  • The way Jones set up the choke with rampage was genius. He pushed down on the head with his elbow to make rampage wanna pop his head up, then as soon as he does, he sneaks that arm right under. Beautiful technique

Pick a HGH and Steroider, but Fedor was a favorite of mine / ours due to how passive he was... AND, insanely aggressive... I cannot think a single fighter of any weight class that Jon Jones couldn't take out... Most with EASE... You don't show up to fight him with a gun... You bring 3!

  • Johns ability to string 5 or 6 moves together one after another is unmatched. You never have a second to recover before he sets you up for the next. His long limbs and knowledge of so many finishing moves made him unbeatable. Like a hot knife through butter.

  • Don't know if anyone noticed but when Jones had Shogun against the cage and hit him with that body shot and knee the referee had stopped the fight but Shogun didn't know and was tapping on the mat I saw that and it was a powerful visual I felt bad for Shogun but was like damn Jones is vicious 😔😕

  • 1:25 The ever attentive Big John sees it go limp, but still gives him 2 seconds leeway in case he isnt actually out. It's small choices like this, over the years, that gave him the reputation he has now as one of the best to ever ref. Think about how many refs are dismantled for early stoppages, or the shit Mario Yamasaki(?) gets to this day about his warrior comment. Seeing him get it right after all these years is just as impressive as the fights themselves.
