for the future i think a good idea if you summoned a mech boss with your mechinator! >:) i've yet to get a sphere in my playthroughs but that was my plan for it alsooooo you could store the tox-packs in a freezer til you could summon the pit-gate! :) the 3 yaks were almost comedic when i did my draw animals it sent me like 10 manhunting yorkies
The red lines on the Nociosphere are based on how active the entity is. When nearly fully suppressed the lines are a faded red, but as it gets active the lines get brighter and more distinct. I did start to worry when it teleported toward your base after its targets had been wiped out. I've heard about the devastation those things will unleash on a base. If one of those does ever go on a rampage inside your base, you'll be needing to do a few funerals afterwards. Best thing you can do is put colonists in places that are small enough that it's unlikely the sphere will teleport to them, because fighting it will cause casualties. Fun fact about the Skip Abduction ritual. It used to target faction leaders a LOT. I got one myself, stole their youth twice, and they died due to brain scarring on the second youth stealing ritual.
