  • So i just want to say that i LOVE how lovecraftian this all feels. The monster reminds me of a ghoul so far and im geting a mountains of madness vib from the village. This isolated winter outpost stories are always chilling lol. I usually prefer books as my medium of choice for horror but i gotta say the performances form the cast have won me over. Its a crime this hasn't gotten way more views. Im currently trying to get my friends on board this

    • Can I ask what your favorite creepy books are? They don't have to be masterpieces, just ones you personally really enjoyed

  • Came here from scary interesting. This story is so well-paced. Gripping and suspenseful. Doesn’t reveal too much at once, but keeps you coming back for more. I really hope this story continues to be as good as it has been so far as I listen to more!

  • Oh my gosh I knew something was gonna happen to the food! The way they kept on mentioning it in season 1 was all too perfect foreshadowing!

  • I sub to *scary interesting* and that is who recommended this channel in their last vid. I immediately checked it out and I am so glad I did. I absolutely love this type of horror, it’s like h.p. lovecraft meets Clive Barker. It’s so funny b/c when I was younger I wanted to be an archeologist b/c tomb raider and Indiana Jones and Quatermain and Goonies. I read the book THE RELIC and then saw the movie when I was 13/14 and that kinda creeped me out and got me thinking of cursed sites and objects, when I got to college I majored in forensic anthropology instead b/c by that time I had read too many books like Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child (the relic/ thunderhead) and I definitely wasn’t gonna be the 1 to mutate into some unknown creature at a dig site 😅. I was all good with that major until I realized I would have to spend time on *body farms* with maggots, ugh I HATE them, it’s a major source of anxiety for me. Well, I changed my major to pre-pharmacy after that and never looked back 😂. This story just reminds me that I made a good choice b/c if I was part of the repair team I would have had a heart attack just hearing that voice over the recording and would have held everyone up being hysterical😅. Well sorry for the essay, I just want you guys to know that you have a new sub and patreon member. You all have done an *excellent* job and I can’t wait to hear the rest of this series and to see what other series you guys have. 😊🫡

  • The way I breathed a sigh of relief when Walter said 'He is' in reference to Grayham in the recording on his computer. I'm sweating. I know it's likely they all won't make it but this is such a well built story I can't help but hope.
