    • @@cuspryd3rhighly possible it is an F3. This wasn’t a direct hit. The inflow took off a considerable amount of roof and brought in debris from several hundred yards. Tornadoes this erratic tend to have patchy inflows. It’s the whole ‘skipped this house and took out that one’ thing. I have no doubt if the main vortex would’ve hit the home it would’ve been destroyed. This person is either brave, or knew that and decided they stood a better chance out on a newer and well-constructed and/or ground-anchored deck. Or both. He looked like he was vacillating between going inside and staying out. In all honesty, I’d have probably got inside that truck.

    • @@merrim7765ive been through alot of hurricanes including the eye wall landfall of katrina here in bay st louis MS with 30 ft wall of water that threw cars like bath toys. It takes more wind than that to move a big truck like that. About 140+ the wind can potentially start pushing cars 155+ it can start flipping them. Its amazing the stuff you see stuck on your roof with near 200mph wind gust around you. They lie about katrina the waves broke the local buoys at 40ft so they dont know how high the waves got. The wind gauge broke at 200mph, they down graded the storm saying it was a cat 3. Thats a straight up lie. Ive been in numerous cat 3 hurricanes.

If we don't take action now, in 5-7 years it will be impossible to live on the planet. And not later than 2036 there will be a catastrophe, which will turn the Earth into a second Mars. We still have a chance to save the planet and our own lives. The analytical report and ways to solve the problem are voiced here: "Global Crisis. The Responsibility" (online forum).

      @Scratchync@Scratchync9 ай бұрын
    • @@wheresmyparade there are building inspections to certain limits against hurricanes and closer to the shore houses are elevated, NC gets them every year. After 1999 when Floyd came and the flood of half of NC did too flood insurance is kind of spotty, however many homes are raised as far in as Wilson but a lot of them are near creeks and rivers. All of the insurance is spotty after so many hurricanes and flood plains extended but to an extent of blowing winds there are specs. Now tornadoes are bursts of wind that are hard to measure an inspection against. Many things get an inspection after partially built to ensure break away joints are present so as long as people evacuate the most vulnerable parts of a home the break away part will separate and not pull the whole house with it. Another of the issues with built homes is we are too close to the water table especially in eastern NC so we can’t build basements, but at least one room without windows is suggested

      @Mattnoble80@Mattnoble809 ай бұрын

    • @@Og-Judyyou only get out if you have time. You get in the tub and cover with a mattress if you don't have enough time to get out safely. And what you definitely don't do is what this guy did, which is... Don't stand in front of a huge glass window/door in an essentially paper house, during a tornado 🌪️ with winds at least 150mph+!

  • The insurance company would be like... The tornado missed your house. It was just heavy winds. You're not covered.

    • Tell me you don't read your policy without telling me. Pay for the coverage and youll get it. Uncle Sam is watching the insurance companies.

    • Whatever dude. A home insurance policy doesn't cover every possible mishap that could befall your household, however. If your neighborhood is hit by certain types of natural disasters and your home suffers structural damage, your insurance carrier likely won't cover the loss. @@freedomandguns3231 ...and it was a joke. So not only are you WRONG, but you don't have a sense of humor.
