I love hearing the employees and/or customers laughing and being happy in the background. It enhances the heartwarming feel of the video. :)
As a chef, I don't watch cooking shows. But I'll watch the highlights of another chefs shift. Thanks for all the really tight shots, especially of the finished product. That helps a lot. Great looking plates.
I just wanted to say thank you for sharing these with the world. I always feel privileged to be able to watch the skills of the chefs and the cooks who prepare these things.
Not only am I now hungry and want to reach through the screen to taste that delicious looking food, but amazed at the skill of the chef working through each dish with care, truly amazing.
I am always impressed with the with the organization, all the careful prep work, the fresh foods. Also, how the kitchen is set up with the minimal steps needed at the stove. Everything is so well placed there is no wasted movements. It is like a beautiful, flowing dance. Impressive to watch. I wish I could dine there. Thank you for sharing. It made me happy to watch. May your lives be blessed. 💐
I agree. But I always wonder why the kitchen floors are always so rough and dirty, unlike the rest of the restaurant floor, maybe not given much attention because is not seen as much?
@@pauloseibert I saw one video of a Japanese restaurant like this that had a narrow, covered drain running the full length down the work area. So maybe they power wash it after service. It is certainly disconcerting to see them splash water around with great abandon…😆
@@Roheryn100 washing the floor after your shift will suffice, the rest is just visual
Hi Annie. A kiss from Switzerland.
Look delicious 😋
Japanese know how to cook! Just amazed at how good everything looked!!
Thank you for the great attention to detail & zooming in on the dishes! I want to taste all of the foods shown here SO BAD! Love how organized the chef and his staff are with the food and everything else. I would be honored to eat at this establishment.
Thanks for such a great video of Japanese street food on Yakisoba, Okonomiyaki cooking skills 👍
The rituals that go into prepping a restaurant for service are amazing. Thank you for your amazing videos.
Everything is made to order. No sitting under a heating light or in a heating drawer. The smells must be incredible. ❤
Nice to see a place that wasn't obviously micro-scrubbed down just before rolling the camera and the workers being on their best behavior. Really enjoyed it.
I havn't had true yakisoba since the 1990's when I was stationed with the military in Japan. I still miss the taste of it, I would have it every week. I think I was addicted to it. If you are going to have an addiction, this is the one to have.
wish they had close caption love to all those dishes that were cooked
This is why it's called, "Culinary Arts", this man is a true artist.
He just slapped stuff on a griddle. No seasoning. No Mastery.
@@mimibee626this food taste better than the McDonald’s you eat everyday XD
@@mimibee626idk man, i tried cooking on a griddle once and i SUCKED at it. there's skill involved
Such superior prep work and beautiful movement of well co-ordinated product blending simplify the frying and platter assembly! Think I have learned much from this accomplished chef.
Que video tan bonito, gracias maestro.
I could stay all day long only watching this man working........ It's sooo relaxing!! (and it looks like very tasting too)
this looks super yummy. keep on doing great work!
my guilty pleasure.. watching these types of videos while on a diet... i'm currently fasting too 😐😂
Another soothing food video to fall asleep to. Thank you!
Que hermosa cocina, que calidad de maestro.
He is a great master, thanks for the video.
Everything looks so good 😊🤤
I really appreciate that you break the eggs in a bowl before putting it into the Cabbage. Making sure the eggs aren't bad so you don't ruin the batch 😄
22:03 the 1-2-3-4 rhythm of cutting the okonomiyaki. It’s lyrical. Since the chef had done this so many times. Beautiful.
I love Yakisoba.
This looks delicious. What a cool video. Very entertaining as well. Lots of hard work and care goes into each bowl. Wishing I could have some now:)
Comparatively it may not have been long, but I worked a griddle for six years and this is really bringing me back. I loved my time working that big ol hunk of metal. Thank you for the nostalgia
It makes me want a flat top at home. But I'll bet it gets hot!
Japan just rocks the best food all around. One of couple places I've been where I never consider food prep or handling...this looks awesome!
Wow! These people are artists not just chefs. Thank you for this!
SERIOUSLY hungry now--- I need to find some or learn how to do this--it all looks sooooo delicious!! Thank you for sharing this video!!!
Wow we in PADYAKRO TEEN BIKERS we always want yakisoba thank you for this video we love it.
Absolutely no such thing as food arriving cold here. It's still cooking! Amazing!! :)
Woww i love japanese food.... Thank you for sharing this vedeo...
Okonomiyaki and yakisoba are really delicious. Thank you for the delicious video ^^
Learned so much , excellent video, thank you
The food looks amazing. I wish one day to try this :)
It all looked so good. Makes me hungry. Lol. Thx for sharing. Watching from Ontario Canada 🇨🇦 😅
The Japanese food is absolutely delicious and extremely good 😍😋😊.
Beautiful stuff - there is one invaluable secret here for the yakisoba okonomiyaki - thank you !
