Thanks man. I saw some feedback to do it like this, and I feel it's a good build up to the main event.
appreciate those time stamps my man!
Miranda Maverick just finished with College and I have said she will be a top contender once she graduates and she just finished school and she's had her first 12 week camp. I heard her say on an interview her previous longest camp before this was around 3 to 4 weeks and when you are a full time college student you can't really get the time in to really prepare. So I think now that she is dedicated to fighting and school is finished she will come into her prime. She is built like a tank compared to most other 125'ers and she's young, strong as a bull, and is a well rounded. So I think we will now see her full potential.
Who cares
Obviously op does or they wouldnt have posted. Why be a douche?@honkeykong4049
She got robbed in the Maycee Barber fight.
@@Adm_Guirk That is the fight that made me a fan of hers, she lost a close decision that I think was just down to bias judging due to Barbers. Then she beat the crap out of Priscila Cachoeira and proved Cachoeira is a cheater when she tried to hook Miranda's shirt right before the arm bar. I think Miranda has the skills to be a well rounded fighter. Now that she's done with school she can really dedicate the right amount of time to the sport. Cheers!!
Her cardio is really bad though, she gets tired in 1.5 rounds. Also her striking is just not there, Dern probably has better striking than her

I’m glad you’re going with Roman Kopylov and Geoff Neal. I think those are really good underdogs to bet on but I have a lot of neigh sayers in my fight friends group. I got Volk too and Whittaker all day.
“Sean can’t hang with Alex on the feet so he can’t hang with Adesanya”. Idk man, that was a perfect line of reasoning at the time 😂. I think we just split off into the bizarro timeline when Usman got headkicked.
I mean, yeah, that's exactly the point he's making bud.
@@BodTheGrinch No, his point was you shouldn’t use MMA math to predict fights . MMA math is a useful tool when it’s hard to predict a fight using only stylistic math-ups. Even from a style standpoint , on paper, Izzy had all the tools to dust Sean yet didn’t. Writing off the whole concept because it’s not a perfect science is a bit silly, pal.
@@mumkeymumkey4078 Uh, MMA math is literally just X beat Y, and Z beat X, therefore Z beats Y. Comparing styles is entirely absent from MMA math. That's why it's useless. You can write off the entire concept because it provides absolutely no insight.
@@BodTheGrinch Well, of course context matters, but yes if X embarrasses Y in a fight then X and Z have three wars, I don’t see how it’s a leap in logic to think X and Z might be a step ahead of Y. Even more so if Y went tooth and nail with someone Z beat dominantly. But, as I said before, the concept of MMA math should be used to help in an overall prediction not the overall thing.
@@mumkeymumkey4078 Mate, again, that's exactly the point. You're exactly making his point. Yes, it doesn't SEEM like a leap in logic to use those kinds of MMA math equations. It just so happens that they're completely and totally unreliable. Famously so.
Feels good to finally see someone picking Volk! I feel like he’s getting counted more than he should be.
It's the 1 and 20 for fighters 35 and over in championship bouts
@@dmitch812 That stat doesn't mean anything. What matters is his recent fights. So long as there's no lasting damage from the last one, that one is irrelevant. No camp, surgery, totally out of shape. His last 145 fight was absolutely dominance. His 155 fight was similarly dominant, in spite of the loss to meaningless ground control. He's only a few months older, but because of his loss and what people are saying, I'd say he's more mentally driven than his last 145 fight. With no lasting damage from the last fight, I can see him making this look easy.

