A moment from Hank Williams's 1951 radio program on WSM in Nashville, sponsored by Mother's Best Flour and emceed by "Cousin" Louis Buck of Bessemer, Alabama.
The complete recordings of the Mother's Best program are available in a Time Life box set, and on Spotify. As a bonus, the album includes a public service announcement wherein Hank Williams warns of the dangers of venereal disease through song.

As this clip demonstrates, the recordings shed new light on the good-natured goofball disposition of Hank Williams, too often thought of as the troubled, world-weary character many of his songs portray.
