The other day I was lucky enough to have @discraftdiscgolf reach out to me to send out one of the new Zone OS test flight discs. Of course I said yes in a heartbeat! So now to really put this disc to the test and see if it can make my bag, I'm putting it through a 2 part review! In the first video, I played 9 holes using just the Discraft Zone OS so I could get a feel for how it flies. Now for part 2, I'll be comparing the Zone OS to a regular ESP Zone as well as a Cryztal FLX Get Freaky Zone! It's time to find out which Discraft Zone is the BEST!

That Zone OS is so good if you forehand roll it. Just completely vertical and it rolls a long ways. Thanks for the video!
I use the baobab for those rollers. It’s essentially the same disc but the baobab is a harder plastic and has a flat edge so it rolled better and straighter

Just bagged a Get Freaky. Removed the Discraft logo and the "Get Freaky" part of the stamp. Look so clean!
To be honest it’s a pretty dope stamp. I wish I had mine in a different colour

The Z FLX Zone OS is in between a "Z Zone OS" and a "Z FLX Zone". Would highly recommend it. As for the Z Zone OS, I am not sure it is usable other than maybe a utility disc.
I bag a Z zone for stability and a skip, and I have a jawbreaker Zone that is slightly straighter with a good fade at the slow speed, it also has a bit more glide. The jawbreaker is great to smooth on some hyzer and have it ride the penetrating hyzer line the whole way and then not get too much ground play. The Z zone is a beefy guy though for sure, I’m pretty sure the ZoneOS you have there is Z plastic as well. I’m about to order a Z Mettalic Swirl Zone though to try out
Ya crazy how many different plastics there are for the zone and what they all make it do differently. I’m not super familiar with all of Discrafts plastics I pretty much have only ever used esp, jawbreaker, or cryztal flex
@@discgolfjustice cryztal flex has similarities to the Z plastic, Z is part of the blend they use to make Cryztal flex. Discraft honestly has some of the best plastic options, Corey Ellis is one of my homies (Discraft pro) so when I started I was all about Discraft. I still bag a pretty good amount of Discraft but I fell in love with Raiders and Escapes so I started exploring Trilogy drivers, almost all of my Drivers are trilogy made at this point
I think I will try the Zone OS in the bag as my scramble shot. There is at least once on a course where I find myself in an awkward position in the woods and wanted my Zone to be more of a beefcake.
It definitely has its use cases for sure!
I have an esp flx zone, it's dope because it absorbs impact. But, seems like you don't need it for that #Sydneygrass...lol.... New to your channel and heard it first video I saw of yours, but I feel ya on that thick grass. It gets grabby here in Florida too!

That OS is off the chain. But I see it's use.....of the zone bit, how are those Idio kicks faring? Worth the investment?
Ya I can definitely see it’s use but I don’t think it’s a disc I’d be pulling out often. I’m digging the idios 💯💯 solid shoe in my opinion

Isn’t the zone os in regular z-line plastic?
I’m not familiar enough with Discrafts plastic but it’s possible! I don’t think I’ve had any z plastic discs
@@discgolfjustice their stock translucent plastic is z-line. Cryztal flx is gummier, like your get freaky. I did see a video where they said that a mix of z and esp makes big z. Either way, I can’t wait to try one!
