Which grip did use use for the compare? Vert? Can you also try with angled?
I just got a ban without explanation or duration. I have no idea why. The only program I use when playing is SoundLock, that I learnt about in the official PUBG Latam discord server, thanks to a content creator video published in a only-creators channel of the server. Are SoundLock or programs that limit volume forbidden? I've seen various content creators using them 🙃

It was my case and I just played for fun with no hacks or anything of the like, I was just a normal, mediocre player, not talented, but that spend some considerable money on the game, that I now regret doing. They ruined the AUG. The m4 in my opinion is way better. its not even close
This just makes the Beryl more favourable, AUG was supposed to be more controllable with higher fire rate but packing less damage. Now it has almost nothing on Beryl

SCAR is the 556 gun for range, IMO. My fav overall. Prefer Beryl or Ace over any 556 guns though
agreed scar is amazing for range accurcy but before aug nerf for me atleast i could spray just as good with aug , right now my go 2 are scar - m4 and then aug@@gvrrison717
M4 has the stock, which gives additional, so it's more friendly.
This AUG nerf was really unnecessary. PUBG being try-hards and trying to shove the Beryl/Dragunov as the new meta, breaking the AUG/MK12. I'm moving to the 2 underrated guns, ACE and SCAR.
Agreed. It was nice to see the aug gain popularity against the beryl, which also gave diversity in weapons compared to the beryl. Gg’s

What do you like about the scar? I've literally never used it in a game. Why should I pick it over the others?
@@TolisWorldIf you're not that good at controlling recoil, the scar is nice because the recoil isn't that high
im also all for the ACE, not because i have a preference for one or the other but simply because my stats tells me that i have better hit % with the ACE. so in my hands that is the best weapon. plus it pairs nicely with the bolt action rifles i enjoy using over DMR's@@liberty_t4boo
I've been using the AUG as my primary spray gun since it started being a world spawn, but after today's update I really felt a significant difference in how it handles. The vertical and even horizontal recoil were noticeably different than before, and I was suddenly missing a lot more sprays that I normally hit. The Beryl even feels easier to handle for me now, and I don't usually run 7.62 guns. I saw someone mention something about screen shake, and while I haven't scientifically tested it or anything, that might have something to do with it, too. Either way, I'll likely be going back to the M416 as my primary spray. As Wacky mentioned, the AUG still has a technically lower TTK, but that doesn't really matter as much as controllability in a real fight where targets are moving around, taking cover, etc. For me, the ability to track and keep my sights on target is much more important than a negligible decrease in TTK time. Thanks again for doing the Lord's work, Wacky, lol.

The AUG/ STEYR is my go-to on PUBG. When I served in the NZ Army it was our personal assault weapon. Will have to check out the recoil next time I load up my Xbox. Great Video as always WJ 😊

There is also one more factor - wacky used tactical stock which only reduces weapon sway and increases ADS speed, but has no effect on recoil, whereas heavy stock slightly reduces ADS speed but gives you even more recoil control. Also if you notice how M4 has very comfy recoil you can equip it with half grip or angled grip and the horizontal recoil will be much better, making it very comparable to AUG. Safe to say this nerf isnt enough to bring down the king, but at least the guns should be balanced now. I would also love to see some recoil + time to kill comparisons of SCAR-L as it used to be beginner friendly gun with slightly lower DPS than M4 in the past. Now it lives in the AUGs shadow and I would really love to see if its comparable.

Im a big fan of the current AUG (before the update), and without having tried it after the nerf, i think i would still prefer the AUG. Because in my opinion vertical recoil is easier to learn your brain, versus the horizontal which in pubg is random. But exited to try it out in battle, maybe im gonna be wrong here
Taking the M4 after the update will be an absolute nobrainer for me, considering that both weapons need the same amount of shots to kill a player in every scenario, while the recoil of the AUG is now significantly higher. The difference in time to kill is only due to the slightly lower time between shots for the AUG. Correct me if I'm wrong.
Good work as always Wackey. I play with the AUG as preference, but will take an M416. Can you do another video of this nature comparing the M416 directly to the ACE?

Probably stick with the M416 but that has nothing to do with the quality of skins I have between the two choices 😂
I mostly take the first one I find of the two and keep it. So far I have not decided wich one I prefer, but I slightly like the M4 better.

It's really not much of a nerf. Bullet damage velocity and fire rate are the same
i really got used to the Ace/SLR combo over time.... but if i find and AUG and MK12 it will be my loadout for the game regardless.

