Youd be suprised to hear about tide pools and the whole concept of low tide then. I am not familiar with the ecosystems of wherever these creatures where caught so I cant back it up, but its plausable to find fish in shallow water, the octopus however looked like alarger species than tide pool dwelling ones

No? Have you done any research? It's not because of any one man catching a couple creatures to eat, it's because of commercial over fishing. People who catch tens of thousands of fish at a time. He isn't to blame in the slightest, actually it's more helpful to encourage this so he doesn't buy them from fishing boats which deplete the ocean of all it's fish so they can't reproduce. Support more sustainable fish farms, and people like this who catch their own portion. It comes off as ignorant to bash someone who is not at all contributing the very problem you accuse him of.
