owned a restaurant because I don't think he's ever mentioned it in a video. Mark has to be the most modest successful KZheadr of all time - 9 million subscribers, no sponsors, hardly any merch. Mad respect.

  • I went to eat there a few times. The spice level is one step higher than the average Thai shop. A less spicy dish would be medium in an average Thai shop. I took the medium spicy. It's just a normal shop, not very cheap, but you get a very big portion and they use duck eggs and the taste is pretty good. I did not know Marc was the owner until one day I was eating in the shop and the Dutch guy that sat beside me told me about Marc, who was in the shop too.. Marc is looking as cheerful in real life as in his youtube videos.

    • @@tanawatleelayouva5123 You get a bigger than usual size. About twice as big. And you get a free duck egg. Just calculate: 50 Baht is a normal street side shop, double size - that's 100B. And then a free duck egg 15ฺฺB. That's already 115B. And it's an airco shop in a busy area, which adds to the price too. The price correct. • My wife and I ate there when we visited. She had level 4 with squid and I had level 5 with pork. It was hot!! But it had amazing flavors. Great finding heat and flavor.

  • LOL..... I didn't even know Mark had a restaurant of his own. That looks good too. I make that same dish at home here in Florida. Without all those chilies. Well I lie. I use Green and Red ones from my pepper plants. It's freaking hot. But I gave up on the supper hots like those Reapers. I do use Habanero's once in a while and have a collection of stuff like that in my freezer. My Chili garden once produced enough of that stuff that I didn't replant any of it. I have about 3 pounds of those types of chilies frozen. This year I'm growing jalapeno, ornamental thai, and tabasco, along with my bells. I also started growing Galangal and Ginger. And also 4 types of basil.