I usually play 7.62 ARs but i prefer the AUG for 5.56. The reason is that my feeling of firerate and recoil feels a bit better on the AUG. Additional to that i have no problem with the vertical recoil or kick bec I play the AKM as main AR
I even prefer the Scar over a M416. Sounds insane i know^^

I use the Ace/SLR most of the time. However, I also like to play with the AUG/M4 + Mini. I avoid snipers because I'm suck with them, haha.

nice video ! It basically boils down to: with M4 you hit more shots, with AUG you hit slightly harder. I'd rather take the M4, as missing one bullet due to the higher recoil of the AUG is much more detrimental IMO.
My metric is I win more with the M4 than the Aug.

@WackyJacky101 do you have a video teaching how to use frag grenade and stun? I feel that i'm suck with this throwables and I have lost a lot of opportunities to win a fight with them.
Between M4 and AUG I'm going to most likely run both at once honestly I love the AKM for my cqc the Aug is not a bad choice for cqc with the red dot I usually find myself sporting an m4 with a 4x and tac stock along with the thumb grip akm with comp and red dot My alternative loadout would be the MK12 8x lightweight grip and any barrel attachment would be fine then a Scar with a 2x and I like to carry a laser sight in my UAZ trunk for those drive by situations and run an angle foregrip or a thumb grip if angled is not available. People really underestimate the Scar with that 2x it is by far my favorite weapon with a 2x on it.
Both of them cuz i got battlestat on these 2 + kar 😂 If i can choose its m4 usually though i dont think theres a huge difference i can feel. Kinda same for ak and beryl too if fully equipped.
We need tier list for ar and dmr. Sniper rifles are pretty much same
Always been an AK guy. But out of the two I’d rather go with the M4, the tactical stock has always felt like a sneaky upgrade, that’s why I love the vector so much

I feel the AUG has a really big screen shake, even in comparison with the 7.62 ACE, this is quite disoriented to spray. I usually found myself using more ACE than AUG nowadays.

Did you test m4 with angled or only the vert grip?
What's the point in nerfing the AUG? It's a crate weapon. That's the whole point of the crate - to give players better gear for a higher risk of going for it.

Heavy stock is now the spray attachment, and tactical stock is for singlefire. Look at their stats, they changed them. Flipped it

So how does this compare to 7.62 ARs? Will people gravitate more towards 7.62 ARs or just switch to an M416? I keep hearing about a possibility of PUBG entering a 7.62 meta after this patch, but what exactly does this mean?
I don't fuss I can use both so when I land which ever one I pick up first I keep but if I don't find a tack right away I and see an aug I switch I don't like looting to much
I just noticed I was missing more shots with the Aug recently, so i have been dropping it in favor to the Vector. I thought it was because of my new controller. lol

M416 has always been my workhorse if i need it b4 i swap to m249
m416 with red dot and a mini14 with a 6 scope (sometimes) single amo gives me more room for throwables. but I lean more toward an m24 ace combo. But sometimes I just run with whatever I find first as a personal challenge. This game is more fun when you create a game within the game. start naked, only wear items from victims must change to their weapons, etc. Love WJ for all his antics and perspectives.
Try m16 instead of mini. U might just love it. Or ace /mutant. I keep them both single fire only. Unless pushed close up ofc

I love the sound of the M416. I converted to AUG but since its nerf then I think M416 will be my main AR
I don't know if it's just me, but on the test server I noticed the AUG more difficult to control than the Beryl, both without attachments.
I felt it was very similar. But that could be just me...
AUG & Half/Angled Grip still beats everything and I'm a Beryl main.
Ngl Aug all day I’m up for the challenge bet it will still feel easy to control it. But I’d also be ok if they put it back in care package at original state or even better.

I love them both but the aug definitely is king. Once you use both for a period of time and get used to each guns recoil, having something that kills quicker is quite nice. The m4 just feels right and is hard to pass up though

I choose the one I have a better skin for. I have a stat track aug skin so I use that
I avoid the M4 and all 5.56 weapons unless in a pinch, I'll use the AUG. NOW maybe it's an illusion idk, but I've done better trying to land fewer rounds on my opponents with the 7.62 weaponry than spray-praying with 5.56
Interesting, because for me it feels like AUG has a bigger horizontal recoil than M4 (facts differ). Im really noticing it when spraying +50m range. Could AUGs screenshake be at fault? Anyways - used M4 before and will continue to do so. I just like this gun! They need to put a real effort in nerfing it to change my mind :)

Fun fact. I was playing a couple of days ago with my friend, and we were under the impression that the patch was already live, so we were scolding the Aug for having high recoil (It also felt that way). Then I got an insane game, where I was hitting the nastiest sprays across the map with Thumbgrip aug, and I commented that: "The aug is still insane". Then I found out later that the patch wasn't out yet. So if anyone wonders... Yes, placebo is real.

Beryl with comp and vert + Dragunov is unstoppable
3x aug still feels better than 3x M4 or RD M4 for mid range spray. for short range aug is much more consistant

Being terrible at managing recoil, this is why I still use the SCAR-L for a 5.56mm weapon :)
I think I'll just stick with the beryl since every time I decide I like the aug they nerf it into the ground.

