  • A great idea for a video would be to explain the difference of structure between a literature review for a thesis and one for a research paper. Also it would be great to touch on how to handle the discussion and the introduction without being redundant given that the review paper is about the literature itself.

    @musiqueacoustique1@musiqueacoustique1 Жыл бұрын
    • Thanks for the ideas! Not exactly about the structure, but I do have one video about a systematic review: kzhead.info/sun/mbiiqdiui6eahHk/bejne.html

  • Great content! This was a valuable review and update on what I learned during my doctoral study and in producing research papers for years. Unfortunately, I had to move away from the screen and just listen because the frequent zoom-in and zoom-outs were giving me motion sickness. Anyone who suffers from migraines might feel the same way. Just a suggestion - if you want to change the video to make it visually more interesting, you could film yourself from two different angles and switch angles every few minutes (not every few seconds).

  • Your information is helpful. Unfortunately, I had to stop watching because the repeated zoom-in and zoom-out made me nauseous. I`ve got no problem with adding clips from other video sources. I wonder if other people were affected by the constant zooming in/out motions? I used to get motion sickness as a child and that was linked to migraines.

    @carsoneleanor3583@carsoneleanor3583 Жыл бұрын
    • Sorry to hear that! I'll tell my video editor to do less of this

  • How does this work if you instead go to the end of an article and look at "future recommendations for research"? How would you work backwards and then find sources?

    @sheenaharris4729@sheenaharris4729 Жыл бұрын
    • This would work for finding the research gap and your aim. And then you can follow the same process as in this video for finding sources etc

      @AcademicEnglishNow@AcademicEnglishNow Жыл бұрын
    • Thank s. Another quick question: Have you ever heard of a literature review as being three groups of researchers that disagree with each other about an issue? My program came up with this idea and years later it still makes zero sense. Thanks!