My predictions : Volk ❤ Costa 🔥 Merab 👺 Ian Garry 💯 Let's Go 🥰
Fans don't want Ian Garry to win coz they hate his personality but forget he is a great fighter !!!
@HogwartsDropout7 Nope Nope Yep Yep. 50/50. Could be worse. I didn't even bother trying to predict these myself.
so glad you talked about Rinya as the prospect of the night. That guy is one of my favorite up and coming fighters and there's honestly so much potential for his future in mma. He has a great wrestling background so I was happy to see that in his last fight, and we know he's got hands. I think he just needs some time in mma and the guy could honestly be a top 10 fighter soon.
mad haircut as well it either means greatness or total failure with no in-between
I think this guy will go farther than Tatsuro Tiara. Tatsuro is younger, so he still has 3-4 years to work on his stand-up, before he gets to be his late 20s like Rinya. That said, Rinya is really well rounded, even though he had only transitioned from wrestling and Judo to MMA. His striking already is approaching Top 10 level (even though he hasn't entered the Top 15). For elite wrestlers, who NORMALLY don't do that well in the striking department, Rinya is quite exceptional. He reminds me of a smaller version of another elite wrestler who has also just transitioned to MMA: Bo Nickal. Both are very coordinated in their stand-up, despite being wrestlers their entire lives... Unlike Tatsuro Tiara, Rinya also has one-punch KO ability, alongside his elite wrestling and elite BJJ skills. MMA is not predictable, for between the two Japanese prospect, I am much more enthusiatic about Rinya Nakamura's chances. With a little more experience and a bit more polishing to his striking & you're talking about an all-around Top prospect for the Bantamweight... because as said both his wrestling and BJJ are already very high levels, due to his having been a wrestler his while life.
@@kiabtoomlauj6249 I agree with everything you said, I think the Thing about Taira is that he was touted as Japan’s next big prospect, when all he really has is his BJJ. The problem with Taira is he’s a specialist, whereas Rinya is, like you said, an all rounder. They both have inexperience in MMA but Rinya has a spark about him and more well rounded attributes that could make him a contender. Taira needs a lot more training to really get to that level, but I think he could become something with some more consistency. It’s interesting though I look at Japanese prospected fighters in the UFC often and most don’t really feel all that special to me, especially once Tatsuro Taira got a lot of praise. I think that KO by Rinya in the Road to the UFC really samented his place as a rising star. That and his proficiency in English and insanely respectful attitude can make him a fan favorite really quickly
Nah man Fluffy is underrated AF and while I do think Kopylov is a tremendous fighter this is a much closer matchup than 70/30
He has it wrong I'm seeing Hernandez as the 2-1 favorite everywhere else
@peteyalyanak Well ol Fluffy just proved he is going to be a problem. Dude is relentless with takedowns just like Khabib was.
weael is always making us money. just bet against his main event pick
Exactly😂
I was wondering if you can tell me what app you use to make your vids because I want to start making MMA videos
Bro you’re tripping giving kopylov that big of a chance. His takedown defense is good but he has some of the worst ground game in the entire ufc. Also kopylov tends to be a bit of a punching bag when he’s pushed to the fence. Hernandez just needs one takedown to win the round.
Couldn’t believe he’s giving fluffy such a small chance haha. I like both guys but I feel like fluffy will at least have a solid chance to grapple kopylov to a decision
@@ratmcratty5033 If Hernandez can't take Kopylov down, he will be chopped liver, literally. Hernandez is one of the tough SOBs I've ever seen... but it's largely on the ground. The way a much larger guy with superior wrestling and superior BJJ, Rodolfo Vieira, who emptied his gas tank trying in vain to sub Hernandez ---- a Vieira who ended up being subbed by Anthony himself --- that tells you how tough and good Hernandez is. Standing, unfortunately, Anthony has no chance against the elite striker in Kopylov, whose TDD & BJJ, fortunately for Hernandez, are pretty suspect, so, Hernandez does have a decent chance....
I was gonna say this his best weapon is actually his gas tank he puts on crazy nonstop pressure and by the last rd he just ragdolls dudes but i expect kopilov will make it interesting the forst few rds