Great stuff. I always learn so much from watching your videos. Thank you! Subarashī mono. Watashi wa itsumo anata no bideo o mite totemo benkyō ni narimasu. Arigatō!
I have to get over there at least once, if only to sample this amazing cooking!
man i love the sound cabbage makes when it's being sliced. now that's real ASMR!
All compliments......I become so hungry, watching this👌🙂 Allso, catch some good ideas👍 🍀👋
You are a gifted chef !! That skill though 👌!!!❤
I doubt the KZheadr is the chef himself. He’s just filming. 🙄
The fact that this is considered as streetfood in Japan, speaks for itself. ^^ As a German, if I relate our streetfood to this, it is most of the time unhealty, not very nurishing and often of very low quality. This here is the real stuff you want to eat!
Well, I wouldn't consider that food as healthy with this amount of fatty meat and the small amount of fresh vegetables.
@@KitsuneHB Yeah maybe I over exaggerated a bit there, but it's healthier at least, let's put it that way. 😅✌️
What you ignore is that what you call street food is delivered in a busy city, constant customers, constant flow. This video is of a small time village, only a few customers per hour, so obviously there's more time to prepare and care for the food.
That first plate looked so yummy 🤤
Hello!!! This is a very good video. All the food on it looks super yummy. Great video!!!...
always watch these kind of food videos whenever I am eating myself
The precision involved in the cooking reminds me of watching a surgeon undertaking a delicate procedure, ( the hygiene isnt to far off either) it is mesmerizing to watch. Not to mention how it wets the appetite, some of the dishes look so tasty and fresh. The calmness and preparation all come into play. Excellent work.
Ummm what? Did you not see the tile backslash at the beginning? Missing tiles and black mold behind it and dirty grout! I would never eat there that's a health code violation in most countries
I wish you could smell it....looks amazing. I am going to Tokyo in 5 weeks..cant wait !!
All so organised and precise ,making me hungry now . We miss this in the UK
this guy is the real deal, effortless. bravo!
So satisfying 😍
The many different varieties and combinations of ingredients is enthralling and enlightening !!!
I like the sound when the cabbage chopped this sounds very crunchy
Just sitting here watching this salivating like mad. 🤤👌
Omg that looks amazing, I could eat every bit of it now, would just love to know what all the ingredients are. Luv from Northern Ireland xx
the sound on this video is crazy, it feels like I'm in the kitchen
Excellent preparation excellent food 🥘 🍲 🍱
The food looks delicious ❤👍
Stay hungry my friends! This chef is a master of his craft...Pleasing to watch as I am certain it is to eat! 🇺🇸🎌
The okonomiyaki looks delicious.
Looks so yummy and delicious 😍😍😍😍 best wishes 🌷🌹🌹
Gracias por compartir.
Hi again and the one with octopus and pumpkins :) thx again
Looks so delicious 👍🏻🤤
One of my favorite food 👍🏻😊
The mise en place is everything guys. Never forget
Nothing has made me miss living in Japan more than this video (left over a dozen years ago)
I missed the taste of Japanese OKONOMIYAKI for more than 40 years. 😋😋😋😋😋
lol, the yakisoba money shots at the end 👍 The one remaining thing i wanted to see was what the floors were like at the end of the shift.
Good morning 😊 have a great day
I know you care about your product from the bean sprouts. They look very fresh and purchased daily. Crispy from start to finish. Great looking food!
I love a Japanese food yum😊
Thanks Brother
So mouth watering is this food! Japanese dishes shown here seem so simple, yet artful, and the ingredients are always fresh.
한국임
Okonomiyaki is delicious! I was fortunate enough to try some in Hiroshima. This looks like the Osaka version though. I’m sure it’s delicious nonetheless 😋
It looks so delicious 👍
For me, this is art. God bless these hands.
Looks yummy and delish. Not into Japanese food as most of these I don't have much exposure of the food palette and picky of vegetables and amount of salt content 🧂🤏(gotta watch my salt intake). I would eat the egg steak but prefer my meat well done . I do admire the cooking skills and organization. That food plate looks like Japanese enchiladas 🫔. Great cooking video. 👍
I was already drooling at the pork cutlet cooked in egg then he hit it with the mayo drizzle and I cant handle it I need this in my life!
thanks you
Japanese really know how to make food look really delicious.
I NEED to go to Japan omg I was litrely drooling 🤤🤤
Is there any way possible that any of those dishes aren’t freaking unbelievably delicious!? Need to get over there and visit this joint.
Amazing chef. I want to eat there.
I wanna try all of it - Looks fantastic
Probably the best chef I've ever seen :))
Street food ? My god i wish i knew a place with a chef creating dishes like these !But somehow street food here is 99% pizza, burgers, kebap. some chinese, indian and thai foods but frankly they all end up being rice + variants of meat and just the same sauces/spices/vegetables. Saw this type at beni hama in SF a decade ago and the food was spectacular, but never seen this in Switzerland. It would absolutely work in the largest City, Zürich...i know i would travel the 30miles to go eat there :p
Food looks delicious. Congratulations!
