Fingers crossed for the Tsalala female. I’ve followed her since her mother took such great care of her.
The narration is great, very relaxing. Good summary of the pride activity. Thanks

Thank you for the update 🙂
Amazing update as usal ! Sad to hear the Nkuhuma new loss, this year is tough for every lion there and hope soon they will find new protection with the Kambula males even know one of them was recently injured by the PCM. Hope things don't got worst for any lion coalition or pride soon. Thank for this new incredible video ❤
Excellent work.👍🏽

That was amazing pictures of prides lions!!📷📸🦁
Thank you for all this interesting informations. ❤
Thank you so much
Another great update thank you for your video and time.❤😊
I discovered these Safari videos early in 2020. And I just really enjoyed them. I subscribed to several camps in the area for their videos. I've really grown to love and appreciate and understand lions and the other animals so much. By watching these videos. You get really attached to the different prides and the different lionesses and the pride lions. It's so good to have an update.. I would love to have some of the graphics like the maps of the areas and where the prides are. Would you consider putting a link in the description that we could download them. Great job!
Thanks for the comment. I update the maps every month and to be honest I haven't thought about it, but I may figure out something.
One minute there is joy. The next sad news. Thanks for letting us know how all the lions are getting on ❤️
I love and appreciate this channel so much! Thank you 🙏
Thanks for the lovely comment!
@@allaboutthelionsofsabisand2743 Goodness you are so welcome. Happy I found it. I shared on X bc I think there should be 1 M plus :)
Sad the Nukhumas what has happened to them hopefully they can rest in peace.
The politics are so complicated and detailed, makes it seem like a soap opera. But unlike soap operas, this is very real & much more drama filled. I almost cried several times! ❤
That would be interesting to see; if the younger Nukhuma male lion could join his brothers or the young Talamatie male lion son of the S8 male lion. Maybe the Nukhuma male lion son of the Palin camp male lions.
The Nukhuma son of Plain Camp male lions looks like he will be a strong lone male lion. He looks like his bond with his sister is strong. I wonder if he would bond with other young male lions.
excelent update... big fan
I particularly appreciate the visual map with historic breakdown of family trees and with birthdates. Thanks so much.
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it!
Thanks so much you do a great job I'm always checking hoping for a update
Thanks for the feedback, it's much appreciated !
Thanks for the update
I'm rooting for the Talamati Pride ... They have been through so much but they are a trio of strong lions learning to survive while staying off the radar.
Love this update, thank you so much.
It’s crazy to think that nkuhuma male is one of the oldest lion in sabi sands now and he has never been king. that’s a hard life for a very social cat.
The Southern Avoca male lion looks like he is still fighting. I just wonder where are his sub adult sons and his younger sons. The young Southern Avoca son from the Plain camp pride; had he been seen?
He seems to have returned to Kruger, I have no updates on him for the last couple of weeks.
Interesting I did not know how many cubs the Gijima male lions had. It seems the Gijima male lions the Palin camp male lions and the Nazehngas male lions have many cubs.
Excellent summary, thanks for that news.🍀🍀🍀
This was outstanding,
thank you👍
Excellent update thanks
I wonder if that means the Black Damb males lions are going to be more north now away from the Nukhuma lionesses. The Kruger male lions have been around the Nukhuma lionesses?
As far as I know, there have been no interactions between the Nkuhumas and the Kruger males reported.
In case it’s not said enough, thank you for all of this.
Thanks for the comment !!
So devastated by the news of the NK female. I didn't know the Kambula males had started showing interest in their sister. I was wondering if/when that would happen.
Kambula foi atacado 😮
apparently the Kambulas got into a fight with the Plainscamp males yesterday morning, but so far there have been no updates besides that the Kambulas are scattered and one of them is injured. I'll give an update when more info becomes available.
keep it up!♥
Complimenti per il canale, interessantissimo
Thank you as always. Love these updates 💯🙏
Thanks for the kind feedback!
Two Sand River Males were recently seen, and the third member looked like a young lioness...(or a smaller/younger maneless male)
good to hear, thanks for sharing !!
Mangheni cubs are 5 male and 5 female according to a western ranger. Youngest cub was born in June.
Thanks for the update, it's much appreciated !
Thanks a lot for the updates!!! You've done excellent job! Greets from Croatia! 👍 ♥♥
Thanks for the feedback !! Greetings back from Germany
@@allaboutthelionsofsabisand2743 Respect! 👍❤ ...