Of the more skilled or better known fighting match-ups, the Hernandez-Kopylov will likely be one of the Weasel's correct picks. Ilia's chances are way higher than Volks; and unless Dern could take Lemos down (which is doable, given Lemos is exiting her prime, at 36), chance of Dern being KOed or TKOed are rather high, given how much faster Zhang is and Lemos could still get to Zhang's face a few times, hard, too. The Weasel should be watched for his POST-FIGHT frame by frame analysis; but his picks pre-fights, AMONG THE MARQUEE fighters (two comparably elite guys, at the #1 level or at the championship level), are VERY MEDIOCRE, at best. I've been watching and studying The Weasel's picks --- again, focusing on mainly marque fights, as I don't watch 95% of the other average MMA fights --- since the Conor-Dustin II fight... and he got MOST of them wrong. I picked, on those marquee fights, almost the exact opposite of the Weasel and, of course, that means I got MOST of them correctly picked. And the Weasel is right: that does NOT mean I know more about MMA than he does. I simply am more tuned to some fights than he is. For example, my definitions of "marquee fights" are as follows (not an exhausted list but only those I studied and picked): Conor-Dustin II & III... Charles-Chandler... Charles-Dustin... Charles-Gaethje... Charles-Islam... Leon-Usman II & III... Leon-Colby.... Alex-Izzy I & II.... Benny-Charles... Benny-Arman.... Islam-Alex I & II The Weasel got most of them wrong, except the Alex-Izzy I fight, the Benny-Charles fight, Islam-Alex I & II and the Benny-Arman fight. I got EVERY ONE of these above correct EXCEPT the Alex-Izzy I fight. (.... I picked Izzy both times and the Weasel picked Alex both times, so we're wrong 50% of the time on those two fights. If I didn't watch a certain major fight or didn't pick, for a reason... and the Weasel picked a winner and it turned out, he picked the wrong one, I don't even count, in my view of his bad picks. It's only those I decided to watch, study, and pick that I would contrast/compared his picks vs mine... and mine, again, is humbly way better than his....) The Benny-Charles and Benny-Arman as well as the Islam-Alex I & II fights were RELATIVELY EASY...so I was not surprised the Weasel picked them correctly as did I. P.S. I understand WHY the Weasel picked Usman and Colby over Leon in the 3 consecutive fights Leon had against those two top Welterweight; I understand why he picked Charles over Islam.... and, before that, why he picked Chandler, Gaethje, and Dustin over Charles: Charles is VERY hittable. I watched GSP did a very good analysis on that ground breaking Charles-Chandler fight, too, and GSP picked Chandler to KO Charles, too, even though he said Charles had MORE WAYS TO WIN... Again, picking MMA fights more successfuly DOES NOT MEAN one has more knowledge of MMA. It goes without saying both the Weasel and GSP know more about MMA than I do. But again my ears and brain are just better calibrated on A CERTAIN MARQUEE FIGHTS than theirs... And I understand why the Weasel, for Arman-Charles upcoming fight, picks Charles over Arman. I will pick Arman over Charles.... just like I picked Ilia over Alex, and Merab over Cejudo. When it's complex, elite fights, my picks are almost always the opposite of the Weasel's & it's only AFTER I've picked my picks that I watch his video, NOT before (because I don't want his well taped, well spoken videos to influence my picks)....
It's gonna be a banger!!!
Nakamura is LETHAL, that ko of kazama was terrifying
To see his striking get that dangerous is impressive for a wrestler
Volk is gonna make this look the Yair fight. Ya'll just really want the suspense of doubting him and hyping Topuria cuz it sells.... but the Weasle doesnt lie
His picks aren't turning out very good so far. 🤷♂️
@MatthewMachuDidge I don't recall Volk getting knocked out by Yair. I may have to go see that one again.
A agree about McKenzie
I like this card a lot, i was making my picks on Sherdog while i listened to this. My opinion about the Volk Topuria fight is that i don't think Volk is out of his prime at 35, and i don't think Topuria is at his prime at 27, i can see Volk shutting him down, but in two years it would be a completely different story.
Volks IS 2-3 years out of his prime....and Ilia is ENTERING his early prime. People just don't understand it, bedause Volk has been such an extraordinary physical specimen; but he HAS already started to slow down... seen in his last 4 fights, which he won only 50% of them. It doesn't matter what division he fights in, IF HE GOES AND FIGHTS in a certain division, he's doing it to WIN... not "to see what happens." Losing 50% of his last 4 fights, again, means Volks IS EXITING HIS PRIME. You guys just want to stay in your comfortable thoughts about how Alex once was so untouchable. But he is, unfortunately, a part of the past. Ilia is PEAKING... Ilia is not some dude, like BSD --- the former French Special Forces ---- who transitioned to pro MMA in his early to late 20s.... Instead, Tuporia elected to go from Greco Roman & BJJ to full time MMA in his teens. That means he is peaking a few years faster than most guys. Yes, Ilia has NOWHERE the experience or skill repertoire that Alex has... but being over 35 and roughly 8 years older than Tuporia, the 2% - 5% of decline in reflexes Alex has suffered from, not to say anything about that KO loss..... that's VERY LIKELY enough to tilt things toward the young, fresher, and hungrier Tuporia, who, like Alex, also is a very well rounded fighter....
@@kiabtoomlauj6249he won 50% of his last 4 is sucha stupid take to push a narrative,Islam is just an absolute monster,no shame to losing to the best especially with short notice.

