In fact I would not have even known about this drama, and I certainly knew nothing about Arthur Chen, were it not for a excellent piece I read written about his dad and his dad's wish that his dad's concern about the darkness of the entertainment industry in China. His son's name was in his dad's comments. Later that day I was on my YT page and happened to see CFY's name and a drama attached to the name. I would also be very hesitant to assume that on the basis of someone's opinion piece that it is the truth. I am sure that they are plenty of people who are angry about his dad's comments about the darkness of the entertainment industry and questionable ethics and morality.

@@saved2K The only reason I even watched this series is because I read Chen Kaige's comments about the darkness of the entertainment industry when his then 17 year old son wanted to become an actor. It was an excellent piece of writing. Why was I interested? A day later on my YT page I happened to notice a new drama on my YT page: "Lighter and Princess" and his son's name. I would hesitate to pass such judgment on CFY's mom based on an article on Weibo. Whether it is here is the US or in other countries, there is a very dark side to the entertainment industry. This is an incredibly wonderful drama. Which is better? Absolutely denying your then 17 year old son his wish to be an actor but not an idol or be actively involved in guiding him because the two people guiding him who are guiding him know the pitfalls?

I cudn't get enough of these two! I was a late bloomer, watching them just recently, and im still thirshty of them, lol. The drama is like a 1000/100! And when i saw their bts both official and also fantaken, my heart is aching for they are soooooo sweet even off cam🥲🥲 Gosh. Gosh. The way HE KEPT LOOKING AT HER SO DEEP, like, i don't know man, arthur boi, what were you searching on her face that you gotta twisted your neck like that? Like you couldn't get enough of her, so you kept coming back, so you could etched her beautiful smile on your mind? were you just missed her already when she was litteray stand by your side? Oh, curiosity got the best of me, so i've been digging all of his past works bts, I'm not trying to be rude or insulting his previous leading ladies, Arthur has been really good,.playful and get along with the others, but none of it showing him being smitten and infatuated like him with jingyi. 🥲🥲🥲 Boy got it bad, and it show😂😅 And one thing i notice from the earliest video shown here, he let her kept his personal phone inside her pocket🥲 I mean, when he could just let his assistant hold it for him😁 I mean, those whose infatuated always want everything to be tangled with the one they like 😆

Good observation . I just discovered them lately esp Arthur Chen.been seeing Jingyi but this is the first time I’ve watched these two at work. Well I’m impressed a lot of potentials for the two already knows how to use eyes to convey emotions. Trying hard not to go into that shipping mode because their personal lives a different story. BUT with all this sweet BTS, fans can’t help but notice them and hoping for another collab …you’re right guess someone was smitten hard during the shoot 🫢 at least they enjoyed and had fun BTS let’s hope for the best

They could really convey all the emotion, even without blurting any lines. They could deliver such a light and heavy feeling with a different set of longing, hesitation, reverie, and animosity. Everything looks so natural, they are really full of potential. No matter what kind of role later they might have, they gonna def eat it! And yeah, actually I was kinda reluctant with shipping the real actors' agenda, hahaha. But my hopeless romantic cells got electrified and surely awaken the moment I saw their bts interaction and also their live stream which took a year after, yet, Arthur still looked at Jingyi with the same puppy eyes. Don't blame me, arthur! You're the one who brings it upon yourself 😁
Yes one of the best BTS fans surely clamor for more. I was just watching one last night there was a scene in the bar both in black drinking and standing side by side. In the series , Li was drinking and Zhu drinking with a the straw .there were no holding but the BTS showed different left arm of Arthur was around the shoulder of Jingyi ..not sure if they cut it or I just miss it anyways we are not done with these two cuties yet 👌actually that clip is included here