Have seen this clip before.
Is interesting the Kambula pride had mostly male lion cubs? I am still thinking about the Kambula lionesses who had 5 cub male lions.
Out of the 10 older Kambula cubs, there are at least 3 females, the others seem to be predominantly male. The 3 younger cubs born in Aug are 1F/1M the third is not yet confirmed.
They usually have more males then females because of the high death rate of male lions. Seems crazy but yeah.
That is interesting. The lioness the Kambula lioness if she was still around with her cubs that would have had been 5 more male cubs. 7 or 8 maybe 9 male lions is a lot of cubs. The Kambula male lions are 6. That would be interesting to see.
Hi again. There was something that was making me think a lot. When the comment about how there is 16 cubs with the Kambula prides lionesses and 14 total the Plain camp male lions had with 3 different prides. I was not sure at first why I was thinking about it. There was mentioned of the two older sub adults of the plain camp male lions. Then I started thinking the dominant male lions of the Kambula prides also have more cubs; they have more sub adult cubs or young lions in the Styxt pride, and the Southern pride, but I do understand the comment that it was mostly about their cubs? Most of the cubs in the Kambula prides are from the last two male lions, but I think they also may have some daughters in the Styxt pride? Hopefully they can all grow and be happy. The dominant male lions of the Kambula prides have been a very good and beautiful to see. The Southern pride is now a strong growing pride and their nieces or daughters already have some cubs. The Styxt pride are 5 young lionesses and one young male lion.the Styxt pride can be a big pride.
@@GuillermoOchoa-vy5pm Ndzenga and Kumbula or Nsevu, 16 cubs 6 sub. Msuthlu pride 2 lionesses 5 cubs. Gajima Territory 12 cubs 2 subs Nkuhuma. Southern pride 2 subs and 3 cubs. Plains Camp 12 cubs 2 subs. Styx pride 2 females 1 male.
Great video. Always looking for updates on the PCM. Those boys are in their prime and amazing.
I also want to add 2 big males that came in form Kruger was half bro of plains camp males there a yr older 2 huge males
They shaking thing up with black dam in northern sabi
This 2 males are more impressive in size of half, bro pcm and darker mane.
the thumbnail who are those lions? they look a lot like the mapogos. are these the kambulas?
you're right. It's the Kambulas
I still think there will be a separation of the nkuhuma pride, some lionesses will stay with the BDMS and others with the kambula males
Mohawk coming back sooner or later to get what's his
Just another question but how did you find out which nkuhuma 2021 subadults mothers I’ve tried for so long lol
The cub distribution was Tattered Ear 1F/M , Pale Eyes 1F/1M , Ridge Nose daughter 2F/1M Pale Eye's daughter died in Jan 2023 after she suffered an injury in a buffalo hunt. When the 2 male cubs disappeared 2 months later and Pale Eyes did not go back into estrous, I came to the conclusion that the surviving male cub ist most likely her son. :-)
@@allaboutthelionsofsabisand2743 ooooooh!
I love❤️Lions!! I get upset when they get hurt. 😢
👍👍👍👍🙏☀️🐈🐈🐈💕✨
Cmon NKUHUMA MALE, hope you can rejoin with your KAMBULA BOYS cousins form a strong coalition
The Kambula's just had a run in with Nhzenga's and one got caught and beat up a bit. Lucky...
I had a question how old is Gingerellas partner ? The Othowa lioness Gingerella daughter of Matimbas is 6 years of age? I am not sure, but I think she is younger, but I am not sure how old is her partner?
The Ximunghwe lioness was born in Nov 2012 and Gingerella was born in Oct 2018
I had thought that was the year the Selatie male lions started coming to Sabi Sand in the West in 2012.
@@GuillermoOchoa-vy5pm That's right. They started mating with two Ximunghwe lionesses in June 2012
I noticed one Kambula male lion really does look like Mr.T Mapogo. He must be a distant relative of Mr.T.
They actually are. The grandmothers are the Mhangeni lionesses, daughters of Mr. T and Kinky Tail
Hopefully the young Styxt male lion can find a partner. I would hope he can soem how join the Kambula pride, but the male lions look serious. The Styxt male lion is an older male subadult now even if they know who he is I don’t think they would want him around.
Do we know how many belong to each female I forgot but I believe it was you who posted a video about it
what pride are you referring to?
@@allaboutthelionsofsabisand2743 sorry about that and the kambulas and just found out it’s 8males 5females
Thanks for sharing the info about m/f distribution of the Kambula cubs in the core pride K7 has 2 cubs k5 has 1/3 cubs k10 has 4 cubs k9 has 2 female cubs K8 has 3 cubs (1F/1M, the third cub I'm not certain about) Ntsevu/Kambula Split k2 has 1male cub, adopted by the the core pride K3 has 2F/1M
@@allaboutthelionsofsabisand2743 k8 a other cub probably is male
Sparta Pride no more?
The last Sparta lioness died from a severe hunting injury she had suffered, in Jan 2021 and her daughter was only 18 months old and too young to fend for herself, she died in April 2021.
I said it about the west but someone need to bring stability to the northern sabi sands the nkuhuma pride was primed to be a super pride but ever since Mohawk and blondie tried to take the kambula pride unsuccessfully they’ve never been the same
I know you shouldn't interfear but a lion that was not fighting and in need of medical attention, why did she not get help.no time, maybe😢
Unfortunately the park officials opt for a no interference policy unless the cause of the injury/sickness is caused by humans. Sabi Sand justifies the decision with a healthy lion population in SA, however the matter is handled differently in other regions like the Mara.
Chela is dead...
I just got the news, it's so sad💔
No mapogo no watch
well, the Mapogo were unique and legendary and thankfully we can watch their legacy today.
Sadly, we know nothing more about Delaporte.....
Thank you for always giving all the informative information. I love this channel. Keep up the awesome job, i agree with @pramodn9077, you should have more subscibers.
Thank you for the kind words, I really appreciate it !