Are the “weights” on the fighter stats their walk around weight?
Volk has all the skills and experience to win and is the smarter pick. But I think Ilia is getting him at the right time. He's also very good, very dangerous and very confident.
I have this weird hunch that we see a laser focused and reinvented version of Paulo costa. It seems like his back is against the wall with the UFC. If he doesn’t finally show up to a fight and actually perform, they might be done with him since he has a million dollar fight contract and he’s kind of a liability

I honestly see volk using his wrestling offensively, as a tactic to stop illia from hard charging in with punches, volk might jab lowkcik and shoot, and honestly i see him getting takedowns, this guy wrestled and did well in scrambles with islam makhachev lets not forget. @erikmorales17 Nope. But that was close in the first round. Robert tends to somehow get hurt in every high level fight though. Only Dricus and Adesanya have been able to stop him completely with strikes. That I know of.
People keep comparing the main event to Conor vs Aldo. But it really isn't. Topuria isn't anywhere near as dangerous as prime 145 conor.
@alexandermarijuantuck4076 I do agree he isn't like Conor. but yea. He is obviously plenty dangerous. I don't recall anyone else in featherweight knocking out Volk.

Mingyangs been inactive for almost 2 years and if you look at the guys he’s fought, they all almost have more losses than wins. Ribeiro is coming off a big win against lopes who was suppose to run through him and be a good contender. I’m going with Riberio.

Weasle you are so freaking awesome! I’m with you on Neal! Although I’ve got Geoff Neal walking through Ian Garry! On a slightly different opinion, I have Volk making it look easy against Topuria by decision. Let’s GO!
The competition Volk has beaten already is way above Topuria so I'm pretty surprised at the odds. I mean Ortega, Holloway, Rodriguez and who has Topuria beat? Josh Emmet is about it. I see Volk crushing him easily.
No mention of Ian Garry's kicks ??? Surely a huge factor in this open stance fight, you'd assume Garry will be firing rear body kicks all day
It's always weird to me hearing Weasle act thirsty lol
Long time champs usually have their toughest challenge when they face next generation fighters. Dominick/Cody Patricio/AJ Mcee. When Aj Mcee beat Patricio it gave me Jon Jones vs Shogun Rua vibes. If Volk can get past this he is something else. 🔥🔥🔥

Guys, this may not age well but I have a feeling that costa is either going to ko rob or win a a UD or just prove he can fight but lose.
Topurias notable wins vs Volks wins aren’t even comparable 😂
No shit he's the long reigning champ genius
That’s why it’s the old guy vs the young guy.
Geoff, Costa, cejudo, topuria underdogs let’s go
What’s good early gang, who we got winning main event?
I put money on volk but won't be surprised if he gets chined
for some reason i just feel that costa is going to show up and ko rob badly. that he will commit to the bum rush eat a few clean shots but catch rob with some spastic left hook at the end of his combination.
That sound in the background is killing me
The 1 2 high kick by Whittaker by now is like your playing Street Fighter on the SNES back in the day. If Costa gets caught by that he deserves to loose. I gotta go Costa and I have no idea why just a feeling. Garry ain't powerful he's a volume striker 100 per cent, he's good for sure but I'm betting Neal. I like his heart, experience, his silence lol but the lock of the card imo is Volks. Peace.

I think we will be upset for whittaker.....i hope im wrong but idk if he can take a shot anymore and paulo is not a guy to fight in this case. I hope im wrong
They talk about Merab being ‘the future’. I didn’t realise he’s 33. ‘The future’ had better hurry up.
How is Volk the greatest featherweight ever w a win?? Right now he got 4 defenses. 2 against max(good wins), ortega, and old zombie. Thats it..and he beats Toupouria, who definitely seems special, but hasnt beat alot of great competition either. Aldo had 8 defense, and reigned like 3 or 4 more years longer, and against better competition..come on man
Nah there’s definitely an argument for both, personally volks going the right direction
@@amargill2453 well yea hes going the right direction obviously, as long as he keeps winning..but a win over Toupouria doesn't place him over Aldo.
And Yair
@@DJ-dh3oe i did forget about Yair..i think if volk beats Toupouria and another up an comer, that he will be in the discussion for sure or as equal..but if he gets 3 more defenses, he is new king
I just don't see it mate ian garry gonna dominant him on the bk foot to a ud his footwork is amazing cant believe you picking geoff neal wow