I will probably avoid the Aug now over the beryl and m4. They are focusing too much on the same guns that are already meta. They need to look at other guns at some point that nobody uses over these meta weapons.

I've always liked the M4 more just based just on the sound. I hate the high pitched sound of the AUG.
I love the old M4. But for the current game meta I will choose the AUG.
I always had the feeling that the AUG had very annoying horizontal recoil and thus it never was really viable for me except in very close combat situations.

My choice is always m416 until i found m249. Coz only m4 can carry stock attach and have 5.45 for my favorite machine gun)
The aug is realistically better, the bullpup system adds a huge barrel length giving it better velocity and accuracy, the firing pin being in the rear would give it much better recoil control. Realistically the nerf should hit the reload speed on the aug

M4 is good if you're a newer player, all the attachments make it easy to control. AUG is better when you have more experience.
It's more concerning that in this patch they not only didn't remove dragunov altogether, they buffed it!? Devs are delusional
Good video comparison, I personally prefer the M416 even before this patch so I will continue to use it. Also I think the current meta is leaning too much in favor of ARs over SMGs, which I found MUCH more reliable and they even kill faster in cqc due to body damage multipliers. Mp5k, Mp9 and Ump45 are lasers with virtually no recoil...
I was about to write something similar, i would like to add something tho. After all, at least on a daily basis is better to have consistency than "rocking the most powerfull weapon". Some times i feel like doing beryl or the aug, but mostly i prefer the m4 or the ace wich i believe are more controlable with consistency for me. And since hitting the shots is more important than doing most damage overall, i prefer to leave the aug/beryl meta for those how play more and can manage consistency with them. This remainds me my love/hate relationship with shotguns, they can 1 shot lvl2 gear as far as i can tell, not sure about lvl3, but the thing is the same, you have to hit well otherwise you are probably dead. Lately im starting to go more for SMG, not feeling great on a mid distance battle with them, but in close quarters they delete squads, specially the vector and the ump on all maps and the mp9/mp5 in deston/vikendi. In the end what i do like about the balance of the weapons that is currently in place, is that there is no much reason to not go with the weapons you like of feel better. Each weapon has strengs and weaknesess. I feel like even if all could say that the pump or smg are unbalanced, i didnt see any squad going 4 memebers smg/shoty, maybe 1 or 2 go for it, but ARs are needed aswell, so. I think they finally are getting it right, except for the limb multiplier on smg hahahaha, that needs to go, you want full damage aim for head boy 😂, just saying. @@alan138 Thanks for the reply! I agree with most you said but also think the limb multiplier should stay, otherwise smgs will be too weak compared to ARs. Every time after I get killed because I missed my ar spray 90% of the time I find myself thinking that with an smg I would have won... The biggest problem I find today is that when I land and want to play smgs, I often can't because ARs are everywhere but instead smgs and their ammo is much more rare in comparison with 5.56/7.62...and considering that the game loading tip suggests that "smgs use pistol round so it's easy to stock up!" things are getting a little ridiculous.
@@danielsoul3519 I completely agree about the smg/ammo rarity, what i encounter ridiculous is that some weapons no one use are all over the place like AKM and Mutants. After all this years the world spawn of items is still messed up. I remember a year ago, they said patch after patch that they fixed the vehicle spawn yet i found some POIs like prision in erangel and severny or primorsk, having no vehicles sometimes, becouse the only one was took early from a "coward" how run away when he's teammates where killed. As for the limb multiplier, as for what you said. I mean, if you miss 90% of the spray, you are dead. Saying that you would have won with smg, becouse of the limb multiplier is the same as saying that in that particular case you needed a laser to win. Anyway i cant talk much about that since i recently started testing SMG, usually i aim for head or torso since im already trained to do that. So not that i have tested long and consistently the limb multiplier thing. Is just that i heard of its existence and the concept itself seems like a cheat for smg on paper. No wonder why sometimes i get knoked down from a couple of shots that dindnt touch vest or helmet. And if the idea is that those bodyparts aren't protected, then all weapons should do more damage to those parts. And in the end no one will be aiming for torso anymore, all shots to legs ahaha. Anyway, not that im mad about the limb multiplier really, i dont care much, i keep playing and having fun. Its just that on paper the idea of it, seems to be kind of unfair in close quarters, to the point where if you are closer than 30 metter you have no chance againts them with an AR. Thats why it pisses a lot of ppl i think, end circles are always close quarter combat, so AR's are weak against umpers and smg in general.
@@alan138 I think that limb multiplier for smg comes a bit from the concept that smg rounds do more damage to unarmored parts rather than ap rounds that usually use ARs. Also could s be for pure weapon balance purposes..and anyway you kill faster hitting the head or the body with smgs. Maybe only lvl3 is an exception..
