    • This shows how much stronger little guys are than big guys. Poundage wise, there ain't no biggen that can keep up. The world RAW powerlifting total was set in 1981 by Bill Kazmaier at 1100 KG (2425 lbs) and he nearly got his last DL call for what should've been 2450lbs. That Raw record stood for nearly 40 long years and it's only been marginally beat since. But now we have these guys who are 93 KG doing 9-10X bodyweight totals and then some. The top 3 all lifted like 1900+lbs. And the guy Kazmaier who set the overall record weighted like 320 lbs , there is no comparison. These little guys are way more impressive. I would counter that the most impressive 220 lBs/ 100KG lifter is Cailer Woolum. He Deadlifted like 950lbs at that weight.

  • its very telling that the most intense competitions is between lifters from the USA. It says a lot about the sport and its growth especially in America. It also confirms to me that the IPF made a mistake by getting rid of the USAPL, because of that decision we don't have athletes like Russ, Wheeze, Pitre and others.

    @chaoscrewmedia@chaoscrewmedia Жыл бұрын
    • For sure. Was a tough call with the IPF/USAPL split for both parties, but the USA is the dominant force!
