Your very lucky, great & large mally there. Took care of 1 year old male when COVID broke out, working national security man owner, he had job to do so 12-14 hours took care of his pup job but fun for me, it was lockdown and had my buddy.

I picked my pup up a few days ago.. she is very young at 6week 5 days! 7 week 3 days now. She's fully weaned and has settled in really well. Already answers to her name and will sit on command.. my dog seems to be very protective already! Her ears were flopped over when I picked her up then one ear stood up after the first night, then the second one stood up the very next night. She seems to sleep alot in-between playing. Again thanks for the videos i love seeing your dogs interaction with you.
How exciting!!! Congratulations on your new puppy!!!! (The puppy should’ve stayed with the mum until 8 weeks of age, the mom teaches the puppy a lot). Anyways…. So exciting. Sounds like she’s a little sassy thing lol. If she’s already showing signs of being protective that’s not good. Your going to have to put in some extra long hours with her. Start taking her places and getting her used to people. Don’t let people pet her just let her know it’s safe for other people to be around. Or when she gets bigger your going to have your hands full!!! Her ears might flop again and that’s ok it’s normal. Give bones for her to chew on. That helps build ear muscle! Meet Christmas to you both and again congrats. You have a best friend for life now!!!! Such a blessing. Always here if you need anything! Would love to know her name?!?!?!
@Neu County yea thanks for all advice! She's brilliant with everyone in my household, by protective i sort of mean when postman comes to the door or there's banging outside her ears go up and she starts yapping looking in the direction 😂 tbh I'm wanting her as a family/guard dog.. I took her out around a few shops yesterday with me and she was really good too.. everyday I spend at least 20 mins just getting her to sit and come to me, just basic things but she's so quick at picking it up. Although least 50% of her toilet goings are on the puppy pads too. She seems much quicker at picking things up than the Akita's i kept in the past. They were clever but a bit lazy 😂 .. she seems eager to please and she is also good with my partners 2 old dogs. She has 2 old springer crosses (14 years old) and altho she was wanting to play amd nipping at first now she just wants to lay with them and be with them in the kitchen. I'm really pleases so far. Oh and yea I wasn't best pleased that I had to get her so soon, I was supposed to pick her up at 8 week after Christmas but owner's seemed to want rid before Christmas. I'm not sure if it was a money thing or what. Anyway she's fine and I'm putting in the work. Thanks for all advice too! I take it all on board.
@Neu County I'm just uploading a quick 40 second video if you get time take a look .. iv been told her colour is dark mahogany?.. she is very dark brown ish with black under parts mask and black bits. Her mum was pure black and dad normal fawn.
