After the overwhelming success of my intermediate F2L cases video (link down below) I knew that I had to make one for beginner F2L. So here you go: the most important beginner F2L tricks and F2L cases that you need to know. But please keep in mind that this is not an F2L tutorial. This video is meant to show you the cases and how to solve them, but is not meant to teach F2L as a whole. With that in mind, I still think that these are the best F2L algs for their respective cases, and they will be very helpful. If you want more F2L tips and tricks and so much more, make sure to subscribe!!

  • As a Roux solver right from the start but interested in other methods I'm always glad there are some guys who show the basic CFOP stuff. Very well explained. Thanks for that.

  • This is one of the best f2l videos I've watched! Every f2l video I watched was really random and hard to understand. I like how every thing is categorized and not randomized! Love your vids

  • Great video! Was able to solve using beginners method and started learning F2L. The more and more I do it, I'm recognizing similar cases and most of the pair solves are intuitive. Thanks for sharing this video. It really helps.

  • Awesome video. Surprisingly, I already knew all the cases before watching, but I hadn't really understood the last couple of them till you showed slowly how you solved them. I was just doing them mechanically, applying algs without knowledge... but now I know what those algs are for and therefore I won't ever forget them.

  • It would be nice if this gave a move sequence to set up each of the cases, so we can more easily practise them while watching.

  • These are great videos and I take an occasional screen shot of a new algorithm to help me memorize. I wanted to add a little something to learning how to look ahead doing F2L. Recently I became quite interested in solving a 3 x 3 with one hand. Obviously it really slowed me down but because I knew how to solve with 2 hands it helped me look through my moves and solve faster.

  • I finally got under 1minute using the beginner method , I can now complete the cube blind folded because I switched to a cube with a sides that are the same color.

  • The one with an opposite color connected pair that you can pull out a solved pair and just put it right back after solving your current pair is a good one :) I did not know that one. Thanks!
