Amanda's pre service routine is weird yet effective.
And Nishida’s serves are just powerful it would feel like a spike.
I think the method to Amanda’s serve is surprise. The receivers usually expect a high toss or something like that but by starting low she gives little warning.
Plus she used it as a diversion to catch them suprised with the sudden serve

Koen Cagurangan true. You can see he really loves the game. Everytime he plays, his mindset is just incredible. He just needs to work on how he won't get block easily with big people.
Rhiza Jhane Does he have a tough time dealing with blocks? I know he can shred receives easily but i haven’t seen him get blocked, granted i haven’t seen many of their games, nor do i know their numbers (Also yes, you can really see it in his face how much fun he’s having and how calm he stays during a game)

I think her serve spins less than regular serve, that's why it's hard to receive
Its a float serve. The routine she does before serving is to calm her nerves I believe.

Amanda's serve is so so so as in so good. Has pretty weird routine yet its so effective. Takes time to perfect the serving since the force from the routine is applied to the ball. When receiving, it really needs proper calculations and the hold and strength in receiving.
Non volleyball players think that the serves of Amanda (first one) are soft and slow, but they're not, trust me.

I believe I once read somewhere that Yuji’s serves in games are thought to be around 115 km/h or 71 m/h which should properly convey how intense they are and the difficulty involved to receive them without the ball flying in some random direction, especially if you have to dive to receive his serve

It's so hard to tell what makes the serves so difficult to receive. It mostly looks like placement - between passers or right on the back line.
Amanda's routine is so weird, but her serves are great. I hope you can include Kang So Hwi in your part two. Samantha is a powerhouse!! I'm amazed P.s: I used to have a classmate from Cuba who was the only one in our school that could ace a jump serve (volleyball is very uncommon here where I live in Chile), and the hits were really strong, so when we had in-school tournaments all the other grades were terrified of him lol
